Chef Niko was so helpful in describing the comprehensive menu and had some great stories to share about his Greek/Canadian cultural background.

First time visiting this deli, and I'm so glad I stopped in! I actually asked ChatGPT what their…read moremost popular sandwich was, and the Atomic was recommended, so that's what I went with. Let me just say... what a great choice! I was also told that their bread comes from LaSalle Bakery, which immediately had me excited because I LOVE LaSalle Bakery. And the bread definitely did not disappoint. It was fresh, delicious, and made the entire sandwich even better. This is NOT your average deli. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and you could tell there was a lot of care put into the sandwich. I normally have a pretty good stopping point and would probably only eat half of a sandwich like this, but it was so good that I literally couldn't stop myself. I ate the entire thing! I am officially stuffed now, lol, but it was 100% worth it. The Atomic was absolutely delicious, the bread was amazing, and the whole experience exceeded my expectations for my first visit. I will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Five stars all the way!

The art on the walls are also a great touch as well as the sitting area with backgammon available to play. I also love the food and drinks they have in the grocery section. I do wish they had more selections to choose from though. In terms of more options of Russian/Armenian food like deli meat, dairy products, smoked fish, fruits/veggies, candy, cookies, juice... The prices here are steep, it's a big reason as to why I don't shop here often. It's a shame because I would love to support an Armenian business.

The place looked as good as it ever. We like the decor, the layout and the photographs on the wall. The owner, George, was seated at his usual place by the bar and somewhat surprisingly remembered my name! After settling in and ordering drinks, we decided to share a bunch of dishes (hard to choose from an excellent menu). In the end we settled on the following: Spanakopita, Fasolakia, Patates Lemonates, Souvlaki, a side pita (to mop up some of the flavors), and the ( most expensive dish on the menu at $46) the four delicious Padakia lamb chops. Although we were full we had the Portokalopita for dessert. Our server, Daniel and his helper, were cheerful and attentive. The check came to $45 per person - well worth it. It was an outstanding evening of excellent food with good company: one of the best meals we have eaten in quite a while. One cannot ask for more, and had to give the place a rare five stars. We will return sooner than later.

We may have caught an off night. Service was friendly and attentive--especially considering there appeared to be just one server covering the room--but the kitchen was very slow. The delay carried over to our second round of cocktails as well. The biggest issue was the keftedes (our last dish), which unfortunately came out undercooked (rare) in the center. We'll give them another try, as there's clearly potential here.

What they offer is a big variety of deli sandwiches and menu items that are all fresh and delicious. This is a great getaway from the "Sysco" type food" you get at the fast food and fast, casual restaurants. This is a family owned place that takes pride in making you happy. By coincidence both of us selected the "godfather" sandwich. They give you a choice of either soft roll or hard roll. We both went with a hard roll. On this sandwich you get. grilled chicken, prosciutto, melted, sharp, provolone cheese, red peppers, and balsamic vinaigrette. Just writing this review makes me wanna go right now and get another one. Topped off lunch with an orange soda. The owner is a third generation family member. He cares very deeply about the quality of food and it's freshness. We will definitely be back.

We started with the cold appetizer platter, which was served with fresh bread that was perfect for dipping. The baba ghanouj and tzatziki were especially flavorful and delicious. The hummus was good as well, though it does contain cumin, so keep that in mind if you're not a fan. The platter included one spicy dip, but the staff were very accommodating and happily substituted it with a mixed eggplant salad, which was excellent. For our entrées, we ordered the chicken shish kebab plate and lahmacun. The chicken was incredibly tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The plate came with rice, a fresh salad with a wonderful pomegranate molasses flavor, and fire-roasted tomatoes and jalapeños. The rice was also very good. The lahmacun was outstanding--served in three pieces, making it perfect for sharing, and accompanied by fresh vegetables including tomatoes, greens, onions, and parsley. For dessert, we enjoyed the Turkish rice pudding and Turkish coffee. The rice pudding was sweet, refreshing, and served cold, exactly as it should be. The food, service, and overall experience were excellent. Everything we tried was flavorful and well-prepared, and my wife and I will definitely be coming back again.
