I agree with those that say VieMed has great support initially, but after that, they are awful. It's like trying to reach a specific person at an Indian call center. Absolutely no communication, horrible customer service, and good luck if your machine breaks. I have tried to fix/ replace my C-pap since May of 2025- it is August and still no traction or end in sight. The absolute worst. Insurance paid for my Mother's equipment and they never told us of a copay. We specifically asked. Then a couple months later they billed us. She did not have the money so we told them to pick up the machine. My Mother passed away over a year ago and they are still billing every month. I have provided them with a death certificate and that there is no estate. Yet, every month a bill comes. I have asked them to stop and they have refused. They are just reminding every month of the worst time in my life. I did not have any issues with any other medical provider. Run away from anything to do with Viemed!! read more

Impossible to interact with. I received a CPAP in January and the service was fine. A few months later I started receiving calls to replace the mask, filters, etc. I agreed but nothing was sent. It is now August and I continue to get calls wanting to send me replacement parts but nothing is ever sent. Apparently there is no way to discuss the issue with a supervisor or someone other than a sales person. I've given up on them and have been replacing face mask, etc at Amazon and CVS. If less than 1 star could be given I would have zero stars! My husbands Dr sent over orders on 10/7/25 for CPAP machine and supplies... They did call and say he owes $400.... no ma'am can you get back with insurance, our deductible has been meet... still not response. My husband has reached out numerous times asking since the for supervisor. Not a peep from anyone. I would NOT recommend this company. I rarely leave reviews, but I had to take a moment to recognize Alyssa Comeaux for the outstanding help she gave me. She was incredibly patient and knowledgeable while walking me through all the CPAP mask options, and made what could have been an overwhelming experience feel easy and manageable. Alyssa also took the time to thoroughly explain how to care for the machine, walked me through all the necessary forms, and even made scheduling with the sleep coach feel effortless. I never felt rushed, and she explained everything in such great detail, and it genuinely made a difference in how well I'm sleeping now. Honestly, I think she deserves a big raise. The problem is their are too many hands in one account. Too many people having access to edit , update etc our acct. We requested ONE manager to handle our acct. We have been sent the same bill many times. We have been charged and charged and charged again. It was my FSA acct who notified us of the double payment. It is also very hard to get a friendly voice in the phone. There is ONE person who I spoke to many times who has went far and beyond her job to help us finally get supplies. I just emailed billing demanding a print out of everything since day one. How this is handled will determine if we choose to order my husbands supplies elsewhere. read more

Can't get supplies. As a hearing impaired woman, I loved the idea of being able to order supplies online. However, I received a threating email telling I had to call a number within 2 days or having my order cancelled. Despite how frustrating using a phone is, I tried calling the number but always directed to voicemail. After leaving many messages, I never actually got to talk to anyone. Very poor Customer Service...I finally got someone to email me and they told me the problem was that they didn't have a record of what kind of machine I had. They provided the machine so I'm pretty sure they had a record of what kind of machine I had. Incredibly poor customer service all the way around. Will be purchasing my supplies from Amazon in the future as I would rather pay for the supplies myself than have to deal with their supply people again. read more

Their communications are awful. 2 weeks from the time my sleep study was concluded and all authorizations were approved, I had to call them because they never reached out to me. Once I did call them, they made me call my insurer and then a different sleep therapy company to find out that the approvals had been granted and there was no reason for me to have called them. Took 5 days to contact everyone and then took VieMed another 3 days to call me back. They then tried to get me to jump through the same hoops again. I refused and they finally agreed to send me the CPAP and supplies. When it arrived it was not the machine my Doctor had ordered but was something which would work in a pinch, however they sent completely the wrong CPAP mask. Different to what was ordered and different to what they told me they were sending. Their so-called specialists are clueless. I know more about the machinery they are providing than they do. They are slow, careless and uncaring. If you ever have a choice, work with anyone except these incompetents. read more

I was with this BS company for over 1year using there INV ventilator started with hospice using there concentrator Cindy told me to put on 10 at night 3 during day / evening hospice took back concentrator had to use viemed concentrator only go up to a 5 thank god we switched insurance.I was completely lied to was never monitored was told by Cindy she could review INV and see how well I was doing all she did was lie to us . Now I sleep so good new noninvasive ventilator with proper settings concentrator now at 3.5 at night don't need on a 5 or a 10 setting trying to force air down my lungs now I see why I was getting so much carbon monoxide gas going to hospital it should never go above a 4 so happy im away from them never checked settings in over 1 year .Stay away get a real respiratory care company that checks every 3 months read more

I can't say I am very impressed with this company or how it handles things. My doctor sent a referral and request to them to replace my airway clearance machine after mjne i had been using for years experienced a failure, and had to be replaced. First it started with this one rep calling to tell me he would "take care of everything" and " not to worry".. then got an endless stream of calls and texts from this person saying they couldnt verify my insurance, even though my coverage is actually pretty much as good as you can get, being my wife and i both work for the same hospital network we receive care at.. so that was suspicious and disconcerting. Then came the list of things I "needed to call my doctor to have put into my chart for them to get approval" (all things thst i needed to chase down on my time during MY work day mind you).. Then got a call from some woman in Harrisburg days later saying she was dropping off the vest to me that day, and I said "are you sure, last i knew the insurance was still pending?" She then replied "well i usually dont get an order to deliver unless all that is processed, so when can you be available? " we were out, so we agreed to 4:pm.. and my family canceled the ENTIRE rest of our Sunday plans so I could be home to receive this. Then after driving home I receive a voicemail from while i was driving that they aren't dropping the vest off, and their manager just informed them the insurance wasn't done.. all I can say about the way this was handled today is that is a really sh*tty way to treat someone. I felt a wave of relief and was anticipating having that vest finally after 3 weeks of not being able to use anything for my treatments. Dangling that in front of me and then canceling due to poor communication is a really crappy thing to do to someone in my position. And it would be a really crappy thing if I were to end up in the hospital due to poor communication and bureaucratic BS at the hands of my insurance company, who is supposed to be looking out for my best interests, and also some DME supplier who cant get there sh*t together. No offense, but these people should literally give this thing to me for free for all the stress and hoops they made me jump through, and then that failed delivery Bullshit. I havr dealt with MANY other DME companies over the course of my 50 years on this planet due to my disability, and this is by FAR the absolute worst! Disorganized and full of empty promises and no clue what it means to be a patient who is dealing with something difficult. Zero empathy and very unprofessional. This is not how you treat people, and especially not people with lifelong disabilities who have selflessly given time from their lives to help others even less fortunate than they are! If I had treated the patients under my care at work in the fashion this company and it's representatives felt was adequate treatment of me, I would expect to be fired! Stay away from this one, you'll end up hospitalized before they get your requested equipment properly organized and delivered to you! read more

Horrible company in my view. I have been in desperate need of a new breathing/BiPap machine. Vie Med understood the urgency of the situation and told me that my device would arrive today. But they lied. Turns out the device won't be here for several more days. These are medical devices that people need in order to live, for goodness sake. They act like they're selling bed spreads. My Smart Vest was delivered to me and fitted as scheduled. I specifically asked for amount I would have to pay for insurance purposes. I was told a hardship form could be filed and not to worry about expenses. My insurance denied the claim for $14,400! Of course they did! I never received a copy of the agreement I signed for the lease. I received a bill for $8200. I called the office as soon as I could and was told the person would talk to their supervisor and call me back. I have not heard back. I also emailed a patient account representative weeks ago and that person has not "followed up" either. I'm totally frustrated and would not use this company again! read more

I am having an awful experience with Viemed! Billing and insurance claims nightmare! They bill your insurance multiple times for the same claim. They bill orders for the same equipment to insurance multiple times with different "service dates". They end up overbilling you, the customer, trying to claim that your insurance denied claims. They have come back 18 months after insurance claims that were settles and are trying to threaten me with collections. I asked for my statements, to include items charged to me, my payment history, and insurance payments and have yet to hear back. If your doctor tries to get you to use Viemed, I strongly encourage you to INSIST on a different supplier. (What more would you expect from a company that had a federal lawsuit for false claims against them?) read more

Not at all satisfied with the shady billing process. Being severely overcharged for my device, and told there's nothing that can be done about it. I don't know how you can justify charging almost double what other suppliers charge for the exact same machine, and charging separately for different components that COME WITH the machine from the manufacturer. This whole experience has left me feeling like I've been taken advantage of. Will definitely not be using this company in the future, and will make sure no one I know uses their services. I can't seem to get a straight answer from anyone as to why the price is so severely inflated. Everyone I've talked to has told me "I don't set the prices, so there's nothing that can be done." This is no way to treat a paying customer. If you decide to use this company for your medical supplies, do not pay a penny until you have an itemized invoice for EVERYTHING you are paying for. Nothing was disclosed to me until after I had paid an almost $700 deposit and received the supplies. I should have asked more questions before agreeing to anything, but hindsight is 20/20.
