We spoke on the phone but she wouldn't budge. "It's our policy blah blah blah. I prefer to shop at locally own running stores and this was a fluke for me. It was such an unsatisfying, rigid phone call. I asked if there were any other stores closer to me and she said: "Look it up"! Customer service is key and it was not evident. I…read morenoticed some seam lines coming undone and brought the defective pair of sneakers back to the store. I spoke with Brielle, the manager, who said because I had worn the shoes I could no longer return. I told her the length of wear and she said it didn't matter. I was not looking to return, I was looking to exchange and that couldn't be done either. I have never had trouble exchanging a defective item at a store before. She said I would have to reach out to the manufacturer directly and did not offer any contact information. When I expressed my frustration she said the return policy is explained at the bottom of the receipt and gave the most insincere "I'm sorry." I let her know it was my last time coming to this store.
