We used to play here but the courts are so cracked up you never know where the ball is actually going to bounce. Court two has a crack/bump that is so big, it could be used to teach kids how to jump a mountain bike. The folks who actually still play tennis there have replaced the term "Mulligan" with "Overman." an example to be used in a sentence would be, " dude, that ball took such a weird bounce, just take an Overman" We joined Newcome so we could actually play tennis.

Most notably, she really went to bat for us to make sure everything promised was delivered correctly and on time. She even picked our flowers up on the day of the wedding, policed the rowdy wedding party, soothed weepy parents, and kept a party crashing rooster at bay! We got amazing people in our table and we got to learn about white carrots and why now they are orange, we learned about cheeses, also we learn the basics of a charcuterie board, from color combinations to what goes best with what. She was very patient with me when i hadn't filled the questionnaire out completely. i was so busy with little help and all the questions were a lot, but important to help them. She didn't get angry or anything even called me the week of to prepare and finalize things. Offered advice and answered my questions. Jennifer was very responsive. Now Mia was my onsite person my day of coordinator. She was nothing short of amazing the sweetest person ever that packed a huge punch in the day. She was very responsive and handled everything that came our way with tact. She assisted with my thrown together rehearsal. My photographer was going to cancel the day before and she calmed me and even tried to work on suggestions. My Husband best man failed to show she calmed me and worked around all the changes we made last minute. She took a very good photo of my husband and I on our send off with my polaroid that i just love. She even remembered everything that i forgot. She communicated well with all my vendors and took the worrying off my shoulders. She kept us on schedule and when we veered off she reassured that it was ok. She checked in with me and my helpers and helped my step dad drape my beautiful backdrop for the wedding. Mitzi asks the critical questions you will not find on The Knot or Pinterest. Specific timeline details that you may not think of until much later in the planning process. Although we had a rain plan in place for the day of the wedding, I was not willing to give up on having my dream outdoor ceremony. Despite there being high odds of rain for our wedding day, I wanted to take a chance and try to make the outdoor ceremony happen. Thanks to Mitzi's expert planning, we were able to setup for the ceremony inside and outside and make the call only 30 minutes before the wedding. It rained so hard that the power went out in the bridal suite and Mitzi was still able to pull off nothing short of a miracle. In addition to coordinating with every single one of our vendors to ensure a seamless evening, Mitzi also went to bat for us whenever she could. Whether it was negotiating with our caterer to ensure certain rental items were included in our contract or disputing charges from the transportation company for a town car that failed to show up, I knew I could trust Mitzi to handle everything. My husband, Phil, and I waited for 3 years for this wedding because of COVID. At first, it was going to be at Wedgewood Brittany Hill in CO, then it got cancelled because of COVID, then Wedgewood Carmel in CA when things started to reopen, and finally we moved it to Hofmann Ranch because my mom is struggling with complications from her double knee replacement surgeries that were postponed because of COVID and she couldn't fly to CA. The day before our wedding, Southwest cancelled Phil's best man's and his wife's flights, Phil's cousins' flights, and my friend's flights and my uncle had to drive all the way from San Diego the day before the wedding. We were beyond worried and devastated. Because of the Hofmann Ranch team, we felt so secure and so loved and our families and friends were able to meet each other for the first time and connect with each other. Britney thought of everything: making sure that my mom had a place to sit so that she could march with me halfway down the path of the patio deck, she held onto my train, she made a water color Phannie drink sign that was gorgeous, she made sure that we ate, she thought of every single detail and schedule change when our families kept talking and singing (this is what happens when you get a whole bunch of Filipinos together LOL), she made sure that Phil and I ate food, and there are countless other things that I am sure that we don't know about. Giving Britney my bouquet was the only way that I could say how grateful I was for creating a magical place and experience in spite of all the obstacles.
