We searched the room thoroughly before leaving and rechecked all luggage again once we got home, with no success. My husband contacted the hotel and was told the morning staff would be asked. Given the value of this item, that response is not sufficient. A property at this level should have a clear, documented lost-and-found process with accountability, rather than relying on informal follow-up. We paid over $600 for a one-night stay. The level of urgency and communication so far does not reflect the seriousness of the situation. FIVE STARS IS NOT ENOUGH STARS! World's best massage…read moretherapist, hands down. Of all the top-notch restaurants and life-bettering small businesses I've found thanks to the legends at YELP, CK Thai Massage might be the best recommendation I've ever been given. Of all time! But seriously, thank you so much CK! (She changed my life.) I had been very sore for a long time after battling some next level health problems. I booked a two hour combination Thai massage appointment based on the positive Yelp reviews which contained details related to sports injuries and scar tissue. I was able to book the appointment with service details through the Yelp app which was super helpful. I found a street spot right in front. Plenty of available places on a weeknight, including disabled spots. I confirmed my appointment and entered the cute waiting room where I was greeted immediately by CK the amazing. CK addressed my health issues straight away and led me to a private room with instructions. I pointed out a few sore spots and said I was recovering from surgeries. CK recommended some additional treatments in consideration of my health goals. I have a lot of scars and broken bones from my early childhood which doctors and massage therapists ask me about and treat gingerly. The medical community is incredibly nice to people with injuries like mine in my experience. CK applied light therapy during the massage and kneeded a therapeutic oil into my sore muscles. She pointed out where I had scar tissue and past surgeries one by one as I nodded, totally impressed and in awe of her surgeon-like skills as as massage therapist. (AMAZING!) I had plastic-like scar tissue throughout my body residual of my health problems. LIfe threatening anemia and severe bone marrow depletion is no joke! CK helped me stretch carefully and slowly while she used different massage techniques to help me with my inflexibility. CK found some severe muscle scarring in my underarm area that I didn't know was there. She first identified it as a surgical site near my lymph nodes but I told her I hadn't had a surgery there. She looked confused and assured me that I had a surgery there. (?!) CK looked concerned about my health during the massage and she paused to show me some areas on my body where I did not have enough or any muscles according to her. CK pointed out an area of my back, which she said was putting a lot of pressure on my joints and ligaments due to my muscle depletion. CK urged me to PLEASE eat five eggs a day and not to worry about the calories because the vitamins and protein were so good for me and my health. Great advice! I felt so much better during and after the massage. I really couldn't believe a single massage therapy appointment could be so helpful and healing. I went for my first swim in several years that night to celebrate how much better I felt and how far I had come. But. To my astonishment, I couldn't swim. This girl, who used to haul a longboard past the biggest breaks, out swimming the strongest men with a heavy kayak, was now in danger of drowning in the shallow pool. My muscles had left me in places I didn't know about. Everywhere miss CK pointed out. And then some. Upon her advice, I decided it was a medical emergency for me to start strength training. I invested my life savings and my heartfelt efforts into lifting heavy weights with professional trainer. (With my stubborn eyes on the prize..) I thought about CK when I made a big pan of egg each day. Even when I didn't want to eat them, I did. I felt better for every ounce of her advice I took. The previous month, I reclined in a chair and my body temperature dropped to a dangerously low temperature. The area in my underarm which CK identified as injured caused me to lose a couple gallons of sweat in an instant after stretching to relieve some scar tissue and swelling in my underarm which relieved some long-term soreness and improved my flexibility. My health recovery has been slower than I expected but I'm better now than I ever thought was possible. CK is a huge part of that outcome for me. My experience with Thai culture has always been health forward and health first. I'm lucky to have made my way here and privileged to be the beneficiary of CK's contribution to my health recovery. If you are sore from that desk job, car accident or illness, get your bones repaired here. Realign your everything with the advice you'll be given by CK herself. Battle the ultimate bad guys or sicknesses and come here to get help with your big health comeback. Post massage advice taken, I regained a lot of my muscle, flexibility and strength. I couldn't have done it alone.;) If you see some newly posted pictures of me looking better than EVER, you can give some of the credit to CK for helping me get here. (For God, community and country.) **Lifts Truck** (see you at the world peace uye!)

I stayed in a suite which had a private patio with a stone tub so you can have your own personal mineral bath. The room was very clean, not a lot of amenities, but it did have a small kitchenette and a very cool record player complete with records to play. There are three mineral pools. One is smaller with jets and has a higher temperature than the other two. There's another bigger one that serves as a swimming pool with a lower temperature. And the third one is enclosed with a medium temperature. As you walk further through the garden and down some stone steps, you will reach a small spa that has various rooms for treatments. There is also a dry sauna, showers, and an infrared sauna on the outside. This one was my favorite because the glass doors face the garden. It was very Zen. The massage therapist were very good. My friend and I were beyond happy with the beautiful and quiet setting. We enjoyed a superbly private stay, as it's off season. Most people come to stay when the weather is cooler. There are three mineral water pools, one in an open sided, Beautifully constructed, covered patio. One wall was river rock. Another wall was tiled seating that was cool and comfortable to sit on. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauna the morning we left, before breakfast. Sweating for 30" is relaxing if you haven't tried it yet. Breakfast options included Avocado, tomato, hard boiled eggs, bagels, croissants, fresh cooked waffles, cold, cereal, yogurt, half-and-half, cream cheese, coffee, tea, and I'm sure more I did not note. We breakfasted I'm a lovely little patio, surrounded by birds and plants. A neighbor cat visited but did not engage. There are daybeds along the pool and a few under the trees in the patio in between the row of rooms. I believe there were a total of 14 rooms. Each room has cool tiled floors and a a fresh king bed. Ours had a lovely bathtub with the hottest shower I think I've ever had. There are imported Italian soap, shampoo, and conditioner (that left my hair looking very pretty). There were two wonderful robes in the boudoir. I wore mine too and fro as I am born to spa and was in seventh heaven. Our room opened up onto a large patio balcony from which we watched the sunrise and the sunset over the valley in front of us. The amenities are open 24 hours. The owner, Mrs C is hospitable and engaging. She has Italian soaps and such for you to purchase, as well as soda pop and wine. Time and money went into planning this spa. The property is absolutely beautiful and well cared for. A big plus is that the jacuzzis and pool are open 24 hours. They have a semi-indoor hot spring jacuzzi that is very large and has a really nice ambiance (especially at night) with the lanterns on the wall. They also have another hot spring jacuzzi outdoors by the pool and it is amazing to soak in this jacuzzi and watch the sun set over the mountains across the valley - Truly a million dollar view! Their pool is luke-warm and so nice to take a dip after soaking in the jacuzzis. And if you plan on spending the day on their pool deck they have lots of nice cushioned pool lounge chairs and 5 outdoor beds. There are also tables you can sit at and have a meal or play games, etc. Our room was very comfortable and luxurious. I love the dark wood, heavy curtains and Italian tile! The bed was very comfortable and we slept great. Tip: they have a couple of rooms that have private outdoor patios overlooking the valley and mountains but they don't offer these rooms on Priceline, Expedia or other travel service. Camellia said they only book these rooms directly from the hotel website or by calling. They also have a nice area for massages & treatments. We didn't get any treatments but I believe they have independent massage therapists come in when you book treatment. But it is a really nice spa / treatment area that rivals some of the best spas I've been to.

Well where do I start? My 3-day trip to O Spa 'Resort' was my 4th trip. And probably my last. I did…read more3 day passes since Coachella rates were $450 a night. I arrived on Friday to a cold main pool (i wish I'd measured the temp) and the overflow drain was plugged and backing up into the pool. Crud was flowing into the pool. So a cold dirty pool. Ok. You see, I'm a hot springs nerd and this is why I go to O Spa. For the water. Clean unchlorinated water. Upon then investigating the lower shallow pool, all the fresh hot water was on full blast in that pool and going to drain and down the hill. All that hot water SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE MAIN POOL. So I spoke with Marcos the new manager about it and he's awesome. I told him about the fresh water pipe that used to flow into the main pool and its valve which was now cut off by a saw. Why? So I get why they didn't want more water going into the pool as it will literally overflow if the drain is clogged. Ok, I convinced him to pump out the overflow drain (I went to my van to retrieve a pump... who brings a pump to a resort? ME! I told you I'm a hot springs nerd). By the time I had come back, Marcos had connected a length of pipe to the hot source! Awesome ! Let's pump this cold nasty water out and fill with CLEAN. NOPE! Rick the owner intercepted my idea and was scolding Marcos when I came back with the pump in hand. 'Why is he holding a pump?' I overheard him ask. TO FIX THE PROBLEM! I retreated to my lounge chair without saying a word and began thinking I should forfeit my 3 days of money and go to Mi Kasa or any number of other hot springs on that Miracle Hill. But no, I stuck it out. So now they are filtering this stagnant water and heating it. While you have FREE HOT FRESH WATER FROM THE EARTH! This is not why I came... to swim in cold chlorinated water. Ok so by Sunday the pool had finally heated to 92 degrees (yes I measured it because I'm a hot springs nerd) and it was decent enough. I didn't put my head under water tho. Nope. But with this method of heating, the other two pools got out of whack. The grotto pool was a nice 97 degrees Friday where many of us watched Coachella together (thanks to me also bringing a 2.1 sound system and an iPad) , but then Saturday night, it was 102 degrees and you couldn't just stay in for hours. Why? Because the main pool overflow drain! Fix that! You have to! Is that even legal? Seriously, what does the Riverside County Health Department think about that? I'm going to inquire. Fill the pool with fresh hot water and let it drain. Let it flow. I am one of the few people that use and even know how to fill the stand-alone bathtub. It's awesome to drink morning coffee in your own tub in the chilly desert air. But again, you have to turn off the lower tub valve to provide pressure to the bathtub. And if you close it all the way? The whole system crashes and then there is zero water. PUT SOME SIGNS UP! Also, you have to bring your own bathtub drain plug. They can't provide a bathtub drain plug? So the bathtub is useless unless you're a nerd like me. Ok, now let's talk about ice. People have to leave the resort and drive into town to get ice for their drinks? Are you serious? The rooms were $450 a night (Coachella rates) but you can't provide ICE?! The Vevor icemaker they have looks ancient and the display was glitching out. GET A NEW ONE. From my quick math with Coachella and Stagecoach rates, that place hauled in $60,000 just in April ! Not including mine and others day fees! Fix that overflow drain and fix that ice maker! Buy a new one! So instead of relaxing for three days like I wanted to, I spent most of it dealing with cold pools or too-hot hot pools. We had fun thanks to my speakers and Coachella. But it's like camping there. It isn't a 'resort'. It's a campground. Gotta bring your own ice and your own bathtub plug. I've tried to help and had a way to fix the problem but was met with glares and anger. Go buy a pump! They aren't expensive. This isn't rocket science guys. I'm a former mechanical engineer who thrived in thermodynamics and am a hot springs junkie. I'll go elsewhere where the water is clean and not chlorinated. It's a hot springs after all isn't it? FIX. THAT. OVERFLOW. DRAIN. Then we can talk. And maybe I'll come back and bring my money.
