[August 2025] My brother, cousin and I made reservations in advance to our visit to Branson, so we were very much looking forward to our wave to go. It was a seamless process for checking in, purchasing a camera (you cannot bring your own) and going up the tower in the elevator and meeting the staff at the top. The staff explained everything to us and made sure we were safely strapped in. It was a great run and the staff waiting at the bottom made sure you stopped properly and ensured each person quickly leaves to keep the lines moving. I was worried I operated the camera incorrectly so when I checked the video link, I was so happy that despite myself "pausing" the video, it still captured my entire flight. My daughter and I rode this when we were in the Branson area last month and we had a great experience. We went first thing in the morning so it wasn't super busy yet. After we got called up to the observation deck, it took about 20 minutes to get called to go to the zipline. The guy working was really nice and talked us through everything. The guys at the end of the zipline were really cool too. The ride itself was really fun. It lasted about a minute and you go really fast and the views are really great. Instead of hanging like you would on a traditional zipline, you sit in a big harness, which IMO kind of takes a bit of the fun out of it. It felt a lot less 'dangerous'. But it was fun to try once. Probably wouldn't do it again but would recommend it to others. read more

We rode the coaster here. This was the best one of all! It is awesome at night. It is the longest and fastest outdoor coaster. Our whole family rode and enjoyed it immensely!! read more

I never had any issues with the staff. They were extremely nice and helpful. They helped us take some pictures before we went. I went a little while ago but it was straightforward on buying tickets then going to the top. Cost was slightly pricey. Great views especially in the fall. Plenty of parking. read more

The ride itself is short but fun. Beautiful views. The staff on the platform and the guy at the bottom' (Blake?) were great! Friendly, informative, fun. The woman at check-in has a lot to be desired. Poor communicator, poor listener, unfriendly. I'm not sure why someone with such poor customer service skills would be the first person a business would want customers to meet. We only waited about 10 minutes for our turn. One more comment: one of the women at the top was clearly training but maybe don't say "I don't know what I'm doing" when securing someone's harness - my 16 year old niece was less than thrilled with that comment. Luckily, another woman double checked all of our harnesses and corrected some errors. Please make sure they are properly trained AND understand what comments should/should not be made in front of guests. read more

The ride was fun. They had history in the observatory before you got on the ride. There were no pictures taken. The staff was friendly.

Girls working are rude, guy was nice out on the platform. Absolutely no communication. Long wait times both at the top of the tower and after the zip line while waiting on a truck to take you back. So.much.wasted.time. Definitely do not recommend. The actual zip line ride was mid at best. read more

Poorly operated and maintained. Not worth the money for a 50 second slide. We had an 11am appointment and waited in the HOT observation tower for an hour with no communication from staff before our party of 4 was split up. I do not recommend this place. read more

This was done directly with shepherd of the hills at their ticket counter. the lady was rude. We had 8 people & she said we had to split the group into 2 time slots because they ran 6 at a time so 2 people would be going with another group. so, ok. we scheduled at 1 for the 2:40 & 3 slots that were next available. we were told to be ready at 2:20 for them to call us in for instructions. at 1:30 we went up to the observation tower to watch and wait. at 2 I went down and checked with the lady because I hadnt received my confirming email. She said we were in the system & not to worry about the email they would call us in the tower when it was our turn. at 2:30 I went down again, she showed me our reservations in the system. I asked her how they were scheduling because only 2 people were going at a time so were they running behind or what. she didnt know how they were sending people as it depended on how people wanted to go. and to go back up and wait -they would call our names. at 3:00 a group of 12 people went- they said they were scheduled for 3:00! I went back down again - she told me they booked someone else because we hadnt checked in with her yet that we were there! - well after a unpleasant conversation we finally got to go about 4 The zipline itself was awesome - would have rode it again had it not been such a hassle read more

We went with our Boy Scout trip to try something fun and exciting. It was a great experience but was expecting a bit more. It was worth doing and would recommend it but it is very short. We also did the ropes course and we that was very fun. read more

Worst experience ever. Do not go there. We paid for two reservation times and after an hour and a half never got called. The girls that work here are so freaking rude it's ridiculous. The guy upstairs is nice. That's the only decent part. The upstairs observation deck is extremely hot. So after that long I asked for a refund. Let's hop I get that. read more

If the person I was with enjoyed this kind of thing, I'd have gone again for sure. I thought it was great, soaring over the trees, better than parasailing. I think it's $30 the first time and $15 to go again. You also get to enjoy the 360 view from so high up in the tower. There are many ziplines around Branson and St. Louis, but this one is special. It's pretty handicap-friendly for what it is, which made it perfect for me. No climbing up a tree ladder, holding yourself up, or braking yourself. You just sit down, buckle up, and go! Springs on the lines halt you at the end, and you stand up on the ground from there. A glass-sided elevator takes you to the top, and there is a tram included to bring you back to the start where you parked. The observation tower is at 230 FT, then you walk down a flight to zipline at 170 FT. It reaches up to 50 MPH, so it's a pretty quick ride, over before you know it. Definitely under a minute. But it's a thrilling minute. As most places, they take photos of your ride to sell you. You can get two pictures in a cardboard holder for $30 I think, or you can spend more for a USB stick of all the photos. I think they only had one person taking pictures, so there aren't a lot to choose from of just you, since four people go at once. You can crop them later, but the ones that are further away would be too pixelated to crop well. Also, the photos were taken from one side of the four riders. So the photos of my husband came out perfect, head on, but the ones of me were awkward and from the side. A couple automated cameras taking near-constant photos and even video would be an improvement, I think. Since it's movement-based, I think a video would be even better. I would give this a negative rating if I could. We made a reservation at 1PM and planned the rest of our day accordingly. We got called up to do the zip line and then we were told we had to go back to the waiting room and wait for a large group of students to go before us pushing our turn back over an hour. They completely disregarded our reservation time and basically told us tough luck. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

Arrived early enough to get checked in BUT because their system had been down and someone was on break (causing one worker to deal with many people) y the time said worker checked us in...it was 2 minutes past the time! This experience was for my 2 sons and one of them was very hesitant. We spoke with Jeff, and he explained the process and experience crystal clear. Both my boys were on it 15 minutes later and both couldn't wait for round 2. My scaredy cat son said it was so awesome, he couldn't wait to go a second time, to just really take it all in. The things used to strap you in and zip lines themselves are absolutely safe and the whole experience was very professionally done. The "Vigilante Extreme ZipRider" zip line ride was one heck of a ride! Starting at the top of the 180 foot "Inspiration Tower" observation platform, you're strapped securely into a seat-harness. A gate in front of you flies open and off you go down a cable that's about a half-mile long! You start out slowly, then quickly gain speed up to 50 mph. The wind is deafening. The view of the Ozark hills is stunning. Soon, your landing destination comes into view and grows bigger as you get closer. A coil spring catches your harness and trolley and you come to a swinging halt. What a rush! Definitely recommend the "Vigilante Extreme" while visiting Branson.
