I've had four massages here and three of them were excellent. The fourth was with a therapist who seemed frazzled and that's ok, it happens. What I am not happy about is having to see a nurse practitioner every few months. If she doesn't have an opening, you don't get further massages until you see her first. In my opinion, all she does is quiz you to find out what other services they can sell you or bill your insurance for. Like presenting me with a tiny leads unit I did not ask for. Also I am legally blind but still have some vision. In the Flower Mound location, the waiting area is filled with light but as soon as the door to the hallway opens and your name is called, you walk into a dark hallway. When I would have to quickly explain I'm visually impaired -they did not really assist me. One therapist had lowered her bed all the way to the floor and as I walked in there was no bed and I was completely lost. She couldn't figure how to turn the lights up so I could get my bearings. I began going here shortly after they opened and for 2 1/2 years I was their biggest fan. I have nothing but the best things to say about their massage therapists and still think very highly of Curtis, Taylor, Jori and many therapists that have helped me. They not only helped me manage a chronic pain condition, but helped reduce my migraines, shared lots of useful exercises and tips and honestly care about their clients. I always looked forward to my appointments because I was getting help from wonderful people. They are a God send and the reason why I'm giving 3 stars. However, my experience with the previous office manager resulted in a lot of debt and anger. I don't believe in writing angry, emotional reviews, so I had to let that outrage simmer before I could write an update in good faith. Since I believe this situation is unlikely to occur often, I believe the jist is more helpful than a ton of specifics. Basically after 2 yrs, there were some insurance issues. I expressed concern and considered canceling my future appointments. On multiple occasions the office manager continually told me things were under control, not to cancel, that appeals were already underway when none had been sent and had a history of telling me what I assume she thought I wanted to hear without looking into it and then stubbornly contradicting herself later. I would've really preferred she tell me she didn't know. This resulted in additional debt. I only docked 2 stars because I believe this became a learning experience. I also think when I corrected her on some of her quotes, she was a little embarrassed that, what I assume she thought was good customer service (it's being taken care of, this isn't a problem) when someone was looking for specific answers (why would this happen, should I cancel, what's next, I don't want to owe a lot) blew up so spectacularly. But she also never apologized for the position this behavior put me in, that would have gone a long way with me. To the credit of the staff, they did work with me on it by waiving some of it, reducing other parts and letting me pay on a monthly basis- they certainly could've handled it worse and I thank them for that. I clearly went from a valued customer they would always greet and chat with to someone she hid from in the office and always closed the door when I came in to pay. They could've handled that a lot better. It felt pretty insulting considering how much money I had paid, that I referred many others to their services, and had always been so mindful of the perception of their other clients when bringing up concerns. The purpose of this update isn't simply to say I wont return/dock stars, but to provide useful information in the event you come here. If you come here occasionally, for a specific injury or in spurts (3 weeks in a row and then skip a few) I don't believe you will ever have an issue with insurance. If you're going to come at least once a week for 6 months, tell them to send to insurance for reauthorization. They don't do this automatically like some companies, so you must make this request every 6 months. My insurance company told me this could have prevented a lot of the issues. Put a reminder in your phone. To those of you with chronic conditions that will come here more than once a week or at least once a week for more than a year, the rest of this information is for you. I don't think any of the above scenarios will ever need to worry. Just because the doctor tells you that you need to go 3x a week doesn't mean their notes will provide the necessary proof to insurance so they continue to cover. Also, you may find, like I did, that some focus on very different priorities than your own. In retrospect I would have made less adjustments to my therapy and treated the every 30 day visits for what they were. I actually turned down a lot of the extras, but my best advice is focus more on your own schedule and budget than taking every suggestion from the monthly follow-ups. The parent company basically takes the notes from the massage therapists and turns that info into a set form that omits a lot of necessary information about your progress. I was horrified to receive my SOAP notes only to find them virtually identical despite the fact I was seeing 4 different people in any given month. They were essentially useless for an appeal. While I had issues here, insurance continued to pay the other place I go to in full, during the same time. That office manager helped me with the appeals and said the notes the parent company sent lack a lot of the info insurance looks for. That is not the fault of any one person at this office, but very important to those with a chronic condition and on a budget. In retrospect, splitting my time more equally between both places might've helped. The office manager was promoted and they have a different one now, so hopefully no further issues escalate the way they did for me. I still recommend the therapists. read more

I used the live embryonic fluid injection for my torn labrum... 2 weeks after the injection I was astonished.. Before the injection I would raise my arm above 90 degrees and would have 4 days of a toothache type feeling in the joint. I started to yawn one morning and raised my arms above my head and freaked out for a moment.. but there was No pain, no more toothache. I was shocked and in awe. 6 weeks after the injection, I was back to push ups. 3 months later back to pull ups!!! 1 year later, re-injured my labrum but with an amazing tape job I was supported fast enough after injury that I made a full recover after 3 weeks of support. I think the injection still had benefit to my shoulder 1 year later. I definitely am going to be considering another injection for the best outcome! read more

I am so glad I finally listened to Manda and decided to go here. I have had major health issues over the past few years, so I have allowed my lower back issues to take the back seat. It has bothered me, but surgeries and other treatments took the focus away from something that I simply dismissed as a little back issue. I have visited several doctors and specialists in the past, but have not received the proper care that I need. In fact, I felt that I wasn't heard most of the time or even had my grievances dismissed. Manda mentioned this place to me over a year ago and I was interested, but never followed up. I think the main reason I never followed up was because I figured it was just like the other places that I visited in the past. Boy, was I wrong. I just dropped in and had them run my insurance to see if it would be approved and from that mini visit, I knew I was at the right place. My first appointment was today and It was amazing! Side Note: I hate going to doctors. Due to my recent health issues, I had no choice. If it not an emergency, I usually wait until the last minute and have to get extra treatments/procedures because I waited so long. This one visit has completely changed my view. Who says going to the doctor is amazing?! Trust me, one visit here and you will be saying the same thing. Service was excellent, from the front desk, to the doctor, to my therapist (Hope).I am thankful. Everyone was friendly, willing to help and most importantly, they listened. After so many years, I finally felt heard. I was at a point where I felt that pain was just part of my life and I just accepted it. After today, I know that that is no longer the case. There is someone willing to offer me the relief I need and that brings me tears of joy. Being in constant pain is not easy. Besides my back, they are also willing to assist me in other areas affected by surgery and hearing that made my day. To Hope, thanks for an awesome massage. This place has saved my bacon so many times over the years. This time... it was what I thought was bad sciatica from another slipped disc. The therapist did all kinds of tests (I'll get her name and edit later) and ruled out what I thought was the worst and told me that it's probably just a piriformis trigger point. Huge relief. Today is my birthday so I decided it was a great time to start focusing on taking care of myself. I looked into this place based on a coworker letting me know it was in network and just a $20 copay it seemed too good to be true, but it's totally not! I got Brittany for my first visit and it was amazing. I must say it was a deep tissue massage - that's what my body has been craving anyway but I know it's not for everyone so that's something to keep in mind: Swedish relaxation massage does not solve for pain and can't be counted on for tension either (I'm a former massage therapist myself so I know very well!) I had a fabulous session where she got to all of my problem spots (do not expect full body if you really need work done). She used ultrasound therapy and bio freeze at the end! I am so disappointed in this place. I started working with them at the end of 2017. I asked them over and over if they were in network with my insurance and how it would work if I used my HCSA account. I've had nothing but absolute trouble with these people. Now come to find out they aren't even in network for the $600 they charged my HCSA didn't even go towards my deductible for the year. I have several medical conditions and explained to them how important it was hat all my find and or deductible were accounted for this year. I'm in complete shock that a company could have such little regard after I did EVERYTHING I could do as a consumer to make sure we were all on the same page with my care and the costs. I would never recommend his place to anyone or return. I am disgusted with the ignorance. read more

I had an appointment at 11:30 and I arrived at 11:10. The receptionists were pleasant and let me know the RN wasn't in yet, but would be there shortly. At 11:40, I asked how much longer because I had another appointment at 1:30. They begin to explain that the RN was running late and should be there. No one was courteous enough to let me know the RN was running late, until I asked. Unfortunately, I did not receive my massage as the RN was running late from a prior appointment and was stuck in traffic. If I were late, I wouldn't be seen and would be assessed a late fee. I'm so disappointed as it's extremely painful for me to drive, let alone drive and sit for 30 minutes for nothing. I'm sure this place is great, but unfortunately, I'll never know. Do yourselves a favor and inform your patrons when your staff is late or running behind; that's the courteous thing to do! read more

As for a "Hello" or "Welcome" guess they couldn't be bothered. I am not sure about the Doctor part. To be honest he really didn't do anything and pretty much told me his purpose for being there was to be able to pass this through as insurance. It is just basically a massage place that uses a bunch of paper work and a "Doctor" to pass the charges on to the insurance. The massage was ok but I was surprised that I faced down the entire 1 hour of the massage. I have never experienced that before. Usually I spend some time facing down and sometime facing up. I was so incredibly woozy when I was done. If you want a killer massage and less nonsense like a "doctor visit" and a bunch of paperwork, I suggest you go to advanced massage therapy.
