My two dogs have boarded here several times and it has been a great experience. One of mine is a senior and they have a section for senior dogs. The facilities are very clean and they always have several workers there ensuring the animals get special attention. They are very detail oriented so you can rest assured medication gets administered if needed and you can set number of treats given per day. read more

Fenney spent 8 nights here and when I picked her up she was clean, and happy. We will definitely use this facility again. Thank you so much! Very nice staff. I got the leftovers of her food in a reusable bag and they helped me get it in my car while I managed Fenney. That was really nice. read more

We just picked up our 4 medium size dogs from a 6 night stay in the boarding department of Village Pet Spa. Our dogs also go there for grooming. We are so happy with the care that they receive while they are there. On day 2 of our trip, we got a call from Christy, the manager, just letting us know that one of the dogs was having some stomach issues and she said that they would feed them chicken and rice for the next few meals until their stomach issues subsided. She also called the next day with an update. We feel our dogs are in the best care there and they think of everything... even the bandannas that the dogs had around their collars, were washed and dried right before we picked them up. I highly recommend this business for both grooming and boarding. All the employees are very friendly and you can tell they all love dogs. read more

Zero stars. Do not take your pets there. My 11 year old beagle was injured in their care while being boarded. My mother picked her up and she was struggling to walk and couldn't move. So my mom rushed her to my vet and the vet said there was definitely an injury that occurred. She had a spinal cord injury with pain and limb weakness. When we confronted them they said no she was fine while she was there they said she even ran to the door all excited. No she was not fine. Stuff happens but their refusal to give us any information and there lack of care about an injury happening is unacceptable She was dropped off perfectly healthy then clearly injured and in pain for pick up. So question is what happened to her while she was in there care and how long was she in pain? I will never take my dog back to them. We demanded answers and got oh she was fine the whole time she was here. Additionally upon read her report cord that the do with every stay it said that she was fussy as apposed to a previous stay three weeks prior that said she loved playing catch me if you can and she picked at her food as apposed to always I devour my food. They are a disgrace to boarders everywhere and the fact that they not only lied hid it from us brushed us aside but they also refused to get her medical care is unbelievable unprofessional and just plain cruel. Do not take your pets there. read more

Yesterday was my first visit to this pet spa. I have two small dogs that were in terrible need of some fluffing and buffing. Upon our entrance we were greeted warmly and welcomed as first time guests. The groomer came out to introduce herself and get to meet my barking, paranoid Reese. She asked me what I wanted done and I simply said a puppy cut...I had no idea there were so many options!!! I was clueless and just asked her to make him look nice! I felt really bad handing over an annoying stressed out dog, but all went well and in two hours they were best friends and my dog looked beautiful. The girl who had Remy had a much easier job as he is extremely social and loveable. She groomed him perfectly and he is back to being a handsome chick magnet again! Everyone we met was friendly and seemed happy to be working with pets. This spa was so clean. As I sat waiting to check out I could not help but to be impressed by the cleanliness of the floors. Overall it was a fabulous experience and we will be returning for sure. They also have daycare and boarding, which I may need someday and would not be hesitant to try. So much nicer than Miss Kate's...if you are looking for a clean, caring pet spa this is it. Thank you! read more

We boarded our dogs here this past Labor Day weekend. While gone we called to check on them. We were told they were fine, eating well, etc. We went to pick them up, paid our boarding fee. First Zoe came out with their belongings, and then they brought out Sal in his leash. He was coughing, and they asked us if he normally does this on the leash. We told them no. One of the gentleman that works there came back to our car, and informed us that a dog with Bordatella was being quarantined in the same section that Sal was being boarded. In the car on the way home, that night Sal continued coughing. We took him to the Emergency Vet, and it was confirmed that he had Bordatella, despite being vaccinated. Which I guess can happen. Our anger and disappointment with Village Pet Spa is that we were not informed while we were gone, when the situation was noticed. It was not mentioned when we paid, it was not mentioned until that gentleman came back to give us an FYI. Also, despite them being made aware that Sal was indeed exposed and got the Bordatella, they have not reached out to us to see how he is doing. We will not be bringing our dogs back! read more

I cannot convey how exceptional Village Pet Spa is. We have 2 senior labs, one being totally blind. Village Pet Spa has been so accommodating for our special needs dog. VPS ensures both dogs are boarded together (per our request) and strive to make the stay as consistent as possible (from kennel selection to med administration), from visit to visit, which helps our blind fur baby adjust to our absence. The staff is exceptional and goes above and beyond to ensure our senior puppies enjoy their stay. We know they are in great hands, regardless of our length away. VPS has truly become part of our family. read more

These people let my dog get out of their building and onto a busy road while they were meant to be watching it. They didn't realize for almost an hour that my dog had gone missing and was laying dead in the road in front of their facility. These are the worst people in pet care I have ever come across. Katie was especially terrible during this whole situation. read more

I brought my dog in to be groomed and was called back almost immediately to come get my dog because she was anxious. The grooming was not completed and I was left in the lurch. I expected a dog spa to be capable of dealing with dog anxiety. I came away with the feeling that they were over booked and just didn't want to deal with anything that would take some patience and effort. read more

My dog loved it here. I called the day before and they didn't have a recent spot for my yorkie. When I told them I was going out of town they were able to squeeze me in for the following day. My dog was very nervous but when we walked in they were so sweet and clean I felt comfortable leaving him there. When I picked him up he had the best cut he's ever had and was very happy. We had our golden retriever boarded for 3 days here. The staff was so nice and friendly. You can make special requests, for example, they will accommodate a special diet and refrigerate food if needed. We also had our dog bathed after his stay and they did such a wonderful job. Wow! We are new to the area and tried the groomers for the first time. We brought both our dogs and one of them is a rescue from a shelter. She can be hard to handle. They were patient and kind. Excellent service for the price! Would definitely use them again read more

We had several BAD experiences since the new owners took over. Our dog came home with ticks each time and they blamed it on the previous owner. Bad attitudes from the owners, especially Katie. Drop off and pick up times were inconvenient. The last visit our dog was released with fresh and dried poop all over her backside and when I complained they said they don't do a 360 on every dog, maybe we should cut our dogs fur so it wouldn't happen. My neighbors dog came home with his paws bloodied. Never again!!!!!!!!!!!!! read more
