This is a review about a company with a good product, but one who is losing customers because of poor customer service. Brian is a customer facing employee, working the counter and helping with orders. Brian was so rude to us on three separate occasions that during our last visit the other salesperson apologized for his behavior. Brian has been such an appalling person in his attitude and the way he handles situations that everyone needs to know not to do business with him, or Delaware Valley Plumbing Supply and West End Hardware as long as he is there. Over the years we have purchased tens of thousands of dollars worth of products here and we have been loyal customers when we could have purchased elsewhere for less. We have purchased faucets, fixtures, shower heads, sinks, toilets, valves, hardware and more. Given this, you would have expected better customer service. We are not the only ones who have had a poor experience with Brian, just read some of the other reviews. We do not recommend this business and will not return as long as Brian is there. The customer experience you provide will ultimately determine your success... right now you are failing us and others.

He advised me to order all the door hardware for a new home before an upcoming price increase. Moreover, he takes all the hardware products and labels them to match the room/door. My contractor had never seen such attention to detail and organization. Finally, there were some very minor problems that were resolved promptly by Brian after the sale was more or less done. His relationships with the manufacturers and personal expertise are invaluable. I trust him completely!

After selecting our remnant, we were rushed into choosing our templates prior to the installation the following day. When I noticed a spot marked with a green X, I was assured it was a small hole that would be filled with epoxy and we would never notice it. We moved forward based on that assurance. When the counters were installed, we found 10 to 15 visibly mismatched epoxy repairs and a noticeable scratch. The one repair I had specifically asked about was the worst of all. A technician came out the following week, acknowledged the repairs didn't match, and admitted our salesperson should have disclosed them -- but suggested most predated Colonial's purchase of the stone, meaning we were sold a heavily repaired remnant with zero disclosure. What followed has been four months of inexcusable customer service. I called 3 to 5 times per week and almost never heard back. When I finally reached Wendy in management on April 2, 2026, she was unaware of key details and said she'd follow up with the service department. It is now June 1, 2026, and I have not received a single callback since. I want to be fair: the counters themselves are beautiful, and every service technician who came to our home was professional and exceptional. This is purely a failure of customer service at the management level. We live 45 minutes away and have busy lives, but we are now left with no choice but to drive there in person just to find someone willing to speak with us. We were prepared to give Colonial more of our business. Instead, we have been ignored for months over an issue that -- at least in part -- was clearly their responsibility. The lack of basic decency in returning a customer's call is something I never expected from a professional company. I would urge anyone considering Colonial Marble & Granite to think carefully before trusting them with a significant purchase.

I thought that was impressive because it's so hard to find good customer service now adays. When we finally decided we wanted help, we were lucky enough to get Sandon. He was the nicest guy! As he talked, we found out that he was a retired contractor and has been in the business for quite a few years. He helped match up some flooring and counter tops for us with the prices from our measurements. He also gave us valuable advice about different materials to use. We weren't ready to buy just yet, but I would definitely go back to Floor and Decor when we are. They also have free designers that can help you. You need to make an appointment for this. You can also buy a tile or two if you want to take it home to see it in your space and return it for a full refund. I must say i loved the selection and the friendly customer service and would definitely go back when we are ready to buy!
