She has made significant improvements to my skin, especially to acne, which I have struggled with for decades, and some aging. I do purchase the products she recommends, because my goal is to have long-term skin improvement. However, I have noticed that Nichole is mindful that people have varying financial situations and is helpful in choosing products to prioritize in the event I'm not able to buy them all at once. I wish I could have come here during my teenage years, because at that time I took every acne medication under the sun and saw minimal improvements, while Bespoke has been able to heal my skin and keep it healthy. Beyond the skincare, I want to highlight Nichole's kindness and the way she genuinely cares for her clients. On at least two occasions I've had an appointment after going through some major life challenge and each time Nichole listened as I told her what I was going through and made my facial a place to escape everything that was going on. She also helped ensure the products I was using were appropriate for the situation I was in at the time. It might sound minor, but these days it's hard to find people that take the time to truly listen to their clients, and that's exactly what Nichole does. So after reading the reviews for Ritual and following them on social for a few months, I decided to book at appointment for a peel with Victoria. The business suite is located within a much bigger building and upon getting off the elevator on the 8th floor, it was clear to me that many of the surrounding suites include other medical professionals. Upon entry, you'll notice the clinic is pristine and elegant, while also feeling warm and welcoming. Cayla, the patient coordinator at the check-in desk was bubbly and genuine - as a first time visitor, that initial impression means a lot. No pretense, no standoffishness - just a desire to help you to get settled in. I was then taken to the waiting area which was also clean and comfortable, with a few refreshments that are available for guests. Luckily for me, I was only in there for a few minutes before Victoria came to get me. We took a few pics and then headed into the room for my appointment. The room felt very much like a room you may be in for a doctor's appointment - very sterile, bright lights - which of course is a good sign. I then chatted with Victoria about my concerns and needs. She was a great listener as well as a proactive communicator, always educating me as she made suggestions or talked with me about options. It's evident that her top concern is the patient's health and well-being first and foremost, which then guides her recommendations. With the additional knowledge and context she provides, it's impossible not to feel well taken care of, in the hands of a responsible and professional provider. I was also very appreciative of her care and awareness of what treatments would be best for my type of skin, educating me about the Fitzpatrick scale (which I had taken time to educate myself briefly about on my own, but had never had a provider articulate with such mindfulness.) She also was able to balance that professionalism with warmth - which is a rare combination to find. Her ability to make you feel comfortable seems to come naturally and really makes the whole experience not only impactful but enjoyable. It's also evident that she carries a wealth of knowledge and is confident about that (without being condescending.) Overall, very impressed with the business and grateful for Victoria's care. I was getting lash removal & a new set of classic/hybrid lashes. I've been getting eyelash extensions for 13 years and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had. They were thin, whispy, pre-made fans that were poorly glued onto only some of my lashes. They started falling off almost immediately, and there were visible white clumps of glue that a friend pointed out because she thought I had crumbs on my eyes. One week later when I went to another eyelash studio, they couldn't even tell I had any extensions on until they put me under the lights. I would've been better off just curling my own lashes & using mascara because mine are thicker & longer than whatever they used. I've never had such poor quality.

I love love love this place. I've been going to this place to get my lashes done for almost three…read moreyears. I get the yumi keratin lash lift done every 10-12 weeks. I use to get them done every 8 weeks, but now that my lashes are longer I noticed they can last up to 10-12 weeks. I also noticed my lashes got so much longer after I was doing these lifts for a year. Semra is amazing. She's always gentle with my lashes and takes amazing care to make sure they look good. I always leave satisfied with my lashes. My eyes are usually very sensitive as well. When I use to get regular lash lifts, my eyes would get irritated. But with the yumi lash lifts, my eyes aren't irritated. I think the chemicals are more gentle than regular lash lifts. Also I love the natural look of these lashes. They're so curly and long and just naturally pretty. I also got my brows done twice here. I usually don't get my brows done because I don't really care about my brows as much as I do my lashes lol, but Semra made my brows look really nice as well. I was impressed by how different I look with them shaped better. I will think about doing my brows more often here

I visited Semra's studio twice and she gave me a severe allergic reaction (Google PPD allergic reaction and HD Brows and BrowSculpt) that left me with severe hives on my face and extreme swelling of the eyes/ face for which I had to see three doctors and had to use six separate medications. It took me over a month to fully recover (I visited her salon Sept. 17, and am only now fully recovered as of late Oct.). After I told her about it, the only apology she gave me was "sorry to hear about it :(" I asked her for a refund and she refused, not even refunding me the tip or the cost of the service that caused the allergic reaction. On top of that, when I sent her the pictures, her reaction most generously could be understood as ignorance about a very common allergy that occurs due to the chemicals she uses in the line of work she's been in for ~30 years and at worst as accusing me of lying. She refused to take any accountability even when her actions seriously harmed a customer. I'll let you draw whatever conclusions you believe appropriate from my experience.

I unfortunately moved away a year after I had the procedure so I was not able to address this, nor my young adult self came into consciousness to address this sooner. I did have a problem with my drainage and I did have to keep them in longer. When the drains were taken out, and a couple days later, my body reopened the cut up. So he stated that my abdomen wall has to close on its own, which is why I have this dent inside. I had to drain myself everyday till my body closed up the hole. For a plastic surgeon don't you think that you should have offered any suggestions for scar cream to help reduce the appearance? Well I was not offered any, nor was the conversation ever brought up. I spent 14k at the time the surgery. The scar did not age well, and the dent in my side is not what I paid for. Maybe you must have been new to the field when I had this done 10 years ago, but this is just ugly and has affected my self esteem. I am insecure about my sexual partners look past my underwear line because of the scar. It has affected my back since I was not able to sit up straight right away. The scar looks highly uneven as well, and in the middle it looks like the lines did not meet up, and it looks like a mistake. The sides of my hips, I still have the little tip sticking out as well at the end where my scar ends. I have a long toughness in a spot that is still there when I push on the scar line. Now if you want to redo this for me, you can contact me but it would be with a different surgeon. In the end, I did have a follow up with Paul, I had experienced some hernia pains, and when I spoke with my primary doctor, they just said well you did have surgery there. So when I saw him, his first statement was, "well that scar could look better." Did I miss anything Paul?

I visited 4 different physicians in my search and decided to go with Dr. Ruff. Dr. Ruff was the only doctor who listened to what I wanted and told me he understood my concerns. He is smart and funny. His office staff is great, from Cody up front, to Katherine and Sharanda and wonderful Dr. Somenek! His office is aesthetically pleasing and clean; I know this sounds like a strange comment, but 1 of the plastic surgeons I visited actually gave me a MUCH higher estimate than Dr. Ruff and her office was messy, disorganized and she was wearing a dirty lab coat...and I was her 1st patient of the day!!! If you live in and around DC, go with Dr. Ruff, he is the BEST in town!
