Quick follow up. Let them know the order was incorrect at 2pm est and re-delivery was to occur. It did not. Second follow up (after David's response). Imagine being told the flowers you ordered are there but they just haven't bloomed yet. Because everyone knows flower buds are more beautiful than bloomed flowers. Or imagine that your item was changed without anyone contacting you. I guess I don't have to imagine. As for the next day delivery and note. I mean the gift is already ruined so even if the next delivery is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen, it doesn't really have the same meaning does it? The proper response to the initial call that occured 4 hours before closing would be to deliver the appropriate item. And rather than make weird excuses, maybe just take accountability and apologize.
