Best Marriott location wise in Vienna o think- just inside the ring and walking distance to some great sights and shopping and eating areas, with a beautiful city park across the street to boot. The newly renovated M lounge for those with platinum and above is quite nice for drinks and snacks - and the little outdoor rooftop area is lovely in the evenings. The staff were all attentive and wonderful!

This is as five star as it will get. From the moment you walk in you know that the establishment is first class. From the food to the rooms as well as the staff, all were very helpful and friendly The location is just a short walk from the City Center and bus/subway stations. My only complaint was the spa/pool area. They ask that you remain quiet in the area which I understand for the spa area but when there are little children playing in the pool, they are just being kids. Kids will naturally be somewhat loud and playful. They continually made announcements asking people to remain quiet. When designing this they should have separated the spa and pool area. Otherwise, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend the Vienna Marriot to anyone.

I believe the saying is true, "People will travel anywhere for good food." My adventure to Vienna was all [modeling] business but, the love for international dining was in close runnings. Hence the name, modelsEAT. If I wasn't enjoying a meal within the city of Wien (Vienna,) I was enjoying a meal at the hotel whether it was delivered via room service or served at one of the hotels' restaurants. Well, most of my time was spent at the hotel because the client wanted us to get as much rest as possible in between model preparations and rehearsals for the show. Based upon my experience (and despite a few fruitflies in our room) I felt as if I was an A-List celebrity. Room service was amazing! The hotel staff was as professional and welcoming as they could possibly be (despite the minor language barrier.) The cleanliness of this hotel was magnificent. One evening, I witnessed a maintenance man sweeping the leaves off of the hotel's curbside. In addition to this beautiful hotel there's plenty of historic landmarks, restaurants, and shops. Vienna's Marriott Hotel and it's location have so much to offer their guest!

Very nice hotel. Close to many area attractions. The hotel offers free breakfast with the executive room accommodations and access to the MLounge. Worth the extra because the breakfast has an omelet station and buffet of hot and cold, with fresh pastries as well. A variety of coffee and tea.

Great stay! From the champagne (or water) greeting upon checking in to the very friendly and attentive staff. Definitely recommend this hotel if vacationing with family. The breakfast buffet is one of the best I have ever had. Healthy choices like oatmeal and yogurts to more savory choices like croissants, muffins and omelette/pancake bar. The lobby itself is beautiful with its natural light and high ceilings. The kids went swimming one day in the warm pool and we had free water bottles placed in our room everyday by the cleaning staff. Excellent in every way. We were also there the day the concierge lounge re-opened after being closed for 2-yrs due to Covid. The room was beautiful and relaxing. Food selection was amazing and plentiful.

It is next to a Shell gas station and a car dealership, but I felt safe walking to and from the conference. There is also a metro line about a five minute walk from the hotel. I don't know anything about parking there but the breakfast that came with our stay had plenty of food. Sorry I didn't take any pictures. There were two kinds of egg, sausage, cheeses, and cold cuts, cereal, a pancake maker, lots of breads, different kinds of coffees, three juices and a machine where you could make your own fresh carrot and apple juice. The room was clean and just what we needed. The toilet is in its own little room. the shower is in the room with the bedroom however there was a curtain that could be pulled to separate it off. Our room was in a different building than the main hotel and breakfast area. But it was a 15 second Walk in the back. There was a full service bar downstairs, which was pretty lively at night. Plenty of things to choose from there. It was a solid option convenient to the convention center. If I were going to Vienna to sightsee only I would probably not stay there as it is on the opposite side of the river, but it's convenience to the metro station made going into town very simple. Our last day was the day of the Vienna marathon. It was a bit crazy outside our hotel and given we were not there for the marathon it made getting to the metro a little more complicated. However, there is a place to cross the main street underneath the road right by the metro so don't you know that trick you are all set to go.

The general area of the hotel seems a little sketchy, but the hotel itself is quite clean and updated. The rooms are very utilitarian, clearly geared toward a younger population that are satisfied with just the basics. Unlike our other scheduled hotels on our rail tour, this was the only hotel that charged guests for breakfast (and not a small sum at 23 €). I passed on this opportunity and bought my breakfast in town and on the train after my departure the final morning. The check in was self-service, which seems a little impersonal to me, but the bright side was we were able to check in before 1:00 pm. Staff that issued our room cards were friendly and answered our questions about the local tram. There was a free area to get water, so we used it to fill our travel bottles in the never ending battle to stay hydrated following nights of mulled wine. That was a feature none of our other hotels had, so this was a big plus. This hotel is definitely worth considering, just don't expect any luxury touches.

When we went there, they showed two different rates, one for double and one for twin. Since we were only staying 4-5 hours in the room, we decided not to pay the extra €15+tax. Next morning went for breakfast and told it wasn't included and we had to shell out another €26. So what did I already pay all the money for? They refused that our room came with breakfast and that we could pony up or get lost. So we left. Some specifics below: Rooms: Smelly (like poop); No safe in the room; no coffee service In the room; really small rooms. Summary, Super Basic and smelly. Location: Good if you want to be at the Hauptbahnhof, but not so good if you want to be in the City Center, I.e. Stephansplatz area Service: Willing to provide extra blankets, but that's it. However, not willing to give an inch of extra service when they could. Would rather the guests suffer in the darkness of online bookings then to make it a pleasant experience. Overall: Bad room, ok location, and basically a smelly costly situation with no amenities for over $135. Shell a little extra money and live in a better hotel.

As it happened, our first night was in Vienna at the Austria Trend Hotel Savoyen. When we opened the door to see a King bed as well as a large couch and coffee table plus a nice desk with an adequate number of plugs to charge "devices", we knew we were being spoiled - by "our" standards in the States. This was my first time in Europe, but the shower took a little experimenting to figure out (but it wasn't too hard). The A/C cooled quite well; nice since it was warm when we arrived. Other hotels on our trip had no A/C at all; there we simply opened the window to let the cool air in. The Front Desk staff were friendly and helpful. Andrea in particular was able to help get my iPhone and WiFi only iPad set up on the hotel's free WiFi. Since we were stay-ing 2 nights, this was a big help. They were also pleasant when I had to break large Euros - they had run out of 5 Euro bills because others were needing change, but he was still pleasant. The bed was so comfortable that it was quite easy to fall asleep, even though keeping the room cool was not as easy. Something new to us was the lack of a "flat sheet", we had one heavy comforter. Still, a decent night's sleep. Oh, the breakfast, or Frühstück, was incredible. So many choices of different foods. Everything from fresh cut fruit and 5-6 varieties of yogurt to pastries, breads, bacon and eggs, sausage links, many choices of coffee and juices. I could go on, but I was well pleased with the breakfast. The breakfast was quite delicious with the numerous options. To clarify, back in the States, some of our hotels do provide a very decent "Continental Breakfast". Over here, though - this is a different Continent and we had a far better Breakfast. Overall, we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay - helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and excellent Frühstück. If you're coming to Vienna, you will be quite pleased when you stay here.

I suppose it's the price you pay for getting a crappy hotel and needing to change last minute. But at that moment, I just wanted a decent room and without any drama. I checked in just after midnight, coming in exhausted. The lobby is modern and with lots of lighting. I could tell that this was a fairly newly renovated hotel. The concierge, without me asking or prompting, upgraded me to a king room suite with executive lounge access. Yes, it's price I probably would've paid had I booked in advance weeks prior, but it was nice of the concierge to do this. The hotel didn't have to do it. The suite was clean and roomy. I had such a lovely time during my stay there. While it's got that modern sterile look, the bathroom is spacious, with shower and bathtub. There's even a small bathroom in the living/sitting room area with a television, couch, and minibar. The bed was comfortable and clean. I had a wonderful view of the city. The executive lounge is bright, clean, and decently-sized. There's a library which serves as a more private area. There's also a patio outside with a decent view. Breakfast has elements of English and continental. The eggs and breakfast proteins were hot. There are extensive coffee/hot drink machines and also a soft drink fridge. During off hours, there are snacks, spa water, and soft drinks available. I had the "happy hour" food once, which consisted of French onion soup, caprese salad, and "Asian inspired chicken nuggets". The nugget wasn't all that great but the soup hit the spot. Overall, this was an enjoyable perk. You're close to a U-bahn station and just over the bridge is the Inter Stadt. The hotel is near lots of restaurants and a variety of stores. Yet it's really quiet in the hotel. Overall, I cannot complain about my stay and the service was excellent throughout.
