So far, it's been an amazing experience here at this Villa del Palmar location. Friendly staff, very kind and welcoming. The hotel is nice and clean. Awesome views from the room, from the beach, and from the vast area around the resort. About 7 different pools, 2 high end restaurants (1 more under construction), another good restaurant for the breakfast, lunch and dinner buffets. Food so far has been delicious. Tonight was Mexican night, tomorrow night it's all about sea food! Lots of activity opportunities. This is meant to be a relaxed environment. No insane crazy all night party resort. Won a free all inclusive trip here from work and had an amazing and relaxing time. Very welcoming the moment we arrived. Our room wasn't ready when we arrived but they were able to store our luggage safely for us and brought it directly to our room once it was ready. We stayed during the weekday so it was not busy at all. I love that you can rent paddles boards & kayaks on the beach as part of your all inclusive. We were also able to book a last minute boat ride + lunch with the dolphins. The beach wasn't tropical but the water was still nice & not too cold. I did prefer hanging out near the pools in the resort rather than the beach though - I think because coming from Vegas, I was getting more lake vibes from the beach. As for food, there were very few restaurants to choose from which I felt all pretty much served the same thing. One of the dinners was a Fiesta night where they put on a nice show and they have a variety of more authentic foods to choose from like tamales, tacos, pozole, menudo, and so much more. On our last night we did dine at their fine dining restaurant called Danzante. This restaurant wasn't part of the all inclusive but the food was delicious. I think it was worth the little extra money to spend and a great way to end the last night. Overall I enjoyed our stay. Staying in Loreto was definitely a much different vibe than when we've done an all inclusive in Tulum. I feel like Loreto is more family friendly so if I do come back, it will most definitely be a family trip. read more

Just returned from 6 days at Villa del Palmar Danzante Bay Baja California, south of the Loreto airport. We joined a group of friends from the neighborhood who have been going to this Resort for a number of trips. All Inclusive Package is a few bucks but well worth it. Food and drink was superior. Almost anything your heart desires is on the menu at the 4 restaurants. The really fancy restaurant "Danzante" has a per person uncharge of about $20 a person. Really superior daily menu. Beach bar and small "restaurant" actually makes food choice #5 and has very good "mini' menu" choices. Several pools with poolside drink and food ordering has staff who come by to take your orders and deliver to you at poolside. Rooms and views are very nice. Great Golf course I understand from my golfing buddies. We are looking forward to our next visit to Villa del Palmar at Danzante Bay. read more

So to preface this review, I had the winning bid on a one week stay at Villa del Palmar benefiting the Boys and Girls Club. This resort is a time share resort. The unit that we stayed in was a donated week from a member. Overall, we enjoyed our time. We didn't leave the resort at all, as we needed a week to recoup and my husband also worked part time during our trip. We felt very welcomed. There was a special concierge desk for check in. We added three nights of the all inclusive package (we did a la carte otherwise). We were then ushered off to an "activities presentation" which was really just a gear up for booking us a time share presentation. Let me get one thing clear: We are not time share people, nor will we ever be. The incentive of additional resort credit was pretty tempting and the margaritas they were serving us were decently strong. Our room was really nice, albeit a bit dark. It had a huge gated patio which you could access the pool. The kitchen was okay for a week's stay but we weren't planning on cooking. Overall, very comfortable. The pools: nice temperature for October. A few too many kids for my liking (what are you gonna do?). Drinks were extremely watered down and service was spotty at times. The restaurants: I'll try and do some separate reviews but the crux of it were that the two main restaurants were great and the buffet was quite bad. Service: 5/5 stars. Very friendly and accommodating. Vibe: pleasant except A LOT (tons) of construction going on around the resort so pretty noisy. The client base were pretty chill. Not upscale but not low brow either. There's a market onsite to buy most things. Some which were really expensive, some were reasonable. My biggest complaint was the timeshare presentation. Absolutely NOT worth it. Super high pressure sales. Made us feel like we were being cheap and missing out. They tried every trick in the book. My advice: always tell these people that you don't make decisions on the spot without discussing privately. This seemed to really piss them off. The shuttle service to and from the resort was pretty pricey, but unless you're renting a car, there really aren't any other options. The views of the ocean and terrain around the property are absolutely gorgeous. Bottomline: this is a great resort if you're not looking for the nonstop wild party vibe of Cancun or other resort town. It's really chill. Avoid the timeshare and the buffet. read more

The concierge manager, Margareta, lied to get us to take a sales tour. She promised comped spa massages and said they would be charged to the room and then. taken off at check out. And at the end when we were checking out they said no- there's no evidence of this and she, by phone, said she only promised a promo. They are lying and it makes me very sad. I went as part of a group celebrating a 50th birthday during April to Villa Del Palmer in Loretto, Mexico. The weather was perfect at that time of year and we thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The hotel is a number of minutes away from the airport, but has a designated station within the airport itself at arrivals so was very easy to get transferred to the hotel. It is an all inclusive resort and worth it. If you are with a group of people like I was whom can eat, drink and be merry, all inclusive is the way to go. My boyfriend and a I had a one bedroom suite with a huge patio a gorgeous Living room set up, a functional kitchen, a big Jacuzzi bathtub in the bathroom in the bedroom and excellent air conditioning and fans. All inclusive means basic alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks as well as up to three meals a day and includes all snacks and food at the pool as well as 24 hour room service. The bed was comfortable, the water in the shower and tub was hot and strong, the room was clean, we were able to keep it at the temperature we wanted to From room to room. It is on Danzante Bay, which is a gorgeous inlet and they offer free paddleboard and kayak usage. You have to be careful because it is a stingray magnet and we did see someoneget stung. The pools were clean, the Jacuzzis hot, and the Service was occasionally forgetful but overall satisfying. The golf course is definitely a more advanced golf course and stunningly beautiful. I went to the spa for a massage and it does have very nice amenities which you can access an hour before your treatment and my treatment was satisfying as well. This is not a kid free resort and they do offer timeshare so you will come across families and Floaties in some of the pools. For the family focused group, there are kid activities and a specified kid pool as well. Overall, I recommend this resort and would definitely go back again. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would! Let me start by saying we are actual owners with this timeshare (Cabo location), not only is everything grossly overpriced with this establishment, but they have ACTUAL pornography showing on the programs at night. When I complained, they apologized and blamed the cable provider, but 3 days later, I flipped through the channels when I was going to bed and found the same channel still playing pornography. Again I called to say the issue had not been rectified, and they only apologized, but made no attempt to accommodate us in any way for the inappropriate content. It played on every tv we had (3), including my daughter's room. Their suggestion was to unplug the tvs. Wow, just wow. Rudulfo (spelling?) kept insisting it wasn't their fault and they would provide no comps for ruining days of our trip. The fact that you don't monitor the content on the programs you allow is your fault! How did I get roped into a timeshare that apparently promotes hedonism and swinging?? I was so disgusted with their lack of accountability. They also charge $16 a day for tips even though we did not do the all inclusive. They just added it to our rooms. We paid by credit card for every meal and they automatically added tip to those meals as well. WTH?? We also decided to do the beach bbq buffet. They never displayed anywhere the price and when we got our bill, we assumed it would be around $35-$40 a person since someone had said the breakfast buffet was $35. When we got our bill, for the 4 of us, it was $300 plus drinks (alcohol and non alcohol) were a separate cost. Forget the fact that they even gave our 14 year old daughter one with alcohol the first time she ordered, but throughout our stay, they charged the same amount for my daughter's smoothie, at EVERY meal, as they did an alcoholic drink. That doesn't even make any sense. When I questioned it, they always act like they don't understand. Everything is in Spanish though, so if you don't realize the tip line is in ADDITION to the already added tip, then you are getting blindsided. Also, the main pool is in poor condition. Broken tiles everywhere, so while walking in it, you had to be cautious that you didn't tear up your feet. There were other issues as well, but I'll have to add to my review later. We have been members here for 8 years. Each year the service gets worse and worse. We are here for a week and every night our confirmed dinner reservations have been changed on us. We have even gone into the restaurants day before reservation, to confirm. Then when we do come in, we find they have changed the time. Very upsetting. We had 5 couples with us who were interested in joining, but have decided against it after seeing how they operate! read more

The Night Sky needs help here! I've visited 4-5 times now and love this place starting with the local environment where the Baja desert meets a tropical sea. I'll skip reviewing the facilities and dining. There's one thing that could easily be improved and that's the lighting. The downlighting of the pathways is excellent, but there are a few stray overly bright lights in the nearby village, on the sea wall at the stairs, and at the beach restaurant plus elsewhere that really damage the dark sky and impede the view of the stars, which otherwise would be excellent in a location like this. They even have Star-Gazing talks right in sight of three of these light trespassers which needlessly shine horizontally, ruining people's night vision. They've got a great opportunity to show off a night sky few people ever get to see, but are mucking it up with their own light pollution. Please please please make some improvements. The ideal would be to make a designated dark sky observing site, accessible by walking, probably on the golf course or somewhere nearby where a dark sky can allow the glory of the heavens to show. Few people get to see a truly dark sky like you find in Baja with it's lack of cities and clear desert air. Please let us see it! read more

At the public access entry point via google maps, I was denied entry by an employee initially and eventually allow to pass after they imposed illegal restrictions on my beach access. Once on the beach, another one of their employees tried to tell me to leave and only after protesting that I had legal right to be there did he then say I could walk the beach but couldn't hike to punta dazante. Everything and everyone is amazing. Staff that stand out include Dylan, he delivers food for the servers throughout the day around the pool. God he works hard and smiles the whole time. Came with friends for a long weekend and had a great time. This is about 45 min drive from the airport, so we ended up staying on the premises for the duration of the trip. We got a suite which had a kitchen and living room which made it very convenient. The view from. The room was amazing and the balcony was spacious. The beds were comfortable. Showers were small, but the tub was a good size. The facility was big and well kept. Food was about a 3 star bur service was always slow. I only give 2 stars because the food, accommodations, and service staff are top-notch. The resort as a whole is great, and if you're buying a timeshare or have a pet that travels with you, stay away. The resort says they are pet friendly, but they are not at all. The sales team lied straight to our faces and stated that we would be allowed to bring our pets anywhere except the pool deck and inside the air-conditioned portion of the restaurants. Stating that the outside seating of the restaurants we would be allowed to dine with our 7lb Morkie. This was an attempt to sway us to buy the timeshare that we were attending at the time. We chose not to buy because the staff seemed to be just telling us what we wanted to hear. As soon as we left there was no change for our pet. The restaurant management became more aggressive and at one time told my wife, after staff sat us and we had food on the table, if she didn't leave immediately she would be required to remove the dog herself. I'm proud of my wife for not getting physical, had I been there I would have loved to see what would have happened if she tried. I would like to highlight the wonderful things about this property and its service staff. The service staff is incredible, the location is gorgeous, the rooms are comfortable, the food and drinks are delightful. It is a very quiet and secluded area that is perfect for a relaxing vacation. The golf course is serene and the 17th hole has a breathtaking view at sunrise. My only advice to anyone who visits this property is to skip the timeshare presentation and just enjoy everything else the property has to offer. If you plan on skipping the timeshare presentation, there is no need to continue reading. If not, I implore you to read about my experience at this property. Upon arrival to the property, we were greeted by concierge Nubia Carrillo. It should be noted that the concierge staff will promise you anything to sign you up for the timeshare presentation in order to meet their quota. In exchange for a "90 minute presentation", she promised us 2 free Swedish massages and a 1 hour hydro therapy session at the spa, along with a complementary breakfast. As it seemed worth our while we took her on her word. The timeshare presentation lasted 4 hours and after using our "free" spa trip we were charged 4100 pesos (around $200). After addressing the matter with Nubia she claimed she never said they were free. We were quite frustrated after Nubia's lie so we spoke with the concierge manager, Edwin. Edwin was completely unwilling to help and oddly hostile to us as guests of the property. My only reason for giving this property such a low rating is the dishonesty of Nubia and the unwillingness of Edwin to assist in any way. It just does not feel good to be scammed/conned/lied to by anyone. I would have no problem paying for any services rendered, but to say something is free and then be required to pay for it is absolutely dishonest and a terrible way to conduct business. Further, we witnessed and were first to report to a staff member, a woman's attempt to commit suicide by jumping off the the 5th floor balcony. Edwin was also quite dismissive of the fact we were traumatized by witnessing a woman's attempt to take her own life at the property and refuted our claims of reporting the attempted suicide, which I believed to be extremely strange after witnessing firsthand several security staff save the woman from jumping. Instead of apologizing or empathizing in any way he simply ended with "well we couldn't control that." Further upon checkout, I noticed that the timeshare salesman Edward, tried to charge our "complementary" breakfast to our room (about $90). Of course I had this charge removed, but this kind of dishonesty and scam-like action by the concierge/timeshare staff left an incredibly bad taste in our mouths. If you visit this property skip the timeshare presentation, regardless of what they promise you. You will enjoy your stay infinitely more. To the service staff, you all make this place incredible and your guest service is admirable. Nubia and Edwin could serve themselves well by taking a page out out of your book. read more

First I'll start with the positives... It's a beautiful location, with beautiful scenery all around. Really nice to take a walk on the beach without a hundred other people. We had a 1 bedroom unit (timeshare) with 2 guestrooms (one on each side). Rooms were very spacious and jacuzzi tub was a nice extra. Housekeepers were terrific!! Most of the workers here were super friendly. Now the negatives... Way to far from downtown (30 mins) on two lane highway that was pretty deserted and dark at night. We didn't do the all inclusive because we aren't keen on resort food/buffets normally, but in the end we ended up eating there more often because of the driving. The Italian place was probably the best with several gf options. We went fishing and brought our fish back to be cooked (not impressed with seasonings) and they charged us $20 per person ($100) for our own fish with a small plate of rice, veggies and tortillas. Really bland food at most of the restaurants and surprisingly no mexican restaurant. My husband and son wanted to play golf, but 9 holes only and they would not allow that at a lower price(and this was a week after reseeding). I wanted to take a family picture at the 17th hole and there was a tour at noon when it's hot, but I wanted to do it earlier and they would not make any exceptions to just take golf carts for 15 mins. When checking in they asked if we wanted to upgrade our rooms to an ocean view or purchase the all inclusive $130 per person per day which would have been $650 per day. The food options were not worth that amount and in addition there were extra charges for the all inclusive. Some weird things at the restaurants too like at the Clubhouse we ordered a cherry jubilee and it was served over melted strawberry ice cream or at Danzante women can wear flip flops, but men can't. Our room already had a semi ocean view so I feel that they are just trying anything to be able to charge you more. The pools are in need of desperate repairs (tiles missing all over). None of the rooms have an oven (microwave is not convection either), only electric stoves, old school toasters, blender, regular style coffee pot (not keurig), dishwasher with hard to get pods. Oh and the speed bumps just trying to get to the resort from the unpaved road wasn't fun. read more

It's in a remote location and the only game in town so you have to take a shuttle which will cost you at least $100. Once you're there let the raping begin. When I booked this resort, it looks gorgeous. And I thought there would be many other resorts, hotels, motels, or inns around the area, I was so wrong. There were nothing, only ocean and mountains. It is really amazing. Very quiet at night, we can even see the stars twinkling at night when there are no clouds. The beach is very nice, we are able to kayak and paddle board. The sea is very shallow, and luckily during our stays, it is also very calm. During low tide, we can even walk to the other side of the beach. We are able to see some anemones, starfish, fishes, crabs and some other sea lives that I have no other what they are. We took a golf cart tour, went up to the 17th hole, the view was spectacular and breath taking. We also went hiking and the view was also "WOW". The resort itself is great, they have plenty of pools. Too bad the kids club does not have enough games and/or activities. The 1 bedroom suite is clean and tidy, we wake up to the view of the pool and ocean, it is amazing. However, the wifi isn't that great, very weak signal when in the room. There are only 3 restaurants to choose from, only 1 for breakfast, 1 for fine dining and 2 for lunch. Their foods are great, it is always fresh and appetizing. 1 of the restaurant always have dinner and show, we watch the lion king, cats and Mexican night. The kids love it, the adults enjoy them too. Overall, it is a very decent family resort. I will definitely recommend to family and friends that are looking for a place to relax and enjoy the amazing view of ocean and mountains. read more

We stayed at the Villa del Palmar Loreto for 8 days in March 2025. It was brought to our attention from a friend who was going on a time-share promotion discounted deal. We have no interest in time-share, but they constantly entice you into going to one of their promotional "presentations". Though remote being 30 miles S of Loreto and no other businesses or services nearby, it is a beautiful location with several, some expensive, activities to do. You could hardly expect a more beautiful golf course - Danzante Bay TPC, right next to the resort. They don't tell you ahead of time exactly what type of room they are allowing you to stay in. So that's disconcerting. Turns out the room was one of "their nicest rooms". Was on the 6th floor at the "ocean-view" end of the building, very spacious deck w a hot tub. It had a nice view of the tops of the resorts palm trees and if you looked off to the side you could see some of the "ocean-view" bay. But the main view towards the "ocean" (Sea of Courtez) was the back end of the beach front building right square in front of you. It was disappointing to look right into the back side of the next building blocking most of the true "ocean view". Virtually all of the staff both at the resort and the golf course are very friendly and accommodating. But not all. A couple are unapologetically a little "too big for their britches". The only place to sit at a "bar" for a drink at the resort is at the buffet bar. If you do you're among all the buffet goers constantly going by and its not a very fully stocked bar. The two restaurants have better drink selections. The steak house and an Italian Casa Mia. You can sit at a "bar" at Casa Mia, but its next to the kitchen. Where the actual bar is, they have no barstools and its a main isle for everyone to walk through. The two of us had gone to the steak house our first two nights and were pleased. While waiting for our table, both nights, the host (not the hostess) allowed us to sit at the end of the bar, where there were only 3 barstools. Apparently the "bar" at this property is meant as a workstation, not a guest lounge or gathering or seating place to sit and have a drink at. The bartender (Victoria) was very kind and accommodating and she took our drink orders as soon as she got the chance. And the drinks were good. The third evening the four of us had eaten at Casa Mia. After dinner we went over to the steakhouse for a "nightcap" drink and to listen to the excellent guitar player there. The hostess (who is the same one there most every night) asked if we had a reservation - "no we would just like to have a drink at the bar and listen to the guitar musician". She promptly said ..."we are too busy for that and you will just have to wait!" - turned around and walked off. Glad we didn't ask for soup! And they removed all the barstools from the bar. The other person that acted like he "owned the place" was Joe at the golf course club house. All the other staff at the golf course and club house were very humble, respectful and accommodating. When they weren't there and Joe covered to make a drink, it didn't really matter what you had ordered, he makes it his way and you'll take it or leave it. Not the kind of service or respect, especially the steak house hostess that the others there offered. Which pretty much ruined being there for us and left us feeling doubtful for wanting to return. read more

Don't be fooled. This hotel is in the middle of nowhere, winding dirt road to get to the resort. No other restaurants nearby so you'll be forced to eat at the hotel or drive back into Loreto (45 min drive). The hotel only allows guests to enter even if you make a reservation at the spa, they will rudely turn you away. They have a daily guest list of people they will allow in, printed out. If you're not on the list they will hold you for 15 mins. I even made sure to confirm if I would be able to access the spa without being a hotel guest, Daniela G. Informed me I could. However, I was not on the list even with my reservation I had made weeks in advance. I was still turned away. I'm guessing because I was paying for the 25 min massage, ($80 usd) I was not worth their time. She said it's because I arrived at the gate at 10:55am and was too late for my 11:00am appointment and it was not worth it for them. If I had been on the list like I should have been, security wouldn't have held me up for 15 mins. Ended up returning to Nopoló and booked a 50 min full body massage at Spa Las Flores for $50 usd. This property is beautiful. We went to celebrate my husbands 50th bday and I was blown away at the natural beauty that surrounds the property. The food was good the drinks and service are amazing. There's lots of construction going on so be prepared to do a little 4x4 on the way in. It's about 30 minutes from Loreto. You can do a day trip into town and I thought that was plenty. Take a Panga tour to Coronado Island, it's beautiful. Also if you plan on using the concierge use the concierge on the property. The pre arrival concierge almost ruined some fishing and dinner reservations. Thank god the hotel staff is so accommodating and caring. Hotel is super clean. Staff is super nice! The beach shack has the most decent food. Overpriced spa massages even for a resort. Timeshare presentation was painful. When the sales person who was assigned to us realized we weren't going to buy, he suddenly stopped being attentive and literally just walked away from the sales table. There's a second guy you get sent to once they can get you at the front end. He was practically begging us to buy a 2k or 3k package. Reminded me of used car salespeople. Quite Pathetic. read more

The place is now virtually deserted - with very few guests - making this either an idea place to "get away" (and "hide out" on your own) OR a place you might not enjoy as much as other options, depending on your own needs and preferences. There are still daily outdoor (group) activities and evening shows scheduled - but hardly any guests to enjoy them. Not all (island) tours are currently available, but other land and water excursions off property are still possible. Visits to different local towns with historical missions, ATV desert tours, and sunset sailing currently seem more popular than fishing, SCUBA/snorkeling, or riding horses. The resort spa, gym, and golf course are all open, as are swimming pools, beaches, hiking trails, and restaurants. Golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking, and stand-up paddle boarding are popular, as is yoga, aqua aerobics, and just sitting around in the sun. Water (in the ocean and most of the pools) is cool. Some mornings and evenings can be quite windy. Temperatures are cooler here than in Los Cabos - and are more similar to Southern (Alta) California. Due to ongoing construction on both the highway and hotel, expect there to be random disruptions - like traffic being blocked, electricity shut off, and elevators out of order - plus sounds of workmen; so come with an accepting appreciative attitude - or you will likely be disappointed and unhappy, as also seem to be quite a few who agreed to attend "90 minute" (timeshare) sales presentations. The concierges receive commissions for "prospecting", so expect them to try to schedule your attending a "presentation" (often in exchange for a discount on something you might express any interest in). Food at the restaurants is quite good - but prices are as high or often higher than those in the U.S. - and this is even more true regarding prices at the mini market. Unless you are a heavy drinker, it is usually cheaper for most people to pay as you go than to go "all inclusive" (especially since it's not - and some items or occasions still require paying). Most of the staff is fairly friendly, but few seem to go out of their way to make a positive impression. A roadrunner sometimes likes to visit the (main) pool area; unfortunately, so also do flies. Turkey vultures often fill the skies - and jelly fish the bay. Free WiFi is available without having to sign in. TV programming is fairly limited and often repetitive. There is no radio reception. ok got to the hotel and checked in the hotel was almost empty, we asked can we have a ocean view room ,the guy said you have a pool view ,we said ok ,before we walked away he said hold on minute ,and removed our key tags and gave us a new room tag ,after getting to the room ,they put us in room backside of the hotel looking at the side hill ,and walls of the building . i was shocked .the next day we went to complain they moved us .to front building ,much better . 1. hotel is out in middle of nowhere 2.hotel it self is beautiful 3.plenty of swimming pools to choose from 4. all people at hotel are great people and very freindly 5. the beach is beautiful 6. very large area room for everone cons 1. place to eat basically two resturants to choose from 2. alot of buffet meals offered hours limited . the number one worst thing is the palmia market the prices were totaly off the charts 1. small bag popcorn 12.00 dollars one bottom water and small ice tee 9.00 dollars i can go on and on but since you have know were else to go they know they can charge what ever the want ,i understand things are little inflated .but the prices of everything in market was off the charts sad hotel lets they rip people off like that . read more

The resort was amazing. Staff were great, except Xai, the connoisseur. She insisted so much for my boyfriend to get a speech on his membership that she made us feel uncomfortable. Bernardo another connoisseur was awesome, super nice and and attentive to clients needs. Julio, the trolly driver was really nice. He explained to us about the resort and how it was made. He made us feel welcomed. I think he should get a bonus because he has a lot of knowledge. I won't give this resort a five star only because some connoisseurs insist so much on giving clients a speech about memberships. read more

We just spent New Years week there. Very relaxing location and beautiful stars. Housekeeping is amazing. The food is pretty average, and we had a very bad experience at the signature Danzante restaurant- it's way over-priced and we had to wait an hour just to get our salads, never mind our entrees. Staff was flat out rude. I would skip that restaurant and try the Golf club restaurant instead. read more

This place was awesome. We went on a promotional deal. We did not purchase the time share because I just didn't really understand it. But man was the staff amazing. Everybody was so nice. Our vacation started off horribly with Karla in reception. She was difficult and unaccommodating. She messed up the suite we book and the only option she gave us was to upgrade and pay an extra 1/3 the price. She told us that there weren't studios with king beds, which we found out later was a lie because our friends had one. This resort is advertised as an all inclusive, but they nickel and dime you the entire time. They expect tips everywhere, which is emphasized the moment you walk in. Stayed here with some friends for 4 days, 3 nights. The resort grounds are beautiful.. If you're someone who likes to just sit and relax all day on the beach or at the pool this place is definitely for you... In regards to food, I wasn't impressed with the market buffet food but the other restaurant casa was pretty good. Staff here are nice but at times seemed annoyed when serving us. 3 out of 10 of us got sick/food poisoning so beware of what you choose to eat too. Overall It was a good experience coming here but not great. I also got charged more money when I got back to the states then when I left the resort. read more

I would have given 5 but I came a cross with Juan Carlos Montaño, a very despot, arrogant, and poor customer service skills employee. He treated the other co-workers very poorly as well as myself. I do want to make it clear that we TRULY ENJOYED AND LOVED the resort, the hike, the open house, the club, the kayak, the food, the beach party with live music , and mostly the treatment from ALL OTHER employees except for the nasty Juan Carlos... we will definitely return hoping not to see him ever again, but we had so much fun!!! After home schooling grandkids for 18 months because of Covid, it was a nice break to get away. Husband wanted to go fishing. This resort is in Dazanti Bay. It's is beautiful. The weather is warm but there is always a breeze. There is live entertainment in the evenings. We loved the breakfast buffet in The Market. There is a different theme for the evening buffets. Mia Casa in an Italian restaurant. Great food there too. This is family friendly. There are 5 pools and most are shallow enough for kids to play All staff are very friendly.
