Located in the heart of Brown University area, on Thayer st, always busy but orders come out quick. Parking on that street can be tough. Layback spot, a few tables; option of ordering delivery. First time i went to Mike was with q friend who is a regular; she raved about the shawarma. I was on a diet and only had a salad. The salad was great! With grilled chicken and tons of fixings. This time though i ordered the shawarma and my friend was right, so good! Got it with french fries inside, a must! The wrap is huge, i couldn't finish it all. Will definitely go back!

the service alone makes this establishment 5 stars. such cheerful, happy associates and owner. so helpful when i place a larger order ahead of time, ready for pick up on time, lent me a large bag to get my items to my event without getting rained on. i have come many times late at night to get a chicken shawarma salad. personally tried their new beef shawarma recently and loved it. i forgot to ask for no ketchup or molasses but it was still really good. so generous with their portions. i have eaten in with friends for a casual stop and it's a cute little clean place for grub.

This place is LEGIT. be careful ordering the shawarma if you want to be able to focus on anything else until you come back.

Been craving shawarma for so long so we had to stop in and try them here. This place has about 6 people eating in so it seemed like a good place to try. I think there are 2 tables in the front and I think 3 pizzeria style booths. Son ordered mozzarella sticks. I know you can't really mess these up but he literally killed them right away. He claims they were the best he's had. The cheese really did have a ton of pull when he took a bite of it. Came with marinara sauce. It was kinda of chunky but ok. Chicken shawarma plate $14 came with a small side salad with banana peppers, olives, cucumbers, tomatoes and some other veggies. Also came with nicely seasoned fries. Those kinds are my favorite. Not shoestring or crinkle- more like BK fries with seasoning. The shawarma it's self was delicious and nicely grilled on the outside. Had a nice sauce and tons of chicken throughout. Very happy we stopped by here

The wings are super good, but comically small. Came on time. Wouldn't order again especially for like 16 bucks

The food was absolutely amazing. It was one of the best Shawarma I had ever had in my life. The sauce was amazing I had to get an extra shawarma after I finished my first one cause it was sooo good. I also really enjoyed the steak and cheese calzone. It was filled with meat and cheese and the seasoning was perfectly done. The calzone with the side of red sauce went perfectly well together. The staff members were really nice and told us to come visit next time we come in town. It was such a good place and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting providence. The restaurant did not have that many seating area but there were plenty of seats available.

The first time I came, it was a rainy weekday and this time it was a sunny weekend, so I was expecting an even larger crowd; and my prediction was correct. The line was just out the door but because of their awesome staff, the line was moving very quickly. While we waited in line, we could watch them making pastries through the glass, a couple feet in front of us. I admired that level of transparency. When we were third in line, the kindest lady asked us whether we'd be eating in or taking out and she took down our name to help us find a table when it came time. She did the same for the rest of the people in line. She also gave us some recommendations, including the cinnamon bun - apparently they're so good kids cry when they sell out. I didn't intend to order anything with my drink, but I couldn't get the cinnamon bun out of my head so I ordered it along with my iced spiced chai latte. The hen (I think it's their logo) on the aprons of the employees are super cute. We did secure a table. The tables are close together to maximize the number of people who can sit down but I didn't mind. I love their art all around, mostly of birds which I am obsessed with. I love that they have a lot of natural lighting coming through their tall windows. I also like the navy blue and white theme they have going on. The chai latte was perfect. It was the right color (a dark tan), meaning the ratio of tea and milk was good and I could taste a lot of the spices. The cinnamon bun blew my expectations away. The second my teeth made. contact with the icing, it was a magical feeling. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it tasted like, but the closest I got was dulce de leche. It is truly unlike any other cinnamon bun I have ever had. The dough is soft and there is a good amount of cinnamon. It's also $4 which is not bad. I had a bite of their canelé, which apparently requires a lot of work to make. It was very moist, with a great caramelized finish. I am super excited to try their new weekend dinner menu, but also more of their all day menu items.

The frosting was incredible though. That stuff could go on anything. The cinnamon buns at Oak Bakeshop and Whole Foods are much better with those typical gooey layers inside. Also, it was not large in size, anyone can eat it in one sitting. The worker who took my order was very friendly and it is so nice/comfortable inside there.

While I can't say I've absolutely loved all of the seasonal specials that come out of the kitchen, they hit the mark enough times to keep me coming back to try the new ones. We both ordered the Classic Smash Burger, one with cheese and one without. Unfortunately, both burgers were utterly tasteless, with virtually no seasoning detected at all. The Chomp Sauce that was supposed to elevate the burger was so sparse it barely made an appearance, leaving the burgers bland. Honestly, the bun was the best part. The brussel sprouts I ordered also lacked flavor and seasoning aside from the char, and his Cajun fries were so salty they were nearly inedible. After driving from Massachusetts to Rhode Island as a special Mother's Day treat, it ended up being a very disappointing experience, especially given the overwhelmingly positive reviews. We may have caught them on an unusually busy night, but unfortunately our meals fell far short of our expectations.

She had just a couple of deviled eggs, which were a little dry, then continued with a good seasonal salad, accompanied by excellent bread which the restaurant gets from the ex-Wayland bakery, which has unfortunately moved to Pawtucket and changed its name For my main dish I had the appetizer mussels mariniere - tasty and just the right portion for lunch. With great willpower I did not order the fries as I had some the night before. And ended with an espresso. Our waiter, Joe, was knowledgeable about the food (and brought us an extra helping of bread) and gave excellent service. (We gave him a good tip.) As usual, the place was noisy but less so than in the evening. This really is an American bistro, reminiscent of the ones in Paris. The check came to under $50 per person, probably because we did not have any wine as it was the middle of the day. However, we left feeling replete.
