Our family has had a great experience at Vienna Kindercare. My daughter previously attended a Kindercare center in another state for almost 2 years and we were nervous about the transition to somewhere new. In almost no time, it was like she had been at Vienna Kindercare from the start - she feels so at home and loves her teachers and friends. We know she is in great hands and having an amazing time everyday. The Director and her staff also have excellent communication and organization. I used to go here when I was 4 and 7. Some of the best days of my life. They would take us on field trips and we even got to make our own pizza at Pizza Hut. We cannot say enough about the positive experience we've had at Kindercare in Vienna, and we would wholeheartedly recommend this facility and the warm, engaging, supportive environment they've fostered. Moreover, numerous members of the core teaching staff have worked at this facility for years, in some cases, 20+ years, offering continuity and consistency that we had not found in other centers. Our son started in the infant room at 6 months with Ms. Uma, who truly served as our guiding light during those early months of new parenthood, and he has deeply bonded with all of his wonderful teachers along the way. Ms. Sharon is our son's current teacher in the two-year-old classroom, and she is, according to him, a "magic teacher." We couldn't agree more. We love checking in on the Kindercare app throughout the day for updates from Ms. Sharon, as we never know what's next! Our son could be outside using binoculars he made as part of an art project, or playing a game to learn his ABCs, or guessing how big a T-Rex's footprint is as part of their dinosaur curriculum. The director, Ms. Virginia, truly treats the students as though they are part of her extended family, greeting each child by name, and oftentimes, our son won't leave for the day without giving her a big hug. Simply put, we believe Kindercare Vienna has consistently provided a safe, happy, engaging environment for our son and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience there. read more

My two years old son started his daycare in Vienna KinderCare in June. He was never separated from us before we sent him to daycare. He was also late in his language development. With three adults at home always trying to attend his needs, my son is quite "spoiled" and has very strong mind. With that been said, we experienced a very difficult time at beginning. He cried at the top of his lungs and kicked hard in the mornings when we dropped him at the daycare. He ate little at meals and refused to drink water all day long. He could not sit still in group circling and classes, and did not want to take his noon naps. He could in a sudden run away from the teachers, screaming and crying with no obvious reasons. Gosh, my little toddler was such a trouble maker at that time! We worried that we might have to take him back from daycare at some point of time if things would not get any better. Fortunately, KinderCare's Director Ms. Amanda and my son's class teachers, Ms. Maria, Ms. Sharon, and Ms. Sushma, did not give up on my son. They showered him with kindness, love, and plenty patience. When the difficult time went by, my son's day care life has blossomed into happiness, laughter from his bottom of heart, and huge taking off in his language development. Yes, my son started picking up and speaking more and more words. He spoke his own name for the first time recently! Now he can sit still and focus in his group circling and classes, enjoying all sorts of wonderful learning programs provided KinderCare Learning Center! We are very glad that my little toddler adjusted to his daycare routines. We appreciate all the great help and efforts from the director and the teachers in Vienna KinderCare Learning Center! read more

I am not one to leave bad reviews, as the few times I had a bad experience, I preferred to discuss with the business and understand the full situation, and most often I leave it as is, and few times I asked for a refund. But this time is quite different! I was looking for a pre-K for my son, and was told by *Vienna Kindercare* that there was one spot available for August 22. I was not looking until September, so was eager to lock it in. I signed up for a virtual tour the next day, Friday at 11am. At 8:30 I got an email (only!) that the tour would be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances. My counter request for a remake tour on Tuesday (any availability) was unanswered after I was offered a tour on Wednesday at 11am. I had to call on Monday to get a next-day availability at 12pm. On Tuesday, 10secs into the tour, I was told that the only spot available was JUST given to a family. When she heard my experience (i.e. that I was ready to enroll and only waiting for a tour that the center cancelled) , she quickly corrected herself and hurriedly asserted that the family was enrolled but until they give a deposit, things still happen and were possible. Seeing I was upset that the spot I was promised was JUST given away --she frantically transferred me to the center Director, who --brace yourself-- said there has been no opening since APRIL. She blamed it on the first person I spoke to, the week before, " while she was away ". [She was back on Friday when I was supposed to have that cancelled tour.]....Given the blattant dishonesty, disregard for how unfair the process was and a deep concern for how easy it was to cover things up, I obviously will not be taking my child there---nor can I recommend it to any mom. We can agree that trust is everything in childcare. for moms who have a great experience there, please please just double check once in a while... read more

While we do not have a ton of experience with day cares in the area, our now toddler has experienced two in her life and this is by far our favorite. The teachers in the infant and toddler room have been nothing short of amazing and do a great job caring for our daughter. Strongly recommend. Our only cons are that the facility appears a bit tired looking, but I believe that's a testament to the center spending funds where it matter most- on their amazing staff. The facility is also always clean. The only other thing I can think of is that it would nice for us to be able to check-in electronically vs via paper. But not a big deal and again would rather funds be spent on personnel. Overall, our first year at the center has been a big success and love seeing our daughter grow and develop through what she's learning there. She truly enjoys going there every day which makes the drop-off a lot easier as a parent. Tuition is competitive and worth every penny. read more

They handle everything (bedding, food, medicine), are amazing loving people and the center feels more like a home. Love the Vienna KinderCare!!!!! Our child loves going there and they adore him! They are under amazing management right now as well. Can't get much better..... read more

My daughter was at Vienna KinderCare for 2 years. She loved her time there and made many friends. She left educated, more mature and ready for Kindergarten. I was pleased with the professional/caring atmosphere and staff. We will both miss everyone there. read more

Excellent staff! We have been using the school age program at the Vienna Kindercare for 3.5 years and love it. We were using the SACC program at Flint Hill for before school care and Kindercare for after school, but recently switched so we now have Kindercare both before and after school for our two boys (6 and 9). I like how they are open until 6:30pm (some other places close at 6), and they pretty much never close due to the snow, so if there happens to be a day where we have to work but school is closed, we can drop them off at Kindercare for the day (for an additional charge) and lunch is included. My boys enjoy playing in the yard out back, and the staff encourages them to get started on their homework, which is helpful. read more

Do not go here. My wife and I put down a deposit in May 2007 for a promised spot in January 2008. We had not heard anything from KinderCare. Three weeks before putting our child there we called to confirm everything. We were told they could not take our child. Anyone in the know understands that it takes months of prescheduling to get your child into daycare. KinderCare told us only 3 weeks before that our child would not be welcome. Keep in mind we called them. They had no intention of calling us. This is the most unconscionable act I have ever seen. Leaving new parents out in the cold only a few weeks before they were supposed to have their child in day care. read more

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Vienna KinderCare. The teachers and staff there have always been amazing, loving and very caring. My son has thrived and learned so much at this school! He knows every one there by name, and loves them all. It has always warmed my heart to see how much he loved being there. There have been times he didn't even want to go home, which I always took as a compliment and assurance that he was receiving the best care and attention he needed. I will be forever thankful for each and every person there, and how they have always gone above and beyond for our family, especially how accommodating and loving they have been in regards to my son's needs and health concerns. We absolutely love the staff at KinderCare! We have a 16 month old son and 4 year old son in the school and they are so happy. We came to KinderCare after our daycare in Vienna closed unexpectedly and they welcomed our family with open arms. My son (4) has been in the phonics program for his age group and I see such an improvement in his letter recognition and excitement to learn! The director's door is always open if you have questions or concerns. I would recommend the center and teachers to anyone looking for a family-oriented atmosphere for their children with a lot of exposure to the outdoors, playtime, and a fun academic program that makes kids excited to learn. read more

This is a wonderful school! We had our infant, 3 and 5 year old here and they loved it. The children learn so much more because the teachers love what they do! Management does an excellent job communicating with the parents and working with the teachers. My only problem is that they have seen a lot of turnover in the office. The director when we first started (I think her name was Debby?) was god-awful...she had this terrible grimace and looked like she'd rather be anywhere but at the school. I almost pulled out when I heard she was leaving and a much more experienced director was coming on board. She was good but also left recently, but I am glad that the Assistant will be stepping up. Shnigda (I think??) is absolutely wonderful...she is always smiling, always interacting with parents and families and if there are issues, she actually fixes them (surprise!) The best classrooms are the twos and threes. Ms. Sharon and Ms. Larisa are invaluable to the center and have been around for a while...that should say something! The building is old and needs updating...it's a pity the corporate headquarters don't do something about it, considering how much we pay for tuition! read more

We have been very happy with KinderCare Vienna. Our oldest child started here in 2011 and now our third is there, currently in the toddler room. It's such a relief to leave your children with an excellent group of caring teachers that you trust. Sure, there has been change over the years and that can be tough but overall it's been a consistent, safe, and clean place for us to leave our precious babies while we go to work. read more
