Dr. Kareem is incredibly kind and gentle--honestly, she's the first dentist I've had who didn't hurt while numbing the area! The office is very efficient too; I was taken in just 5 minutes after arriving right on time. The assistant at the office was so friendly and helped calm my nerves since I tend to get anxious at the dentist. I had a temporary crown placed the same day, and I'll be returning in 3 weeks for my permanent one. I'm really excited to make this office my family's new go-to dental care provider!

I came across this one here on Yelp, and I am SO happy that I did. The dentists here referred me to Dr. Pasternak, their oral surgeon. I hate having my teeth messed with and I'm already anxious just going to the dentist for cleanings. Needless to say, I was so nervous about the procedure and possible complications, but she did an amazing job of explaining everything to me and making me feel safe. Some of my wisdom teeth were impacted, so the procedure required more work and was done under anesthesia (by my request, I wanted to be out of it). Everything went exceedingly well, I had no pain during recovery, and the incisions/holes healed with ZERO complications. Two years later I still think back on the experience and how grateful I am to Dr. Suzanne Pasternak for the skill and care she provided. I figured I should write a review since I still feel so strongly. The office staff were amazing too and were very helpful during all of my pre-procedure visits. I highly recommend this place for everything dental-related. I would make it my regular dentist's office if I didn't live so far!

Due to my insurance change, I had to go with a new Dentist and so here I am at Great Expressions Dental in Wayne, from choosing them because they were in my Network and close to home, which is even a better reason to go there. Well no longer. Today, I drove to Robinson Dental without once feeling nauseated, thinking of turning around, or mentally cursing out another driver from misplaced angst. It was a freaking miracle. My experience with Dr. JD began a couple years ago when he was referred to me by a colleague at the hospital that I trust implicitly. This individual has been going there for years and continued even after a move now required an hour drive. Honestly, I was terrified. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and was apprehensive, embarrassed, and skeptical. While the initial visit was unnerving only due to my own neurosis, Dr. JD was kind, gentle, funny, and was never judgey, dismissive, nor condescending and continues to be all of those things. All of the others reviews are true. He calls to check on you the night after a procedure. He explains everything in as much detail as you'd like. He is straight forward and honest. He respects your time and discomfort. But while all of these statements are true they can not convey his earnestness nor convey all of the little bits that are inclusive in his magic. I know it sounds like hyperbole. It is not. Let me repeat. I did not have one negative thought about my appointment today. What was that? I just saw a pig flying... I also have to give a shout out to Jessica for calling me when there was a cancellation getting me in two weeks early. And to Paula for making me ultra comfortable physically and mentally.
