Dr Brar and his office are very unprofessional. My husband drove 50 minutes for an appointment only to be told Dr Brar was out sick and he needed to reschedule. My husband started his 50 minute drive the following week for the make up appointment and was told AGAIN that Dr Brar will be out sick for the rest of the week. Why on earth can't the front office call in advance!?! In addition to blatantly missing and not rescheduling appointments in advance, looks like Dr Brar may not have sealed my husband's crowns properly after doing two root canals. There is something seriously wrong with this DDS and his office. They need to go back to school for the basics on how to run a business. read more

If you didn't wanna work at a dentist that doesn't pay you enough then don't work there. both were very rude and it was not a very welcoming experience. you can't ask them questions or they'll start getting personal having an attitude. definitely do not recommend. #horrible read more

So...I'm torn. He is a great endodontist BUT his office is horrible! I could barely sit in his waiting room. It's the dirtiest medical office I have ever been to. His exam room had dust bunnies everywhere. I felt extremely uncomfortable having him examine me in such a dirty environment. I'm thankful I didn't need a procedure. I don't think I could have agreed to do it at his office. I'm surprised the health department doesn't have an issue with this place. read more

Today is Friday and I am finally free from pain after a week of constant, radiating. throbbing aching pain from a molar gone bad located in my lower jaw... My dentist in Turlock referred me. Thank God. Here's some of what I loved & appreciated today about my experience: +Appointment available +The private parking lot area was clean, free from debris & beautifully manicured & well maintained. +Everyone was polite, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly +The office was immaculately clean & peaceful. I LOVE the quiet. +Fee's for what my mouth required; fair without gouging +The skill of the doctor; is outstanding! He hurt me not once and didn't hold back from ensuring the pain medication injections were sufficient prior to beginning the root canal. +Dr. Brar took into consideration the medications I take with no shaming. +The "test" to identify which tooth was causing me all the nerve pain; was painfully uncomfortable YET super-swift because he knows how painful it is and doesn't want to cause undue suffering. +He & she, the awesomely skilled and empathic hygienist, worked beautifully together; mutual respect was present and they were in sync. This was awesome. She prepared me from the start as to what to expect which included her verbal explanations as to what was going to occur next; step by step even during the procedure. This calmed me greatly. + CARE Credit - They accept it & it is a fantastic legitimate method for me for funding medical needs and so much more. + I felt safe, appreciated, and understood by Dr. Brar and his super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful dental assistant. Decades ago, as an adult, I had just one root canal in Stockton by someone from hell and it was the most painful, humiliating, insensitive, traumatic, and miserable treatment I have had to date. I experienced none of this here at Valley Endodontics. Prior to today, this was the first time in this Modesto dental endodontic office. I received a polite telephone call yesterday from the office with an available morning appointment today; I jumped at it because the unhappy nerves in my mouth were making existence very uncomfortable & unbearable. I do not have employer-sponsored dental insurance so I fund my own dental plan through Delta Dental and have for going on 3 years now & they accept it. The out-of-pocket was about 50% less than the total fees for today which included a complete root canal. I was ecstatic and pleasantly surprised. I received the estimate for the root canal for one molar prior to the procedure today and was able to use my loved and appreciated; Care Credit Mastercard as they accept it plus because the purchase was greater than $200, I qualified for 6 months of interest-free. I have had my Care Credit card going on for 3 years now and I LOVE IT! It also recently began offering "points"; another benefit for me. It works at my veterinarian, in Tracy, CA, and ER Veterinarian Hospital in Turlock, CA, and depending on your provider can even fund some cosmetic dentistry; it's a lifesaver. I am comfortable referring people in need of this provider's dental services with zero qualms. I was super satisfied today & still am over 10 hours after the root canal was completed and now at 24+ hours after the procedure; I'm still pain-free (no more Tylenol needed) and can eat and drink all temperatures with zero pain. read more

I 100% recommend this Dr and his staff. I had a root canal on Saturday. From my consultation, the Dr and staff took the time to explain everything to me about the procedure. That meant a lot. Also, I am in a wheelchair, and just learning to do transfers with my walker. I was concerned about doing a transfer to the dental chair. I voiced my concerns to The Dr and his assistant. This was the worst experience in my life, he was rough, and unbeknownst to me he broke a brush off in one of the roots and left an infection in the other 2. He didn't tell me 3 yrs later I had to have another root canal on the same tooth and found all that out. I ended up having to have the tooth removed because of the very bad work I had done by him!!! I would never recommended him to anybody not even my enemy! The worst experience I have EVER HAD. run far away from here.. After inspecting my tooth with his microscope he determined that my tooth was not salvageable and it would be best to have my tooth pulled. I am so thankful from time to time run into people in the medical profession as I did recently. Vikram Brar, D. D. S, M. S. D of Valley Endodontist proves that there are honest ones who use their conscious. He had got paid to do work on my teeth, I unfortunately grinded my teeth to the gum with technology he could see it. He could have just did root canal and filled it and let dentist cap it knowing it would not work.. But instead he stopped working filled it back where he had been grinding and said. I'm So sorry It isn't going to work. You need plates or implants. I will refund all of your money. I'm not even charging you for the work I did. And still have his expert opinion and wrote a lengthy report to W.D. what would be better for my case. My husband had already paid for the work to be done. Dentistry is pricy. No hesitation. "Refund her Everything" No one does that anymore. Especially during pandemic work is scarce for everyone. Dr. Brar and his assistant (I believe her name was Andrea) were wonderful. I went in to finish a root canal that another dentist had started but had accidentally broken a file in. The dr was super friendly,explained all my options and their pros and cons and let me choose how to proceed. Through out the procedure his assistant explained every thing the dr was doing which made it a very stress-free process and they both checked in frequently to make sure I was doing okay. So I haven't been to the dentist in a loooooong time and for the past 6 months or so I have been dealing with the pain of a broken molar. Decided to finally get it checked out by an area dentist. Had to be on antibiotics for a week, while experiencing the worst pain I have ever experienced - worse than childbirth. Anyway - was very nervous and anxious about having a root canal and made sure the other dentist knew this but he didn't seen to pay too much attention to my fear. After about 2 hours into the root canal he stopped and suggested that I go somewhere that offers sedation. Even though he said they could have given me something b4 my appt for my nerves. Little late to tell me that then. Anyway - was referred to Dr. Brar for a consult the next day and to finish the root canal the day after that - today. Totally different experience with Dr. Brar! It was almost a pleasant experience which is a lot coming from me. Less that an hour/hour and a half he was done. All endodontist a do are root canals and Dr. Brar is the best! He gave me a prescription for a sleeping pill to take 1 the night before and 1 an hour before my appt. and he was so gentle and quick. Definitely go to him if you need a root canal. read more

The worst dentist I've ever seen. I was referred to Valley Endo by another dentist who is probably a quack. My experience was horrible after waiting for 1 hour while in the dental chair DR. Brar spent another 30 minutes socializing with a personal visitor. The purpose for my visit was a root canal. Dr Brar finally started with the injections to numb my gums, all bad he has a very heavy hand so it was a lot more painful than usual. after 4 or 5 injections he started drilling but I was still felt pain. After several attempts Dr. Brar stopped the procedure and recommended that he prescribe a pill that will made me more relaxed. I cancelled my return appointment and got a second opinion. The second opinion dentist took x-ray's which showed that I did not need a rood canal. I would have been out $1100 without a second opinion. read more

I was referred to Dr. Brar by my general dentist for a root canal. Dr. Brar was very thorough and determined that another tooth was complicating the diagnosis. He had me schedule an appointment with my dentist so I could go directly there for followup when he was through. Bottom line is that he discovered a condition that had been missed by 2 other dentists and did both root canals to resolve the problem. Office staff is very pleasant and I was able to get an appointment promptly. Dr. Brar limits the number of patients per day so there is no rush. And in spite of the complicated nature of the procedure...... No pain. If I need further endodontist treatment I will definitely go back to Dr. Brar. read more
