He was the only one willing to help me out on super short notice, driving all the way from other side of town knowing that my issue was super urgent. He was able to diagnose the problem right away, helped me shut off the irrigation water to stop the flooding and gave me the best quote to fix my irrigation the very next morning. He could've taken advantage of my urgent situation, but instead he provided the most professional, cost-efficient and high-quality solution with integrity, kindness and generosity. After the work was done, he even offered to help check my Goodman AC unit as I recall hearing abnormally loud noise from it that's gives the jump scares every time it starts. He was spot on & identified that there might be issue with the capacitor. He's also specialized in HVAC repair & plumbing, so I'm very thankful he checked + tested my capacitor to discover that it was indeed way below the standard voltage & in timely need of replacement before causing more harm to the compressor! Again he provided a super generous quote to help me install/replace the needed parts, checked my indoor furnace to make sure everything running good there, and even helped me wash the outdoor AC unit to make sure it's well-maintained. Now my AC runs like new! No more jump scares & unit starts buttery smooth. He didn't offer to do anything that was not needed and just provided honest solutions that saved me from massive charges and headaches. It is truly so rare to find such an amazing, honest, and reliable professional like Roy. I'm beyond thankful for his incredible character and craftsmanship. The "fellow" whose name I don't recall was recommended by Gerry Schneider, a personal friend of ours. The "fellow" came immediately and had it fixed so quickly I was in shock.....but so grateful indeed!! I have been searching for who it was that I wrote check to, I finally remembered to look in my check book and I just found your name Arizona Irrigation Co.! Anyway, I may need your services again.....I might have another emergency as I was just out in my backyard at 3am and saw lots of water once again across my backyard....will find out more when we have daylight!! So they were supposed to come open our irrigation at the beginning of May, because it is vital that new sod gets alot of water, but they never showed up. so we called and their excuse for missing our appointment was "we are too busy, next week" very rude. Click" no bye nothing. So that was it I called the company they are contracted through for irrigation HUNTER IRRIGATION and told them and they were mortified when I told a manager. Luckily my wife saw a trailer with a company called VIP IRRIGATION, so we called them at 5pm expecting them to say minimum a couple of days, but by 7pm they were at our house fixing everything. They told us they were going to go home for the day, but after hearing what happened to us they couldn't just go home, how nice is that, now that is customer service! SO BEWARE IF THEY ARE THAT BAD AT SOMETHING SO TRIVIAL AS OPENING A IRRIGATION SYSTEM (WHICH THEY CHARGE MUCH MORE THEN VIP TO DO) IMAGINE WHAT THEY WILL DO WITH LANDSCAPING, I KNOW ONE THING, I WOULD NEVER TRUST A COMPANY THAT RUDE AND WITH SUCH BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! I received quotes for work to be done on 2 properties. Not a huge job ($3000) but a solid variety of tasks that allowed me to see if this is an experienced company that can do the jobs well and reliably (installing ceiling fans, bathroom exhaust fans, weather-stripping exterior doors, tightening a few loose toilets). They said that it would take 4 days to complete our job. So I waited 3 weeks until they could scheduled us in. At the end of the 4 days, this was what was completed: 1 ceiling fan installed in a bedroom. Nothing else. 4 days to install a ceiling fan? The injury to insult was the total lack of communication from the office. Not one single email, text or phone call after I left multiple messages as to what the status of our job was. We had tenants moving in the following week so I sent an detailed email to cancel and explained what went so terribly wrong with this job. No reply. Just an invoice for the 1 ceiling fan. I found a different handyman who singlehandedly completed the entire scope of work in 2 days! without complaint or fanfare and $840 cheaper. He is now my go-to guy for all my repairs and remodeling jobs.
