I see two different providers at Village Medical. Right now, I just need a simple medication refill. They are 100% unresponsive. After 3 days, 3 unreturned voice mails, promised callbacks not received, and 31 unanswered phone calls, I have asked to speak to the practice manager. I do not expect to get that call back, either. I decided to try Village Medical approximately 18 months ago. The providers I have seen are AWESOME. They were kind, genuinely concerned, patient, and listened. The 1 star rating is the result of the management, billing, and general business practices of the company and not a reflection of the doctors, nurses, PA, NP, or office staff. I encourage everyone to read the other reviews and take them to heart. This company's only goal is trying to figure out how they can charge patients more money. I have a very close personal friend that is employed by Village Medical. He is constantly telling me that all expectations are related to how many patients he can see and making sure he "codes" items correctly so the company can get paid. There is absolutely NO emphasis on the human interaction and quality of care. In addition, he has been told he will no longer receive the 401K matching that he was promised when he took the job. (I told him when they made that announcement last year that they were in financial trouble and he should start looking for another job.) Village Medical is a large company that is majority owned by Walgreens Boot Alliance (WBA) which is a publicly traded company. WBA stock has tanked and now they are scrambling to appease share holders. (Thankfully I don't own WBA. The last time their stock price was this low was 1998.) As a result of their poor performance, WBA has begun divesting some of their Village Medical offices in an effort to cut their losses. They are also applying pressure to Village Medical to increase revenue. As a result, patients and their issues are merely dollars to them. Fortunately I have found another provider where our relationship and my medical needs take priority over the amount of money they can get from me. Side note: When Village Medical responds to this review they will say the same thing they have said every other review. "Thank you for your review. We appreciate your feedback as it is our goal to serve our patients with excellence." This is the worst doctors office anywhere. Their billing department and their employees are so incompetent they can't do anything correctly. Then they send their billing to South America for the love of God. Very un-American very bad this place is terrible the doctors are dumb the nurses are dumber and their office staff is just incompetent stay away do yourself a favor and stay away I keep getting past due bills when there incompetent bookkeepers cannot bill the correct insurance. Stay away from this place. These people are so incompetent. It's just sad that they're in business. Somebody should contact the doctors. I don't know what it's called there has to be an organization that overlooks doctors offices in report Incompetence. This place is nothing but bad people and bad doctors. Hello Everyone, if you are looking for a group of efficient doctors that actually CARE about you and your well-being I would choose Methodist Health System. They are very efficient and everything is organized beautifully. Village Medical has not been a good experience for me for a number of years now. You feel like cattle vs a patient. You wont experience that with Methodist. They have an office at- 14211 Farm to Market 2920 Ste 110, Tomball, TX 77377. No begging for prescriptions or arguing over care. First you can't reach anyone in the actual office no matter how hard you try They have a central scheduling hub somewhere.......No idea where it is. If it's non schedule related they " send the provider a message" Secondly, related to these messages ....they won't return them ....your patient portal is useless because this is how they ask you communicate rather than call so I guess this is just a better way to ignore you. Tele-visits are a joke. They won't call at your scheduled time then say you missed your appointment and cancel you when you don't answer the phone because it wasn't your scheduled time. Hmmmm. Again, a good way to ignore their patients so they don't have to deal with people. They have this down to a science... if you can't get through to them in any way shape or form they don't have to put up with anyone or actually do any work. Pretty clever. Don't even try this provider. Find another one in Tomball accepting new patients. It will save you a lot of time and a really bad experience.....and most of all a big headache. read more

I must say that this is the most deplorable chain of medical facilities that i may have ever came across. I think i have received better customer service at Popeyes chicken. It was such a struggle getting contact with my specific office which was the Copperfield location since every Village medical clinic uses the same telephone number. It has been extremely frustrating trying to stay in contact with my provider and at times like these we need ease and assurance. I would not recommend this clinic if you needed a band-aid. read more

I get so frustrated with trying to get in touch with someone. No phone calls returned. I've tried all week to get 2 referrals, one to see an ENT (which I got) and the other for a hearing test. The appointments are together, so if I don't have a referral for the audiologist, I can't see the ENT, per the office. Does anyone work at Village Medical? read more

This office has gone completely downhill since Dr. Valdez sold it to them. The office staff is beyond rude. I'm taking myself elsewhere and would advise all to do the same. read more
