All he did was spray some pesticides and barely covered any ground. Bed bugs are a very different pest from any other pest you'll deal with, and he accomplished absolutely nothing for us today. I work remote and planned on working at a coffee shop today, and wasted my time planning around the appointment because we were informed that we would need to vacate our apartment while they did work around our house. So much for that! I would have expected at least SOME effort to inspect our apartment and maybe try and look around for where they might be. Nope! Barely even lifted a finger. His colleague stood outside the house the entire time, and Gary wasn't even willing to touch the mattress. I had to pull it out for him. What kind of exterminator is afraid of getting their hands dirty? It's your job to find bugs and exterminate them. At least pretend you're trying dude. Before he came, he had us empty all of our dressers and put our clothes in airtight bins. I'll admit, that's good advice, but that's something you'd probably read online before dumping money and time on someone like this. So yeah, thanks for regurgitating obvious information to me. This guy didn't even bother looking into any dressers or closely inspect any of our beds. He made absolutely no effort on his part. I ended up finding more bed bugs myself after thoroughly inspecting my roomate's room, and putting actual effort into making sure that we dealt with them the best way we could for the meantime. If you are reading this and you've discovered bed bugs in an early stage and it's not a big infestation yet, I highly recommend that you watch Mark Rober's bed bug video and follow it religiously. Buy bed bug traps for your bed, encase your bed in a high quality bed mattress cover, apply diatomaceous earth powder in a thin layer around your room (please wear a N95 mask and do your best not to inhale any of it), etc. Follow everything in that video before your bed bug problem becomes an infestation. Please watch that video. It will do you justice. If you caught your bed bug problem too late, you'll need a professional. In other words, not this guy. He might have good reviews for other pests, but he has absolutely no idea what he's doing in regards to bed bugs. He's afraid of them. He ain't gonna help you. Thanks for nothing, I'm sure whatever my landlord paid you was worth it.

Next day, YJ were having a party and did not appear like they wanted to leave. I found Family Termite & Pest Control on Yelp the next day. What caught my attention is that the company does not have you sign any contracts, they come and take care of things that you ask them to take care of. I left a message on Yelp and received a response from Gary in fairly short timeframe. He was at my door steps the following morning and took care of the problem. That same evening, I did not see a single YJ. Gary took care of the problem in quick and effective manner. Price was also very reasonable. I will definitely consider FT&PC for any future pest needs.

Around May 18th, I saw a mouse in my 2nd bedroom. Beaver Hill had Joe come on the 22nd. At that time, I told him I believed the mouse was trapped in my second bedroom and asked him to set some snap traps. I did not watch him; I just assumed he would do that. I noticed he only put a glue trap in my bedroom and one in the living room and with NO BAIT. I asked him to bait the traps. After he left, I noticed he had only put one black triangle box trap in the room where I had seen the mouse. I called the office and specifically asked him to come back and set a few snap traps, which I prefer. He came on the 29th and literally argued with me, telling me that I do not have a mouse. He made me upset and he finally set up a tunnel in each room with snap traps. Once again, I let him do his job and assumed he would do it correctly. After he left, I looked at the tunnel in the bedroom where I had seen the mouse and the traps were not baited. I was furious. What's with this guy? I called Viking, I believe in Glenside and complained about Joe to Joel. I emailed my management office and told them that I saw a mouse. I do not know where the mouse went. He may come back. I do not understand what his issue is with setting a few baited snap traps to give me peace of mind. That is literally what Viking gets paid for. I AM THE CUSTOMER! Joe is not welcome at my home ever again. He was a jerk. Beaver Hill has closed the work order. This is all unacceptable service, and I have given you a Yelp review as such. Dive bombing in my backyard while fighting each other to death. And eating holes into the side of my house. Three of these mf's even had the nerve to fly into my house and buzz around in my bedroom. Enough was enough at that point. I called Linda and she very kindly set me up for an appointment within 48 hours. Alex came out, assessed the situation, and went to WORK. I told him that I'm not one of these animal/pest lovers. That I wanted these things to suffer for the hell they've brought upon me and my family's inability to enjoy a BBQ without ducking and dodging their constant advances. Alex said say no more. He told me all about the spray that would keep these bumblebee wannabes from continuing to use the wood of my house as their own personal hive. A spray that would directly affect their central nervous system and at worst, repel them to someone else's house, and at best, kill them dead. He sprayed all over the roof and side of my house. Such a beautiful sight to see. Even more beautiful is when my son ran up to me saying "dad, look, dead bees!"
