I've found my new favorite lunch spot! THANK YOU guys for what is hands down THE BEST burger in Midland! I went here based on a quick Yelp search. It was only 6 minutes from my office, so I figured why not? Here's what I love about Vidals. Every restaurant, even at lunch takes super long. Maybe this works for oil field workers who get 2 hour lunches, but corporate workers like me have +/- 1 hour... This joint actually seems to understand that. I was the rth person in line, at 12:10 pm, and I ordered, and had my burger in my hand by 12:25. That's what I call a perfect lunch. This is a stand, not a restaurant, so plan on eating in your car! I really loved this because, I love to talk to my fiance during my free time, and the car works out well :) . I had a green chile cheese burger combo. I'm from New Mexico, so this really hit the spot for me. How much did I pay... only $11. That's beyond reasonable! I do not understand how this place is rated 5 stars. I would give it less than 1 if I could. If you are looking to wait 30 minutes for a burger and no seating your in luck. But that's not all, the burger tastes like it had been stored in the freezer for months. But there is more, the buns were soggy and stale. Well I come in to Midland about every month for Work and I had tried this place out before but never really reviewed it cause tbh I just didn't want to but life has brought me down a different path and I have decided to share my life eating adventures with whoever reads this post. So I went this time and checked to be sure they took credit cards cause I don't carry cash cause I waste it to fast if it's in my pocket but they do take them. So I ordered a Monster burger ( With Cheese and avocado ), Large Fries, and a large Orchata. All that came out to $26. Which is a lot if I would have ate all that for one sitting but my plan was to eat half ( Which filled me up completely) and then eat the rest later on. So basically it's like 2 meals to me at $13 each. The burger was good. Wasn't the best I've tasted but still was good. Definitely a good spot to hit up if you are craving a burger. Don't ever judge a book by its cover. I found this place via Yelp and the positive reviews seduced my appetite to the point of no return. I put the address in my gps and the closer I got, my excitement grew. The potholes caused the truck to shake like Erma Bakers underarms when she clapped for Jesus at the local Methodist church as I sped back to my office to devour this mammoth sized meal that cost less than a bald hooker on Monday.
