It's an old 2000 jeep with 233000 miles. He came back and bled out the coolant system that was empty, replaced a valve cover. Then worked on the steering system and said it had to be aligned. I had doubts because the vehicle was unsteerable. He waved the the charges on that. I felt bad for that but took a last ditch chance on getting the alignment done. The diagnosis said they can't even believe he did the work due to as lol the rust under the vehicle and deemed that that the vehicle is no longer safe to drive. I gotta grab my child out of the backseat. I don't know what happened before his day but he already seems annoyed like I'm bugging him for something I say sorry?? Before I could even make it to a seat inside this guy is spinning my tires into the garage. now I know you've driven trucks before cause I'm not the only truck there.! The screech was so loud that I said WTF? as I'm walking to the waiting room seems like they were shocked too. I just shake my head and sit down and wait. The guy calls me over about five minutes later to get all my information. And then asked if I want my cabin air filter changed or my other air filter changed and I say no. Well, now the oil change is done and I go to go leave and I go to turn on my AC but now it's making this loud humming sound and vibrating from the glove box I couldn't explain it but as I'm leaving, I was like maybe it's cause I'm on a hill even though it's never done that before I was just trying to think of what it could be I get home. It's still vibrating and making a humming sound so I open it up. Take out the cabin air filter to find that he snapped off one of the clips that hold my glove box divider together. The only way I could see this was sticking my phone in there and recording it because it's such a shallow slot. I remove the piece. The vibrating is gone and it's not as loud but now I still have a lighter humming sound. I would've been better off taking my car to McDonald's because at least I would've only dealt with one clown. I had no idea who to call, who to deal with. I wanted a place that could tow AND fix. My son found this place and I called them with the details and they acted immediately. They have two major bonus points I came across... First of all, my son's car had a failed alternator. I had already replaced the alternator in that car three months prior. The garage I used the first time was one I don't normally use, but it was close to where the car broke down that time. The car limped to that garage and it was highly recommended by my bro-in-law. My bill at Access Auto Too was LESS than the one I used closer to my house. This guy had every opportunity to overcharge me because, technically, it was the vehicle of a tourist. Far from home. Easy target. He did not. His bill also included a $75 tow -- which my original bill didn't have. Second of all, the car was being covered by a warranty. They were not aware of this when they wrote out the bill. The alternator was almost new and the parts store the 1st garage bought the part from was covering the cost under warranty. He was being paid directly, I was not reimbursed. Every inch, from tow to labor. He seemed perplexed by the fact that he was being paid directly by them, but ultimately, trusted me. That means he allowed me to take the car off the lot without getting a dime from me, but believing that he would be immediately reimbursed by the parts store within the one hour timeframe. That's some guts. He was wicked personable, a real nice guy. I was impressed that he was closing his shop for an "Employee Appreciation Weekend". He actually takes his employees away to his vacation home. Man, I can't even get my company to pay for a Christmas Party. We get some sad cold cuts in the break room and a brief, weak handshake. I don't know about anyone else, but he seems like the real deal. I give him props.

I didn't buy that for a minute. I called Ted's Auto Repair, and was told that they close at 5 but they'd take a look at it for me. I had 10 mins to get there. I got there and the passenger light that I got stopped for was working fine!! Go figure. Second... someone had backed into me at the boat ramp a few weeks back and put a nice deep dent in the rear panel just under the left rear tail light and a hole in the Left side of the Hatch back tail lamp (but the light still worked). I had ordered a new housing which came in the mail earlier in the day. The guys (Ted, John, and Scott) replaced the broken housing, and they even popped the deep dent out that was just under the Left rear tail light. They made sure all of my lights were working!! I rode out of there about 1/2 hr later. No one complained at all about staying late to help me out!! You Guys Rock!! Thank you sooo much!! I haven't found this kind of customer service for my truck anywhere on the Cape and that includes the Mazda dealership that just robs you blind. Try them out, you will not be disappointed!!
