Most recently, Felicia has presented us as liars, for the second time, to the school, only to be disproven (again) and has now gone as far as to make a false claim in an email to the principle that I own a fake Facebook profile used to "disparage" her company. Being a local business owner, this latter point has crossed a line. Felicia is known to complain about everyone under the sun on Facebook and I have no doubt I've been affected. I would hire a lawyer for defamation, but it is unlikely such an offense would warrant enough money for a lawyer to get involved. This ongoing rift stems back to the beginning of the 2017 school year. Our son's 4th grade portrait and class photo prints were the color blue and visibly altered to the point of looking like goo. I have a photography background and understood the problems to be the result of an unchecked automated editing process or lack of quality control. Both are simple problems to correct. I began attempting to contact Felicia in November 2017 via email and phone to address the issues and received no reply. This continued through May 2018 and was accidentally brought to the previous principle's attention when I received an email from the school about an upcoming photo day and mistakenly replied to him rather than the photographer. I let the issue go for the summer. Fast forward to January 2019 and the PCA request for 5th grade yearbook photos. As we had not been shown our son's photo, I was concerned. Apparently you only get to see the photos if you pay in advance (this is an outdated practice). Given the fact that over a year later, the 4th grade picture issue had still not been addressed, we were not about to give any money to this company. In a heated series of emails (PCA members included) we were accused by Felicia of lying about paying for the 4th grade photos. We immediately disproved this by digging up a copy of the cashed check. By March 2019 I had had enough. Up to this point I had refrained from saying anything on social media, but now resorted to the threat of going public with our story on Facebook and other platforms. Felicia's response was to involve the principle and attempt to generate sympathy. My wife spoke briefly to him about this and was told we would finally get our photos. Success. We received the photos in May 2019. 18 months late. We moved on. Our daughter started kindergarten this year and problems have started again. We did not receive our daughter's photo despite leaving a check in the school office as requested. In an email to the new principle, Felicia again called us liars about paying and accused me, in writing, of using a fake Facebook profile to "disparaged" her. This is a baseless, defaming claim that I am very angry about. But given the number of other parents with their own horrible Felicia experiences, I am not surprised to hear it. After more angry emails, we finally received our daughters picture, but no class picture. And despite being told not to contact me twice, Felicia continues to include me in emails sent to my wife and the principle whom she has only shared a skewed version of why I am so "mean" to her. I could go on and on, but there is a problem here that is not being addressed. For 3 grades now we have been unable to share school photos with grandparents at the holidays. Our kids went without school photos on the fridge. No parents should be treated this way. School photos are supposed to bring back good memories. Not this. Why Photography by Felicia continues to be hired at Sea Cliff Elementary I do not understand. Her pattern of lies and incompetence is unacceptable and any other school would have hired a more professional company by now. The thought of having to deal with her for another 5 grades makes me nauseous.

Ironic, isn't it? *eye roll* Yes, it did take me a while to make a decision and provide him with my video song choice, which I did apologize for. And yes, I did take a while to write this review, and that was mainly because I wanted to have my wedding video in hand before I did; I knew he would be the kind of person to hold it hostage for a bad review. To say that I wrote a bad review and lied about my entire experience because of a $10 shipping charge is ludicrous, nonsensical and a sad attempt at trying to cover up my bad experience. So, to reiterate, yes, he was belligerent and rude with me during my wedding when I asked him to take more pictures. And no, taking 10 clicks of the same type of photo in the same/similar pose does not equal "unique" shots. Also, we set up ALL of our own family/friends shots, he just happened to click the camera after all the work was done. Sudeep did try to contact me recently to ask about my review, but I never contacted him back for the same reason I hadn't contacted him right after my wedding to tell him I was upset--my wedding is over and unfortunately there is nothing anyone can do to capture the lost moments. I figured I would save myself the agitation rather than hash it out with him, what's the point?

I am so…read morehappy I went with her instead of one of the other more mentioned photographers (like the overpriced Jenerations!) I did a boudoir shoot for my fiance recently as a wedding gift. The moment I met Susan at her studio, I knew I wanted to book her. She has the most amazing personality. She is down to earth, friendly, and sweet. I loved her right off the bat - which is super important when you're about to be almost naked in front of someone! First off, the fact that she has a studio was super attractive to me. So many boudoir photographers have to either shoot you in your house, or you have to rent a hotel room. I live with my fiance, so I could not have a photographer traipsing through my apartment, and a nice hotel (nice enough to appear in pictures at least) can be expensive! Her studio is a large and beautiful place. She has vintage pieces of furniture, vanities, beds, sofas, different lights, and the most adorable changing area. In the changing area, she has some props, shoes, and outfits, if you need something extra. Throughout the shoot Susan is encouraging and directing you. She plays whatever kind of music you like, and she actually gets into the poses for you. She will do anything to get the perfect shot - there were times she was on the ground, on a ladder, she was like spider woman!! The shoot went amazing!!! I cannot state emphatically enough how fantastic she is. She actually left the studio while the make up artist she commissioned for me did my hair and make up, and brought back water and fruit. I had a marathon shoot, and she never complained and just continued to be cheerful and encouraging throughout the entire process. We reviewed my photos via internet and phone, and it was quick and simple. I had such a wonderful time that I can definitely see using her for family photography (in the not so distant future, lol!), and I'm recommending her to all of my friends. This was definitely my longest "good review", but definitely well deserved, use Susan for boudoir, family, and child photography. She is worth every cent :-)
