I have been eating at Bob's Better Burger for 30+ years. I attribute my longevity to having consumed so many before I left Midland. I was back and took my partner so she could also enjoy the deliciousness that is Bob's Better Burger. I had a Large Size with cheese side of fries and she just had chili cheese tots. They both were exactly as I remembered them. The people behind the counter were great and hooked us up, there is no real ambiance since it's a drive up. If you're complaining about the credit card fee this place is cash positive. Not everyone in the world has a credit card and if you don't want to pay it go get some cash. If Bob's Better Burger ever caught on fire it would burn for hundreds of thousands of years like Centralia PA because of the deliciousness that is trapped in the walls there. read more

I really wanted to love this place, especially given the great reviews. However, I can't ignore the unsanitary conditions of this establishment. The cashier/food handler had terribly dirty hands and nails, which isn't an ideal sight when passing food to the customers. Upon my food purchase, I witnessed a cockroach run across the floor in the kitchen area....I should have ran then. Nevertheless, I hoped the food would still be safe and delicious. Yet, a few bites into my burger, I see a hair.... Even beyond the unsanitary conditions, the food was just okay. I'd like to say the best part was the price, but I'd rather pay twice the amount elsewhere for hairless food and a "grade A" in the window. read more

The lady that took our order was super friendly and service was quick. We ordered 2 large cheeseburgers (1/4 pound) a order of fries and a Dr. Pepper. If you want a good old drive in style burger, then this is your place! Just as it has been since I was a kid, and came for their burgers. And it's well worth the money as well. No price gouging here like you will find through out this oil town. The burgers are just greedy enough to be delicious. The burger definitely had that greasy, old fashion taste. It was the large jalapeño, and those jalapeños were a nice kick of flavor as well. Husband had a double meat with cheese and said it was fine. He didn't like that the patties were thin, but I love that style. The fries were just ok. They were crinkle (not my favorite) and had a bit of the deep fried grease taste. Husband had a strawberry milkshake, and I had a chocolate one. They were both good and a little easier to drink than your standard fast food one because it was a little thinner.
