The employee named Maria was extremely rude--especially toward elderly customers. I witnessed her speaking to an older customer in a very dismissive and impatient tone, which was uncomfortable to watch. On top of that, she gave me incorrect information about a prescription pickup, which ended up wasting a lot of time. When I came back later, another employee cleared things up in just a few minutes, so it was obvious that Maria either didn't want to help or simply didn't take the time to check. It's disappointing to see that kind of attitude at a place people rely on for their health and medication. I hope management addresses this, because CVS usually provides much better service than this.

Never once explained what I could do to help my back strengthen or heal. Told me to lift my legs 15 times each lol. No information on how you strengthen my arms or upper body or back. It's my opinion all they want is to collect the money. When I told them of my complaints they asked if they could out and discharge me. I will be contacting my insurance company to make sure they are aware and don't pay them for a service I didn't get. I check my blood pressure every morning I don't need to have someone waste an hour of my life every week to do that. Please do yourself a favor and get a qualified aftercare.

I went into the ED yesterday afternoon for chest discomfort being that I have past cardiac issues. Upon my arrival and the staff being notified about the chest discomfort I was told to wait in the waiting area until they have someone available for vitals etc. I waiting about 40 or so minutes just for vitals and an EKG. I was then sent out to wait an hour or more to be taken to a room next to the nurses station. While there, they put on the vitals cuff and pulse ox but didn't even bother to have me connected to the leads / monitor. Their Accredited Chest Pain Center must not be from the ED at all and another part of the facility. While waiting another few hours for blood work or even be seen by a physician I noticed employees (unsure if RNs, PCTs, etc) just chatting away and eating at the nurses station. I saw about 3 nurses doing all the work and honestly felt bad for them. After a couple more hours of waiting, I decided I would leave AMA and follow up with my cardiologist and another medical facility. I definitely wouldn't recommend this medical facility to anyone at all. I understand it's an ED and it gets busy at times, but for someone with past cardiac issues to wait for so long is ridiculous. The MV standing ER on north main is a lot more professional and attentive to their patients - not the main campus.

I have been to Memorial Medical Center for 4 years since moving to Las Cruces, 3 times to ER. In…read morethe past, I lived in large metropolitan areas with multiple medical facilities. Memorial is old, but in general the facility is well kept and the service is excellent. In December, I had a triple bypass surgery in Memorial. I first spent 5 days on the fourth floor prior my surgery. My surgeon was Dr. Vitaly Piluiko, who recently retired. Him and his team were outstanding. Dr. Piluiko, visited me in my room every day prior my surgery. After surgery, I spent a few days recovering in the intensive care unit. Even the anesthesiologist came to check on me the day after my surgery! Yes, the hospital is a bit tired, but the care I received was outstanding. My only observation is that the food service company lacks of employees who understand what vegan meals are and they need to have a proper selection of options for vegans, vegetarians and pescatarians. The service is at the same level of what I experienced in large hospitals in San Antonio and Dallas Texas.

I went to Memorial Medical Center Emergency Room on May 29th due to complications with my diabetes…read moreand insulin pump. I was seen by a Doctor Ponce de Leon. She asked me why I had come to the Emergency room. I explained the problem with my glucose level and the number of insulin pumps that I had gone through in 24 hours. The Doctor said she would be back. When the Doctor returned, she told me that there was nobody in the Emergency room who dealt with diabetes or insulin pumps. I asked what about the rest of the hospital, I was told that they have all gone home for the weekend. She said she was going to arrange for me to be discharged. I was upset, so I placed a call to the hospital administration, and was told that they would look into it. Shortly after the call, a Nurse Practitioner came to see me. She checked out my Insulin pump controller and went to make a phone call to my Diabetes Doctor, who's office was closed for the weekend. She eventually spoke to a Diabetes Doctor she knew. The Nurse Practitioner returned, telling me that my insulin pump was malfunctioning. I was told about the diet I should eat over the weekend, until I could get in contact with my Diabetes Doctor on Monday. I was eventually discharged from the hospital, without any help for the large swings in my glucose levels and no means to administer insulin. I should have been admitted over the weekend to get my glucose levels under control. Basically, the Emergency Room Dr. Ponce de Leon and the Nurse Practitioner left me in a very dangerous situation.
