I contacted BJ at Viking when my well went down. BJ didn't have a service appt available, but stayed on the phone with me and walked me through troubleshooting and attempted to help us get things up and running. Greatly appreciate the help, I have never done business with them and he certainly wasn't obligated to spend so much time helping me. Unfortunately we couldn't get it running and they made an appt for me for today to replace my pump. We live on a 4 home well system in Surprise, AZ and early on Saturday morning we were without water. Our prior service company has gone out of business and we were calling everyone around for a recommendation when we found viking on a google search. We had called others and either got a voicemail or they were to busy to help us until next week. BJ at Viking answered and also didn't have anyone available, but he took the time while juggling other calls to work with me over the phone, text and sending pictures to him, he even sent me a short video to work from and in a short time our system was back up and running. Third time using this company and each time has been stellar! First was an install of an above ground water storage tank and pump. Second was replacement of my pump when it failed after years of use. And late last night (after hours on a Friday night), when my pump was chattering and blowing my breaker, BJ took the time to walk us through step by step by phone what needed to be done to restore water flow to my home. I first initially called for someone to come and check my well cause my pump wasn't cycling on and had no water. Upon calling I tried to inform the person I was talking to (I'm pretty sure was the owner) on what was going on and what was working and what wasn't. And I'm no expert with wells and don't know all the names for parts or the lingo. But when I explained it to the best of my abilities I was belittled and shortly laughed at cause my knowledge wasn't up to his standards obviously. And then when my pump decided to fix itself and work I called and informed them I wouldn't need the service immediately the following morning at their opening time. I called the night prior around 5 or 6PM for service. The following morning at 6 AM I called to cancel. At that time I was told "I can't do this and cancel" "How dare I do this cause I have ruined all their plans for the rest of the day" "why didn't I call or text to inform so he can plan accordingly". My initial response to the last comment was I called when you opened and couldn't call last night cause it was after hours. Their hours are 6-6. And supposedly it's MY fault that I didn't know the number for the company is his personal phone that could receive texts. This company was horrible from start to finish and I never even had service done with them. But what I'm finding out about these pump companies is they are older generation men that spit on the people who don't understand well systems or can't explain it to them properly. Wouldn't recommend to ANYONE due to the way he wanted to speak to me. Oh and after he bitched me out and I hung up he sent me a text trying to plead his case on his angry and to apologize. BJ and his team are honest and very knowledgeable. They took time to correctly diagnose and provide a solution to my well problem. I especially liked the fact that he took the time to explain all my options and provide me with expedited service. My well stopped working on a Friday morning. BJ could have easily put off the repair till Monday, BUT he didn't want one of his customers without water over the weekend.
