At the new Greenwich studio, I worked with Humberto, the lead fitter, and he was fantastic--friendly, professional, and put me completely at ease. The studio itself is gorgeous: stylish, chic, and perhaps one of the nicest Alts locations I've been to. Plus, there's plenty of parking right on Putnam Avenue, which makes it super convenient. I recently brought in more than 10 garments (dresses, sweaters, skirts and jeans). Mix of complex and simple alterations. It's incredible that they are able to handle everything with ease. I also needed some outfits rushed for an event and the team was able to accommodate my short window. Within just 3 days I got an email that everything was ready for pickup--and the tailoring was flawless! Her tone was so dismissive and unkind. I was desperate because the dress was for my birthday party so I left it. I went in today and told her I needed her to fix a new dress and explained how she'd help me before. She said she didn't know what I was talking about and said I don't know what you want me to do. I walked out this time. This lady is so rude and I will not accept being spoken to this way while bringing money into her shop. I will never set foot in this place again and will tell everyone I know in this area not to go there. Unbelievably rude.
