I am a new patient and I scheduled my appointment over 2 months ago. They never sent any reminder message or called me to give instructions on what to do the day of the appointment. I came to the appointment today 15 minutes early with all of my paperwork done. The rude and mean lady at the front desk said that my insurance was inactive and that I needed to self pay. I told her my insurance was active and showed her my active status online. She then said that I (THE PATIENT) needed to talk to the insurance company to see why THEIR crappy office system showed the opposite . I called my insurance while I was in the office and made them contact the doctor's office to see what may have been the problem, which was likely that they did not enter the right information into their system. It ended up being a mistake with the office's system (surprise, surprise). You would think that's it and I would be able to see the doctor now. But it turns out that they did not let me go into the office for my appointment because it was now too late. This is the same appointment that I scheduled two months in advance and showed up early for, and was kept from due to a mistake on THEIR END. They told me I needed to reschedule my appointment, with their excuse being that I needed to be 30 minutes early, not just 15 minutes early. This was absolutely ridiculous as she let another patient in to see the doctor when they came 15 minutes late to their appointment. They then told me that they were booked for the next three months and that she would not be able to set me a new appointment . I have never in my life seen such a mean front lady in a healthcare office. She is very unhelpful and rude, and I will never recommend this office to anyone. A doctor's office is supposed to be a gleaming example of professionalism and courtesy to patients, not one where the staff antagonize you and treat you like you're the problem.

The whole appt was about 20 mins because I was a new patient and had to fill out paperwork but once it came down to the exam itself it was tops 4 minutes if that! Very fast and efficient. I will definitely go back for my next annual exam. The staff was also very nice.

I had a five hour test and couldn't walk for days because there is no place to sit comfortably. I've also found that this place is very dirty. The floor and bathrooms are gross as my grandchildren would say. Most importantly they' have not been accurate with reading of tests. This hospital needs a makeover desperately. DG

I went into the ED yesterday afternoon for chest discomfort being that I have past cardiac issues. Upon my arrival and the staff being notified about the chest discomfort I was told to wait in the waiting area until they have someone available for vitals etc. I waiting about 40 or so minutes just for vitals and an EKG. I was then sent out to wait an hour or more to be taken to a room next to the nurses station. While there, they put on the vitals cuff and pulse ox but didn't even bother to have me connected to the leads / monitor. Their Accredited Chest Pain Center must not be from the ED at all and another part of the facility. While waiting another few hours for blood work or even be seen by a physician I noticed employees (unsure if RNs, PCTs, etc) just chatting away and eating at the nurses station. I saw about 3 nurses doing all the work and honestly felt bad for them. After a couple more hours of waiting, I decided I would leave AMA and follow up with my cardiologist and another medical facility. I definitely wouldn't recommend this medical facility to anyone at all. I understand it's an ED and it gets busy at times, but for someone with past cardiac issues to wait for so long is ridiculous. The MV standing ER on north main is a lot more professional and attentive to their patients - not the main campus.

The fact that my insurance company could not get this practice to tell them why I was canceled, should be enough to warn you about how bad this place has become since selling out to Mountainview. I take my son to Dr. Sumulong and it never fails that every time we have an appointment the office will call to reschedule twice. We have more rescheduled appointments than actual appointments attended on record. The last time as we were checking in I was told the doctor wasn't in and needed to reschedule the appointmen. I said I didn't get a call to reschedul. Receptionist said I called you as you were walking. Really? You don't even know who we are, or the name on the appointment was. I also showed her my phone with no missed calls or messages. She shrugged it off and said, I don't know what to tell you, he's not in. Got rescheduled for the following month. Just got a call that the appointment needs to be rescheduled again. Nope, not doing it. I said Don't call me I'll call you if I'm rescheduling. Sent an email to Risk Management and Medical Directo already letting them know about the absolute mismanagement of their facility and lack of respect for patient care.
