On Tuesday, April 24th, we brought my friend's 2018 Audi Q3 in to repair a flat. I told my friend not to remove the nail as air wasn't leaking so we managed to get there without any issues. Before we opened a work order, I asked Bianca if we could now remove the nail to see if it's actually leaking. We removed the nail and immediately air started to escape. I got reassurance from Bianca that they would inflate the tire before moving the SUV and she said they would definitely do that. Anyone with automotive knowledge knows the dangers of causing degradation to the sidewall. Running a tire flat could reduce the integrity of the tire which could result in an accident if the tire blew out. So my friend and I leave to go get lunch (I planned on heading home after). We were walking along Yonge and so happen to walk by as the tire guy was moving the SUV into a parking spot (which means he would then have to drive it again into one of the bays). We look closely and the tire is FLAT!!! I confront Bianca about this in the lot and she just keeps telling me, "It's ok, it's ok." No apologies. No Bianca, it's not ok. You gave me your word so you knew the importance of inflating the tire and not running it flat! We were quoted 3-4 hours for the repair. If I weren't dealing with a major concussion from a car accident, I would have stayed around to watch them like a hawk. We walk away. Less than an hour later, we get the call that the vehicle is ready. In hindsight, I should have spoken to the manager that was there when we cashed out. But I have not been well so wasn't in the right frame of mind. I was an apprentice mechanic for years. I still work in the automotive industry. When you catch people cutting corners, you wonder what else goes on that you're not aware of? Thoroughly disappointed because they evidently broke trust by not keeping their word and they were caught in the act. 04/30 Thank you for your response. That is a nonsense excuse. Took my car there a couple of times - first time for an oil change on a group voucher deal and the second for some brake work. The synthetic oil change was really expensive - as though they charged me retail for the oil. But for the brakes they did good work, used quality (Wagner) parts, fixed rather than replace what they could, and the shop rate is competitive, at least for the midtown area - much less than Sammy's next door. The only thing I didn't like was Rocco's "don't worry, we'll give you a good deal" approach - it just struck me as a little, well, old-school. If I hadn't already had an estimate from the dealer and known what needed to be done and a price for comparison purposes I'd have run. Will I go back? No reason not to, I suppose. read more

just got new tires on Friday. Bridgestone Ecopia H/L 422 Plus RFT. it's the tire they recommended for the price point i wanted to spend. after coming home from the shop i did some research on the tire i purchased and the reviews are great. better than michelin and pirelli. so, i'm super happy that they recommended the Bridgestone. car feels amazing. better than new on the original michelins. they did a great job. very professional. invoice was exactly as quoted. no surprises and on time. bonus is this garage is couple blocks from my house, so it's very convenient. i'll definitely go back. read more

If you want to save money, do not chose this location! I went to this location as there was an issue with my vehicle running smoothly. I was quoted $750 to have both my alternator and battery replaced. I decided not to have the repair done at this shop due to the price and took my vehicle to my regular mechanic. My mechanic advised I only required a new alternator and the total cost would be $380 taxes/labour included. It's very disappointing to see a repair shop take advantage of unsuspecting customers. I will never visit this location again and wouldn't recommend anyone else does unless you would like to be a victim of being ripped off. read more

This is a warning that if you aren't sure what's wrong with your car don't go to Victor's Automotive on Yonge Street. My niece took her car in to repair the windshields wipers, they didn't replace the correct parts and charged double the standard charge for labor. The wipers broke twice within a few weeks. The owner, Rocco Scono, was unpleasant, condescending and unapologetic. read more

I brought my car in today for an emissions test and to top up my oil and coolant. I didn't need to make an appointment and I was in and out in 20 minutes. I have brought my car in here a number of times and EVERY time I've had a great experience! The staff are super friendly and very helpful. I have never felt like they are trying to sell me something that I don't need and they are always willing to give advice. I highly recommend Victor's Tire! read more

WARNING: CUSTOMER BEWARE! We took our Audi here to do some routine repairs and maintenance. Several thousand dollars later, after many repeat visits, where they kept our car most times for over a week, our car was still in disrepair. Sometimes we barely drove off the lot, only to have the red service light blink, with an apparently new problem. While, at times, they fixed minor problems, it seemed like we always came home with an even bigger problem, at great cost to us. Finally, the last time, after they had had our car for almost two weeks, we drove off the lot only to find our car STILL NOT FIXED. We went to pick up our car, and said we would only pay half of our bill until such time as we could be certain that the car was indeed fixed. Of course, not to our surprise, the problems we took the car in for still persisted, so we contacted the garage to say we would not be paying the remainder of our bill. Instead, we took our car to an alternate garage, a registered Audi dealership, where not to our surprise it was established that this garage had done more harm than good. Then, to add insult to injury, VICTOR'S TIRE CENTRE STOLE OUR CAR to try to recoup their last $700 that we had refused to pay! That after already taking us for almost $10,000. STAY AWAY FROM VICTOR'S TIRE CENTRE if you want your car fixed and don't want to lose thousands of dollars in the process! I can't warn you enough! read more

It was our last day in Toronto. A beautiful 18 degrees C. It was a great day to end our little four day vacation from New Jersey. To our dismay, we discovered a flat tire just before we had to leave. There was no way we could drive 8 hours with our measly spare tire! Unfortunately, we had to purchase a new tire. If there was anything that I dreaded more than the drive, it was the auto repair shop. Of all the places that I hate, auto repair shops are up there along with the DMV and dental offices. Auto repair shop workers are known to totally jip their customers off. At least the ones in America do that. This shop totally changed my mind! We called about replacing our tire and they had to have the tire delivered which took approximately 2-3 hours since they did not carry it. We used that time to eat and walk around St. Lawrence Market, so the time of delivery didn't feel as long as we thought. Once we arrived, they said the tire would be replaced within the hour. The worker, Frankie, was telling us about how ridiculously priced the tire was (especially in comparison to the American price). However, he said that he would match the American price understanding that our situation totally sucked. What a guy :') Also, our tire was replaced exactly in an hour. This place keeps their word and totally helps their customers out. They're friendly and it doesn't feel depressing like most auto repair shops. They didn't press any extra charges nor make ridiculous claims of how my car needed repairing in other areas. I thought I wanted to move to Canada after my bike tour around the Toronto Island, but now I really want to move here knowing people here are so friendly and don't suck. read more
