The clerk was helping two other women. We wandered the shop and we're smelling soaps. We giggled at each other's reaction to the smells. We continued to look and she asked if she could help us with anything. My friend explained we were out of town and we're shopping. She asked where we had been. We said we just came in from across the street and had lunch and shopped there. She asked to look in my friends bag. My friend graciously said yes and said she got the soap and trivet from the shop across the street. Not only did we realize we were being accused of shoplifting. We were glared at and couldn't wait to leave. We were admiring the beautiful items and were completely dismissed. Yep 57 years old and treated like a criminal.

As soon as I walked in, I was overwhelmed (in a good way) by the variety of art displayed all over the store. I really liked the skateboards painted by a local artist, and the person working the tea counter was happy to talk to me about the artists and the upcoming art fair in town. I took some time to peruse the tea accouterments available in the store, including mugs and infusers, ready-packaged loose tea, and more. This is a great place to shop for a tea lover in your life! Then I meandered over to the walls of tea. There are many varieties available and again the employee was very happy to talk through any questions. There were four teas at the counter that were available to sample. I sometimes appreciate having more limited options instead of having too big of a selection to be indecisive about, so I tried a couple samples and chose from there. I got the Precious Eyebrows tea (that's a translation of the original name!), and it was a really good classic green tea. The treats behind the counter, like the chocolate chunk cookies and different types of pie, were very tempting. I didn't get any food this time, but I do hope to return! The store is also linked to an art and jewelry gallery that I was able to check out while my tea was steeping. There is also both indoor and outdoor seating and a couple of other shops right nearby to check out. Great place to check out.

Truly everywhere you look there is something wonderful and unique. Party supplies, home goods, gifts, cards, candies, beauty and self care items and lots more. Throughout the day of their grand opening celebration they had a craft event, hot chocolate bar, and wine tasting. We stopped by for the wine tasting and also entered a raffle. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They had some really cool balloon displays throughout the store and have plans for more in-store options and ways to help you have them at your own party.
