The smell of their BBQ is what brings you in...but don't be fooled. Their food is extremely overpriced for the amount and quality you get. The breakfast burritos are disgusting and dry, with no flavor. The ribs, although the sauce is decent, they are very rubbery and difficult to eat. That's all I've tasted. Even the prices for their coffees are a bit pricey. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, was very disappointed. read more

They say they close at 10pm, but on several occasions I've come in 5 minutes before closing to put in gas and got turned away. "we're closed!" The BBQ is decent, I've had some hits and misses. Sometimes it's juicy tri tip, sometimes it's a bit dry. BBQ sauce is pretty good tho especially on the dry meats. Most of the workers treat this place like it's some "holy land" and take things very personal. The kind that if you say something wrong, they'd make you feel uncomfortable every time. Best to find another gas station at that point. This place has its major ups and downs, so I have to give them credit. They deal with a lot of the baseball crowd, which must get stressful. We had Four Seasons cater a work luncheon. The food was so Delicious, it was literally Finger licking good!!! The price was great. The staff was great. They had a great sense of humor. I went in to the store today to get a cold drink. There were 13 customers inside. Six were in line to get food, only one had a mask on. They were standing right next to each other and they did not appear to be there together. The two employees serving them uncovered food from in side the counter did not wear masks. One other customer along with myself had a mask on as we waited in another line to make our purchases. The two employees ringing us up did not have masks on. I asked to use some hand sanitizer and they told me they don't have any and he stated they don't wear masks either. On the outside of the entry there are no signs posted to wear masks. We wonder why our county has high numbers of people testing positive for Covid. People are very selfish! I will not be going back ever and I will spread the word on how unsanitary and uncaring they are. read more

This gas station has the best deli and customer service. Also their price in gas is pretty competitive too. It's across the street from the ball park. They offer barbeque Monday thru Friday. They have a barbeque wagon out in front and you would see the same nice man working his magic behind the barbecue pit. I got their 3 piece rib combo meal that cost under 9 bucks. I think it cost 8.68 and the ribs were big, meaty and had a very good flavor. It comes with two sides and a roll. I got their mojos and macaroni salad. They have the best chicken gizzards in town. It's super delicious and crunchy. Try it with hot sauce and ketchip. It's hands down the best gizzards I've ever had in my life. The gizzards they normally run out or stop making them by 3 pm. Gizzards are ready by 9pm and the barbeque are usually done by 11 pm. read more

I have never experienced such rude customer service. If paying for gas with a card you must go inside and if you don't use the full amount you requested you must go back inside for them to re-run your card. The catch is, they don't tell you this nor are there any postings. I have never experienced this at a gas station. When approached about the issue, insults and rude commentary was received out in the front of the store and no apology for the misunderstanding or lack of signage. read more

As a "handy market," I think it is OK. It has the usual candy and chip offerings, though on the sparse side. It also has fried chicken and some Mexican food items. Every week on Fridays, I believe, they do smoked BBQ. I haven't tried that, but they do it out on the smoker outside. How could you go wrong with that? They have a convenient location, being on the corner of Goshen and Giddings. My big beef with them is getting gasoline there. They used to be one of the cheaper stations in town, but now they are average and even on the pricier side. And for cheap, low grade gas, too! They charge $1.00 for debit and $0.50 for credit cards. What's worse is that you always have to go inside to use those cards as my wife's and my experience is that you swipe your debit card and it doesn't take or you swipe your VISA card and it says it doesn't recognize the card so you have to go inside. When you are in a hurry, it's a hassle. And then the insult of an added $1 or 50 cents. Never going to go there again. Isn't worth it. read more
