This place is ultra CLEAN, and the food is tasty and healthy. The Dubai bar is divine, with just the right amount of sweetness. The sandwiches are yummy. I'm very picky on cleanliness of restaurants, and Vida Health Bar gets a 10/10 from me, which is a rare event. Even the bathroom at this place is sparkling clean. There were two employees in the kitchen and they prepared part of the order of the party who ordered behind us. Such careful, meticulous attention to ingredient detail, composition and freshness. I'm glad to see such a huge workspace for those behind the counter, usually places like that has absolutely no room to move around. A good design, I think. I had a creamsicle smoothie with some added chia and moringa. Super tasty, didn't last long enough because it was so well-blended and was easy to drink. No struggle. Was my smoothie expensive? In comparison to other places that are corporate, absolutely not. I love being able to support small businesses and this was extremely worth it. I would have loved to have chatted a little longer with the person working (I'm assuming one of the owners) but there was someone else in there too which he was also making the order for. He was very nice and seemed to be really joyous about being there. The entire menu looked great and I'm sad I'm not from the area to try more things. A great stop for vegans, vegetarians and anyone looking for some good healthy food. We got the Hippie Sandwich and an açaí bowl. Everything was delicious and looked beautiful. It's the best açaí bowl we've had since moving to Washington. The ingredients were simple, natural, healthy and fresh. The gentleman who prepared our meal was very friendly and we could see the care that he took in crafting our lunch. It was as though each bite was thought through and the ingredients were proportioned so that every bite had a nice variety of flavors and textures. It's an easy place to recommend. These plant-based, vegan, dairy free smoothies are SO good and the folks working are so kind, energetic, and gave great recommendations. The story behind this shop is so inspiring. One of the co-owners had cancer and had to change his diet and his family made these smoothies for him. Then they went on to share these amazing recipes with the community. I definitely shed some tears. I got the karma smoothie which has strawberry, banana, oats, and other good stuff. It tastes so fresh and flavorful. Next time I wanna come back for their seasonal smoothie which is a creamsicle with mandarin and coconut milk (I'm missing a bunch of other ingredients, but they sounded amazing!) Yakima, listen up!! This is the spot! These guys are so rad and their story is truly inspiring. After one of their brothers was diagnosed with cancer, these guys came together to start a new trend in a part of the country that definitely needs more healthy options. This was our first time to Yakima and I don't think we will be returning, but we were so thankful to find this place on our last morning in town. We eat a vegan diet, which proved challenging in Yakima. To be honest, it is quite a wasteland when it comes to healthy food options (think fast food on every damn corner of major intersections). That being said, Vida offers great options for a morning or mid-day pick-me-up. All their smoothies and bowls are vegan and most of their ingredients are organic. We had the green smoothie and the berry smoothie. Both were delicious and made with love. I wish these brothers all the success in the world and hope you will try this place out! This place is great! The person working was very friendly and had great customer service. I got the Pitaya Bowl with almond butter and no kiwi. I forgot to take a pic before digging in, but it was beautiful and so delicious. Filling and just makes you feel good. My husband got the Karma Smoothie and it was also very tasty...he said the amounts of each ingredient was spot on and he could taste everything individually without any one thing being overpowering. So excited to finally try this place, I've been eyeing it for awhile! Had the Vegan tacos. The portions are big. I am a hungry hungry hippo and I could only eat two of the 3 tacos. I feel stuffed but not terrible (the way I would if this were regular takeout). The 3 tacos fill a regular square carryout container. For $10, I am REAL impressed at the quantity and quality. Once I got a good bite of the "meat", it was a bit salty for me, but I am definitely going to order this again. My husband also talked to the owner who apparently was very kind and threw in his homemade vegan ranch for us to try. Neither of us are ranch eaters, but I slathered it on the second taco with the salsa verde and it was SO GOOD. Looking forward to trying more items here and hoping they expand the savory entrees!
