I had a serious, intermittent issue with my engine that I tried standard fixes for with no luck so I decided to take a chance on Ladd's. I brought it in to Jason and crew who were initially unsure what was wrong as well. Hours of googling finally suggested an unusual cause for the problem. When I went back to s&s they sent me to an "honest" shop to get it inspected. I called because there was allot grinding noise while braking and while I was backing out it felt like the brakes were getting caught and or moving and getting caught on the rotor, when I called s&s they told me not to worry that it was just rust on the rotors and that I just needed to drive it for a while. Lest than 2 weeks later I was driving on the interstate with my 3 year old cousin and my aunt in the car and noticed my brake light was on. I thought at first I had forgot to take the parking brake off as the car was a standard and when I looked I hadn't. I tried to brake and realized I had no brakes. I called s&s they told me to get it to the shop and they would check it out when I got there they told me that my brake pad had fallen out, when I asked them if they were going to do anything about it they told me "you own the car now, we aren't responsible for fixing anything anymore" I drove it to another shop and they told me that my pads were so worn that they were not at all surprised it had fallen out. It had ruined my rotors and I had to replace those on top of that the caliper was stuck and the ball joint and cv axel were broken and the frame was really bad so I had to put a massive amount of money into it directly after buying it and getting it inspected by their "honest" inspector. I had the car for a year without missing one payment and eventually just had to bring it back to them, I told them to take the car forget about all the money I had given them for it and just leave me alone. I saw some other sorry girl test driving this car 3 weeks later. They don't care about your safety in the same way they didn't care about mine. Untrustworthy, and dishonest. The mechanic who actually works on the cars is a good mechanic he is just so misguided by the owner and his hands are tied by what the owner makes him do.

We weren't able not able to get an Uber or any taxi/car service and thanks to the good and kind staff at The Barn and random good souls were able to get rides to our Air B&B in Stowe. Kip, then charged us $665 dollars (Venmo-no receipt) for the tow and stay fees for 2 nights - without giving us any info about what when and where our car could get adjusted etc. i hope no one has to deal with him and his son (?) with their who gives a shit attitude . good riddens to two bullies. p.s. there is a star only because I wanted to post my remarks
