Dr. Prasad has kept all of these in outstanding condition for over a decade. He is equipped with state-of-the-art diagnostic technology and, more importantly, he is incredibly thorough and genuinely caring. I never feel rushed during my visits -- he always takes the time to listen and provide thoughtful care, never treating me like just another patient. Thank you, Dr. Prasad, and your entire team for your outstanding care and dedication!

I commented to Dr. P that I had to wait 2 hours. At this, Dr. P, not only got defensive, but I felt, personally insulted. I did not make an untrue statement. He was 2 hours late. I did have my eyes dilated, but had waited prior to this and after until I was seen. At this, he told me I was"Mean". I wasn't mean, I was honest as I pointed out, but he couldn't let it go. I apologized again as I realized he was taking this so personally, even telling me he has told his children not to become doctors due to people like me. Weird. At this, I apologized again for my statement of saying he was late and he went off on a tangent of "having done good surgery on me", yes he did. Cataract surgery. However this had nothing to do with being late. He said I couldn't say something like this and expect an apology was acceptable. He looked at my chart and said I had been coming to him since 2021. He could not drop this. He is a good doctor, however has run late consistently. I will be changing opthomologist as It was if I was at that point speaking to a spoiled child, not a professional doctor.

I cannot recommend Dr. Lim highly enough!!! 17 thumbs up!!!…read more She is a miracle worker. I was the biggest scaredy cat about getting my cataract surgery done. I have been wearing glasses since the third grade and I am extremely near-sighted. One of my biggest fears is losing my sight. Dr. Lim made me feel extremely confident about getting the surgery. She explained the surgery in detail and she offered excellent advice about the right type of cataract lenses for me. The surgery itself was extremely quick and painless. I felt like I was at a Laserium show at a planetarium and not in an operating room. There are a number of follow-up appointments scheduled for the day and week after surgery. Both Dr. Chan and Dr. Zhang were caring, knowledgeable, and friendly at these follow-up appointments. The Walnut Creek office staff is also wonderful, friendly, and efficient. Being the nervous Nelly that I am, I did call them more than a few times with my worries. I am now seeing 20/15 out of my distance eye. I can read 4 point type out of my reading eye. I feel I should be on a lecture tour, wearing a Super Hero cape to match my new bionic eyes, touting the wonders of cataract surgery with Dr. Lim. The only regret I have is enduring blurry and dimming vision for a year because I put off my cataract surgery because I was so scared. If you need cataract surgery, make an appointment with Dr. Mira Lim!!! You will be so happy you did. It was the BEST DECISION I have ever made in my life.

She is a one in a million genius eye surgeon with a manner so unassuming and a hand that is so calm and self assured, you pray that she is there whenever you go under the knife. Period! Her specialty is corneal implants. She loves what she does and she loves to give the miracle of perfect sight to her patients. I'm 77 now and one day after the surgeries my eyes tested 20/20 & 20/24. Three year later they still test the same. I'm so grateful to her! It is not surprising to me that she worked with Dr Vastine, the Errol Flynn of eye surgeons. And she was referred to me by Dr Litwin, one of the best. Don't even think about it. Get on her waiting list today.

Our employee arrived for his scheduled appointment today, but his necessary translator did not arrive. When I called to resolve the issue and suggested reaching out to the insurance carrier to see if there was a coordination mix-up, the representative, Shana, became extremely aggressive and rude on the phone. Instead of providing the customer support we needed, she claimed there was no one available in the entire building who spoke Spanish. Throughout the call, she refused to let me get a word in. When I politely asked for her supervisor's name, she completely bypassed my question and hung up on me, refusing to provide any management contact information. I called back immediately and was connected with Brandy, who was very kind, professional, and helpful. She was able to provide the name of the supervisor, Denise Kurt. While I appreciate Brandy's excellent assistance in a stressful situation, the behavior exhibited by Shana is completely unacceptable for a professional medical office handling sensitive worker accounts. Management needs to address Shana's conduct and communication immediately

I needed this appointment ASAP since my eyesight was so bad and deteriorating. I had an appointment yesterday, January 2, 2025, where I met with Dr. Geoffrey Rodriguez and his assistant for my eye exam. Both were truly amazing and provided good care. However, I will mention that the assistant forgot to put on my form that she dilated my eyes. When I went to check out, they wanted me to come back in six months for eye dilation, I told her I already received it, but she said no I did not because it was not on my form. The receptionist went to talk to the assistant to confirm that it was dilated! Watch out for this if you get your eyes dilated here! I want to give special recognition to Yarely Ledesma, one of the front desk, receptionist. She went above and beyond with her exceptional patience, care, attentiveness, and hard work. She promptly answered all my emails and tirelessly handled my requests, including sending faxes to help me secure an appointment with the Neuro-Ophthalmology team at Stanford Byers Eye Institute. Thank you, Yarely, for your dedication and all the effort you put in to make this happen. I truly appreciate everything you've done for me!

Bay Retina Center has been treating me for the past six months. I had to go for a follow up check up today. Wow I was super impressed. They are taking utmost precautions and following very strict protocols for their patients' safety. There is very very very limited close contact. The outside doors are propped open, and there was no one in the waiting room. Every employee/doctor is careful. You are required to wear a mask in order to be admitted. They take your temperature upon arrival and limit talking . Dr. Lee only talks when he's 6 feet apart from the patient. They constantly sanitize the examination rooms and are being ultra cautious. I haven't felt that safe in a long time. If you are a patient here do not delay seeing them for important follow ups. You will be well taken care of in super sanitized surroundings!
