First time to this location. Location wise it is awesome . Right on RT 1 and very close to other businesses like REI , Olive Garden etc . Lots and lots of parking available . My wife likes this shop very much . For guys , this shop isn't the right place ... I was looking at some tshirts , shirts , shoes and everything was so expensive .. looks was also not that good . For women there are lots of options ! But the whole place is so messy . It is very hard to find good stuff ... takes a lot of time . Very few options are cheap ones . Otherwise it is decently expensive . Service was average too. Very tough to get help . Billing was slow .. quality is the only thing that saves this business . Looks are good too. Good deals on good brands , if you decide to go to a fancy dinner or the symphony and didn't pack anything, come to Nordstrom Rack and you can find your whole outfit at reasonable prices and fair amount of choices. Got a Calvin Klein suit jacket, penguin shirt and tie, and some comfortable affordable Steve Madden boots. Great service by Miriam at checkout and clothing was in a garment bag and packed up nicely. Make no mistake, Nordstrom Rack is no Dollar Store. This is Nordstrom at approximately 30% off versus straight retail. Not bad, but considering their jumping off point, no one in their right mind is going to throw a Black Friday brick through the window to get at the "bargains" inside. The real savings are for legitimate luxury brands that almost never go off MSRP but be selective, as 50% on mainstream near-luxury brands such as Ralph Lauren can be had virtually anywhere. On balance, the quality is top-notch and you'll save a few bucks especially on "past season(s)" merchandise - certainly a fair deal. Word to the wise, you might want to bring a crowbar and your best athleisure ensemble to separate the tightly packed clothing on every rack. Have at it. read more

I had a wonderful experience at this Nordstrom Rack. The staff at this store are just awesome. I was helped today by a gentleman named Wil. What an amazing guy! He went above and beyond to make sure that I had a terrific experience in the store. Friendly and knowledgable, took the right amount of time to understand what it was that brought me to the store and made sure that I didn't leave without finding what I needed. This is the sort of experience that makes me want to come back. Absolutely phenomenal customer service and leadership approach from the staff. Kudos to this store! I wanted to leave a more formal compliment, and scoured the web looking for a way to recognize a specific employee, but could only find a complaint page. I even went onto the chat of the official website to ask if there was a way to recognize this particular employee, but apparently there's nothing. read more

Young white female security officer followed me in the store. I'm a Middle aged, African American male, educated business owner who only wanted to make a purchase and leave. I guess I fit the description and or profile of a customer who poses a threat to steal merchandise. This is the second time this lewd behavior has occurred in the past 9 months. So I ordered a suit and they made me wait for it more than 10 days, and they lost. Never got it. Refund took 4 days. So after being charged for the suit and waiting for 14 days having nothing. Anyway I placed another order later on, waited for 15 days this time and they couldn't find my address which is very clear. Absolutely never order with them. And I called their customer service and had a supervisor on the phone hoping that she could help me but she interrupted me maybe 5 times and didn't bring me any solution. If shoe variety is want you want, there's no better place than Nordstrom Rack. Being tall with big feet makes for a tough time shoe shopping, but Nordstrom rack has changed all of that. Whether dress shoes, sneakers, slippers or snow boots, Nordstrom Rack has it all, and in great variety. The options can change on a daily basis, so come often if you don't see something you like. I find that coming on a Monday seems to have the best selection, but even that can vary. Either way, you will be bound to find something, and at a fraction of the original price. This store also offers other clothing like jeans, dress shirts, shorts and even suits. There's no better place to shop for any kind of kind of clothing and get them at a discounted price than Nordstrom Rack. This is my go to and will continue to be. read more

Would call it a shitshow but it was all shit and no show. It's an enormous store full of crap. Racks are too close together for two people to pass each other while browsing through endless racks of random items. I kept having to move out of the way or leave aisles constantly for store associates with carts... it's like they think the main goal is to put items back on the racks instead of making it possible for shoppers to actually buy anything. Rude and oblivious shoppers just drop clothing on the floor and leave it, or leave things barely hanging when they shove it back into place. Hard to find anything in this big jumble of curiously categorized racks. Prices might be better than original Nordstroms (which are overinflated to start) but still not worth the hours it took to find one decent top. read more

Great store because you can find great stuff at random bargains like fashionable top of the line sunglasses and fragrances also they have a great selection of shoes and accessories, the bottom line is you never know what you going to find from week to week who knows you might just get lucky and find a great bargain here, if you just give the store a chance,I mean I found a great pair of Prada designer sunglasses at a wonderful price I saved a lot of $$$ and a nice fragrance I also have bought some Lacoste carpets; sometimes they have a great selection of Dr.Martens boots and all kinds of great brands in shoes you can't go wrong with this store and the best of all is Authentic products. This is a fairly nice store. It is mostly well organized, and they have a lot of selection (of course the men's section is, as usual, truncated -- but not really my problem ^_^). The lighting is nice and bright, which makes it easy to find and assess your items. Service was excellent. The lines move fast, and the cashiers are friendly. I have not stepped into the fitting rooms yet, so I cannot evaluate that. However, based on what I've seen, this is a place to which I will definitely return! read more

I like this place and go there mostly to my returns that I order from nordstron.com. The line is ALWAYS long though even with 3 cashiers. Basically an outlet store for Norsdtrom and similar to a TJMAXX or Marshalls. Staff is friendly and helpful but you need to seek out the help. read more

So glad to have a Nordstrom rack in this area! My experience is that it can be hit or miss but the location is so convenient I'm sure I'll be popping in all the time. What's great is that they take returns from Nordstrom, including online purchases so if I order something that isn't quite right I don't have to drive out to Menlo to return it! The first week they opened was obviously a mad rush but they've quieted down since and it's a calm shopping experience. read more

I think I found my new happy place. I live about 30 min north, so I won't get here too often, which is probably a good thing. Loved the selection and size of the store. I also appreciated that the store was way more organized than Marshall's or TJ Maxx. It's even more organized than most Macy's stores. I scored with a great pair of Cole Haan flats, a Calvin Klein blazer and Vince Camuto blouse. That's just the stuff I actually bought. I could've bought so much more! For so long I've been frequenting Marshall's for a similar shopping experience-name brands without the high price. That has now changed. I drove to this location under the impression that it was an actual Nordstorm, but I went inside because what the hell, I was in the parking lot. I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was neatly in order and the staff were very helpful- the changing room staff I could tell were very busy but trying their best. I walked out very happy. I was able to buy a Free People dress that is still sold online for $88 for $30, with absolutely no flaws, along with other great pieces. It's hard to leave this store empty handed which is a testament to the great selection they have here. From housewares to clothing to cosmetics, this store has a vast array of goods to peruse through. Their shoe department is also extensive and if you're in a pinch to find something for an occasion or a trip, you should definitely look here. Their men's section is not as vast as the women's but they do have nice accessories, a substantial jean selection and great dress shirts. My favorite part of going here is finding the random odds and ends that you forget you need such as shoe polish etc which they have smartly laid out and for great prices. Their cosmetics section and hair products are also great. The handbags are hit or miss and you're better off purchasing them online because they'll be in better shape. Their sunglasses are also better if purchased online because most will come with their own case which the store does not always have. I've also found nice inexpensive jewelry here but you do need some patience. Also, another perk is that you can return purchases made on Nordstrom.com here so if you live in the area, that saves you a trip to the freehold or Menlo Park malls.
