We should have just given the grieving family the $100 we wasted at this business that I refuse to classify as a florist. We ordered a $100 funeral floor arrangement of roses, gladiolus, and spider mums surrounded by large palm leaves. When we arrived this morning to pick up our order it wasn't ready... because they never made the order! We chose to wait because we hoped they would provide a quality product to make up for the mistake and because we only had an hour to get to a family FUNERAL! After having to wait for our order, we received a pile of flowers thrown into a plastic pot. The flowers looked nothing like the arrangement we ordered and did not even qualify to be called an "arrangement." There were NO gladiolas, mums or palms. Gladiolas, spider mums and long palms were substituted with CHEAP filler daisy's and hyacinth and small mismatched green filler that made the pile of flowers look like I made it myself. We clearly made a mistake by choosing to wait and then pay $100 for something that we were completely embarrassed our names in the sympathy card. We should have asked for a discount because of their failure to have the order ready but what kind of business doesn't offer one for such a huge mistake? Not only did they not offer ANY type of customer service for the error or for our inconvenience, they also DID NOT provide anything remotely similar to the product we ordered. And then proceeded to act like we wouldn't notice the substandard product not worth the plastic pot it was thrown in. This business wants to know how they can improve their service? #1 - Every occasion that warrants a floral arrangement is important but an arrangement for a funeral should be fulfilled with the utmost care. Funeral arrangements are the final gift we can provide to a lost loved one. Remember that. #2 - Daisys are NOT equivalent to gladiolas and if you don't have the products YOU advertise, then advise the customer when the order is placed. You're a florist and provide ONE product... flowers. How do you get it so wrong? Or are you just in the business of taking advantage of customers and their vulnerability during the occasion they need your product for? Please review your own website photos before taking orders and before making an arrangement. #3 - All businesses make mistakes but mistakes should be rectified with above and beyond customer service and not the rushed, unsympathetic experience we had this morning. Please care more about a customer who has to show up to a funeral with a product they are embarrassed to give. I order a lot of flowers and I have never received something so shoddy that it wasn't even arranged in the correct shape of a funeral arrangement let alone only included ONE type of flower advertised. If the person who made this arrangement is a professional florist, she needs to work on her skills. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. Giving one star is too much. read more

This place is not customer friendly meaning there is no room to walk in the store as there is stuff everywhere. There is a barely one person wide path to walk to the counter in the back. I ordered some flowers and I went to pick it up and they forgot to make my order. I had to wait a half an hour for the women to make my order and the flowers she used were huge half dead and lopsided did not look that good for prom. read more

My personal experience has been fantastic, I have bought flowers here several time over the last few years. For me, the flowers have always been beautiful, relatively OK cost, and lasted for at least a week. Having read other reviews, I can understand their frustration. But the owner has always been pleasant, responsive and friendly to me. My wife has always loved the arrangements. Local florists do cost more than 1-800-flowers and other online retailers. When they are contracted through those websites, they are further raked through the coals, which may result in arrangements that are disappointing . I try to support local where I can and I have been proud to support Victorian Rose. read more

AVOID THIS PLACE! Ordered a $70 bouquet and they only delivered 6 roses and 8 carnations, less than 1/3 what I paid for! Told their prices went up for the holidays and they reserve the right to deliver what they "feel they like" regardless what you pay for. Ridiculous and will NEVER order again from this company! This place and owner are the worst. We paid $85 for something that looked like it could have been bought at Publix. Called 1800flowers to complain. We were assured that it would be taken care of the next day. The next day our sister called us on her birthday to say some lady was at her workplace screaming at her to give her the vase back. When our brother got on the phone she was screaming at him that if we wanted new flowers she needed the vase back. Who treats not just customers, but fellow human beings this way?!?! While the flowers delivered were beautiful, they came on Tuesday. For Mother's Day. Sunday. Happened to mention it to a friend and the same thing happened to her. Flowers delivered on Monday. For Mother's Day. Sunday. She spoke to the owner and the owner said she had been busy and ran out of vases. Really?? Find another place to order flowers. read more
