It really pains me to leave this negative review. I ordered flowers for a graveside funeral. I booked an appointment with the father, Craig, to go over what I wanted. I only wanted white wicker baskets with a handle, and an arrangement that looked like it was for St.Patrick's day. A sea of green carnations, other white flowers, Bells Of Ireland, and ferns. I added leprechaun hats and fake potato picks. I had to rip out beer steins and booze just to make it presentable. No white baskets, just ugly bowls that didn't even match each other. The giant clover was stuck in one basket.

This florist always exceeds our expectations. We live out of state and order from them at least twice a year to send arrangements to our mother that lives locally. Each time the service that is provided is unprecedented and the quality of the flower arrangements are superb. Would highly recommend!!

Leah did the flowers and centerpieces for our wedding in April and they came out stunning! We know very little about flowers and had no idea what would look good, but she asked us about our style and other decor and managed to put together our dream arrangements without us even knowing what our dream was! The flowers ended up being one of our favorite parts of the wedding and we got so many compliments on them. Additionally, Leah was so fun to work with and has a sense of humor and calmness about her that made everything feel stress-free and easy. Huge thanks to Leah and It's So Ranunculus for everything.

I rely on this great business to find the perfect gifts for my mother who lives in that area of CT. Birthdays and Mother's Day are covered - the photo is of the arrangement Craig came up with for her 81st birthday this week. Thanks so much for being easy to work with long distance and for the quality you deliver!

So grateful for Leah! She saved us in a pinch and went above and beyond to ensure our Senior had the most elegant corsage. Forever in her debt--if you want the highest quality, most beautiful stems and arrangements and a local business owner and staff that truly care, look no further. Thank you, Leah!

Only about a half-hour away from me is Jessica's Garden. Here's why my wife and I love coming here... Atmosphere/Appearance: Kind of out in the sticks is this gem, but many benefits of that are that there's private parking and plenty of it. Up the hill from where you park is where you go to order your food. You walk up to the counter to check out the menu or you can order from your phone. Hint, if you check-in on Yelp you may get a coupon to use online! Once you order you won't really be notified so just go to the other window around the corner from where you ordered to pick up your food. There's plenty of picnic table style seating and so much property to explore. There's woods back to check out and this place is just so peaceful. It's also... BYOB. That's what's most important. Lol, especially with a liquor store right up the street. Service: There really isn't any since you go order your own food then go pick it right back up. Food: It's a pretty simple menu here. The lobster roll is what you want. Yes, it can be pricy, but lobster just is. However, it's amazing. The lobster is soft, tender, succulent and of course, buttery. You do have to assemble the roll yourself since everything here is sold as a to-go order. It kinda makes sense. I've also had some wings and onion rings here. They're okay, nothing to write home about, but good enough for me to get each time I visit. Value: Moderate. Easily affordable, nothing crazy and the fact that it's B.Y.O.B. makes it WAY better! Lol. In conclusion, Jessica's Garden is my duck-off spot where I go if I wanna eat outdoors, am craving a lobster roll and I just wanna chill. Check this place out guys and continue to support these local businesses!

One that was not stifling. I imagine Jessica's could be absolutely amazing, but the sad part was the lobster roll. It was tiny and over buttered which made the hot dog roll it sat on very mushy and unappetizing. I wanted to love Jessica's so much! It's my namesake! But alas the food. :( I will give them another try though because it was such a fun place. Maybe I'll try something different off the menu. Hang tight!

The quality of the trees is great - 5-6 years and we've never had a bad tree. They're full, look green and healthy until the New Year and smell amazing. Backdrop cutouts, the tractor, and a grow line are other photo stops that keep you coming back. One heads up that admission doubles on weekends, but $8 per person wasn't terrible, and there's a discount if you buy hayride and Pumpkin Town tickets together. Pumpkin facts are all over pumpkin town (pumpkins are hand-painted, costumed each year, and stored nightly, etc.) and it's a fun scavenger hunt for these facts. Jumping houses, tubes, and interactive houses were the best parts for our little one. Credit/debit users, remember to bring cash for postcards as you can send them postmarked from Pumpkin Town, autumn treats like cider donuts and popcorn at the snack stand, and the catapults over the pond aimed at Red Sox and Yankees targets (must be a Mets Family here!). Also remember a couple bucks to cash for the breast cancer donation box, in memory of Sandy herself. Having to bring cash isn't my favorite but there was a farm stand and snack bar with souvenirs where cards could be used. Pumpkin Town is part folk art installation, part amusement park, part harvest fair, and a fun tradition. I only wish they had a Santa Town each winter...

We ordered a $100 funeral floor arrangement of roses, gladiolus, and spider mums surrounded by large palm leaves. When we arrived this morning to pick up our order it wasn't ready... because they never made the order! We chose to wait because we hoped they would provide a quality product to make up for the mistake and because we only had an hour to get to a family FUNERAL! After having to wait for our order, we received a pile of flowers thrown into a plastic pot. The flowers looked nothing like the arrangement we ordered and did not even qualify to be called an "arrangement." There were NO gladiolas, mums or palms. Gladiolas, spider mums and long palms were substituted with CHEAP filler daisy's and hyacinth and small mismatched green filler that made the pile of flowers look like I made it myself. We clearly made a mistake by choosing to wait and then pay $100 for something that we were completely embarrassed our names in the sympathy card. We should have asked for a discount because of their failure to have the order ready but what kind of business doesn't offer one for such a huge mistake? Not only did they not offer ANY type of customer service for the error or for our inconvenience, they also DID NOT provide anything remotely similar to the product we ordered. And then proceeded to act like we wouldn't notice the substandard product not worth the plastic pot it was thrown in. This business wants to know how they can improve their service? #1 - Every occasion that warrants a floral arrangement is important but an arrangement for a funeral should be fulfilled with the utmost care. Funeral arrangements are the final gift we can provide to a lost loved one. Remember that. #2 - Daisys are NOT equivalent to gladiolas and if you don't have the products YOU advertise, then advise the customer when the order is placed. You're a florist and provide ONE product... flowers. How do you get it so wrong? Or are you just in the business of taking advantage of customers and their vulnerability during the occasion they need your product for? Please review your own website photos before taking orders and before making an arrangement. #3 - All businesses make mistakes but mistakes should be rectified with above and beyond customer service and not the rushed, unsympathetic experience we had this morning. Please care more about a customer who has to show up to a funeral with a product they are embarrassed to give. I order a lot of flowers and I have never received something so shoddy that it wasn't even arranged in the correct shape of a funeral arrangement let alone only included ONE type of flower advertised. If the person who made this arrangement is a professional florist, she needs to work on her skills. I wouldn't recommend this business to anyone. Giving one star is too much.
