As I get older, I still find myself wandering into Pink. It's youthful, vibrant colors create an upbeat and happy environment. I don't love the clothes the way I used to, probably because I am 36 years old and this store is geared toward the younger crowd. And the bras just aren't working for my size (they carry my size, but I find it lacks the support I need). But it's fun to look at everything. What I do love is there body sprays/lotions. They smell so good!! I bought 5 different scents today, despite having a complete overflow at home! Customer service was great today as well. My cashiers name is not on the receipt but she was great helping on the floor as well as at the register and helping me navigate my way through coupons and rewards. Another woman, possibly the manager, came up to me with a product I may like at the register when she saw I was buying scents she likes as well. It was a really nice and and personable experience. She didn't force me to buy it or anything either, she just said you gotta smell this you'll love it, and left me to smell and decide for myself, no pressure. I really liked that. Items they carry here are lounge wear, active wear, bathing suits, pajamas, slides, bras, underwear, and body wash/spray/lotion. I think there are some socks by the register as well. Ugh. The associates must go through rigorous upspeak (rising-pitch intonation) training to sound so in unison as you walk through the store. You are repeatedly asked (in a tone you would not think audible to humans) if they can help you find anything. That interaction is just a segue to tell you about current offers and their name, and without stopping for a breath. You will be asked who helped you at checkout. It's nice to be greeted, yes, but this is far above and beyond a simple hello, let me know if you need help. These beauties were strategically placed everywhere BUT at the register, to the point of having a queue (a cattle corral really, disguised with pink bows) decorated with yet another beauty hawking yet another deal. NO. I don't want the whatever-it-is, I just want to check out, can't you please go back there and attend the register so we can all move on?! It's not the employees' fault. They are doing their job. It's just a sorry way to do business IMHO. I have yet to find someone who either likes it when a driver tailgates them or enjoys these high-pressure salespeople. I must add we had good service from a non-bothersome helper we approached who steered us to the department called, ahem, Wicked. She was no-nonsense, stocking the underthings, yet took the time to actually assist us in a cheery manner. The other lovelies could take a pointer from her. read more

This small venue is as squished as Carmen Electra in a 32A bra and they only have four (or was it five?) stalls in the fitting rooms, resulting in long waits to try on your skivvies. Normally, I'd give this VS two stars but I'm adding an extra star for the staff. One employee gracefully endured a stank-bitch customer who threw a tantrum because store policy forbid her boyfriend from entering the dressing area to approve of her lingerie before purchase. (She instead had to put on a robe and flash her man in a private corner of the store to see if he popped a boner.) Whatever. Hate the policy but don't take it out on someone who was actually attempting to be nice when enforcing the rules. Another employee went the extra mile to bring me more sizes and items to try on when things weren't working out for me in the dressing room. I thought she was angling for a commission but, no, she was just doing her job and doing it well. I've become so used to slacker, could-care-less sales staff that the service here made my day. So, thanks, VS staff! And to the gal desperately seeking her BF's approval: I witnessed the entire episode with you and the salesgirl, and you were unnecessarily bitchy. That is all. read more

I found out what Victoria's Secret is. She's actually a he. Her actual name is Victor. How cool is that. This location is the busiest of the three that I've been to in WNY, but they also are a little bit larger. I do like the employees here, but then I like them at all three locations. The last time I was at this one was sometime last year when I was with a girl that does not live in Buffalo, and swears by VS back in her home state. She wanted me to take her to our "best mall" so we went to the Galleria and she did a bunch of shopping. I think her impression was that VS in her home state (down south) is better and has more selection but that the prices are comparable. Since I haven't been to any VS down south, and since the employees here were lovely to us and we had a nice time shopping together, it's hard for me not to give it a 4. I'd give it a 5 except that as people say, the prices are pretty high. As I said in my review of the Eastern Hills location, I really like going to VS with a girl because whether she's a friend or a partner, it feels intimate and, well, "secret." Some how special and exciting. I'm sure there are other guys out there who can relate to this. I love VS and it's one of the few places that my very-picky-gf will buy underwear and cute outfits from. She's totally a "Pink" girl. I didn't realize that they had separate "VS Pink" stores until recently. That's pretty cool. They take this girlie clothing thing very seriously, and rightly so. Most of the customers and employees are ridiculously good looking, and there are imposing pictures of all of the supermodels all over the place just to remind you what the clothes will make you look like. Men because they get to use their imagination for later and women because everything just looks great and makes you feel great. Walking in here you see undies in various styles and colors. Cotton. Silky. Large. Small. Black. Fuscia. Turquoise. Then as you move in the store further you see various bra colors and styles. Lacey. Enhanced. Green. Pink. Matching the undies. The white, thin, short, black haired employee is rude. She was the greeter, and oh my she was filled with attitude. Apparently it's "not her job" to find my size. She also made a degrading comment about my weight, ugh. It's 2022, body shaming shouldn't be a thing. Not really one to leave a review unless it's bad, but like come on. Do better. read more

To literally add injury to insult, I can't wear the bras I bought from Victoria's Secret, after the huge mess one of the SA's caused when I came in. Why? The bras gave me a horrible rash. No, really. Wherever the underwire touched my skin, I had an itchy, painful rash. Once I stopped wearing the VS bras, it went away. I did a little research, and it seems that VS has been in hot water in the recent past for using formaldehyde in its fabrics (causing the same type of rashes in other women), which, coincidentally, I am allergic to. I cannot say for a fact that these bras were coated with formaldehyde without a lab test, but I can say that there's a history of the company using a particular chemical in the fabric, and my own sensitivities to the same chemical were triggered upon wearing the bras. Draw your own conclusions. But hey, the bras I picked up at Marshalls for half the price are just fine, by the way. Anyway, there's pretty much no way I'll ever patronize this place again. And while I'm at it? That whole PINK campaign is ridiculous. Knock it off. read more

I'm writing about the PINK store located on the 2nd fl of the galleria mall near jack astors ....... Awful Awful Awful!!! Went there today to get a certain item stood in line for 25 minutes with 1 thing!! The cashier #3221229 was busy "catering " to 2 young lady's 1st they didn't have enough credit, so they put things back then they had to check item by item to see the price and what they wanted to buy..... shopping should be a happy experience!! But NOT today my 1 item plus my free item would have took 5 mins or less but no. I was ignored 25 minutes to buy underwear is UNEXCEPTIONABLE , I did speak with a manager before leaving the store to express the disappointment, I normally shop at the blvd mall ... with no issues I think I will just continue to go there. read more

Came here with my fiancée to exchange some stuff as soon as we get in here we are bombarded and as we walk around you just get the feeling that your being monitored like we're going to steal something my fiancée spends thousand on thousands of dollars for us to feel like a common crook... Prices are a bit on the expensive end. But they have good deals at times which is when I usually tend to go... And the lines and be pretty long, and extensively time consuming. But the register is always accommodating and don't complain when I try using multiple coupons or whatever. I don't like when I'm trying to look at stuff and I'm hounded by sales people trying to sell me more than what I'm looking for. I'm obviously in for a reason... If I'm just looking, I'm just looking. I was very sick once with a severe fever , could barely breathe, and had to make an exchange. Was taking forever to find something cause of that reason. So multiple employees were following me around like I was robbing the place. I've probably spent thousands since I started shopping there. I wish I got it all free lol but unfortunately my credit card says a different story. Not too big of a fan of the Galleria VS mainly it's too busy all the time, but it has by far one of the best selections if you're looking for something particular. read more
