I was so impressed I am now renting an apartment here and I love it. If there's an issue it's taken care of right away. I feel the corporation that employees this staff should feel pround to know that you have great people working for you. I felt the need to add my review on this apartment complex this evening. I have lived here going on…read more5 years now. Even before I moved into the apartment complex the Manager made a very good impression on me. I was a struggling single mother with two minor children who needed help with no where to go. I needed a quite place to raise my children away from those who wanted to harm me and my children. Ms. Valarie (The manager) even before having a place ready for me told me that she had my back. This impression and promise still continues today as I write this review. I know it is time I do so. No it may not have the amenities that larger complexes have, but we have peace and a caring administration. The manager doesn't allow children running around the complex or loud music after 9 pm and as the complex began to get children had to do a reminder of these policies. I had to personally complain about the trash that people were leaving around the apartments instead of placing them in the garbage dumpsters; another quick resolve by the manager. The grounds are clean quite which at one point wasn't but after management got reports from the police department changes were made to enforce complex policy and a note sent to each tenant. That is another great thing I can say about this complex that we are given notices of any and all changes that are to take place as well as notes that help to ensure the standards for the complex so that all can tenants including our children can be safe. Unlike many other complexes we even get a reminder placed on our doors concerning when rent is due and I did need some of them. We have an awesome leasing administration that not only answers our calls but walks the property to ensure all is according to the owners expectations. The leasing workers are friendly and when I couldn't get my mailbox open because some children went and broke it and others they collected my mail for me from the mailman. Even today they will collect packages delivered for me when I am not home. Security has a great hand in making sure all packages are safe. Security is also great in patrolling the grounds. Many nights that I have had to come in late from work they were near the mailboxes waiting It amazed me that had observed me enough to know what time I was coming in and timed their patrol to ensure I got in the house safely. The security friendly, yet they are serious about their job and keeping us safe. The manager (Ms. Valarie) had flood lights placed around the apartment complex in the back because it was rumored that children were breaking in cars and stealing. The lights with cameras resolved problem. As with most apartment complexes animals are allowed with a doctor's statement of need. My daughter suffers from ADHD, being Bipolar and having severe mixed psychosis. I was able to get a cat in my home in 2022. I understand that even with this we must have control of our animals so that they don't run all around the complex. My son had been bit by a dog when little and afraid of dogs. Thank God the manager put tight restrictions on dogs. Each apartment complex has a set of rules that they either choose or not choose to implement for the tenants and children's safety. I am grateful that Whispering Pines chooses to do so. And not only that I am thankful that the section I live in the tenants also look out for each other. We have a mixture of young and old living together and it is amazing how the young men and ladies look our for me and my daughter. I am so pleasantly surprised and grateful to God for allowing me to live in this complex. If you are a peaceful person and want to live where you can know your safety is of great concern and repairs are actually few and far between needed then Whispering Pines Apartments is the place you are looking for to call home.

The Wolf River Blvd @ Riverdale location is great, the property is very attractive, the buildings and landscaping are top-notch, and maintenance service (when needed) is excellent. The mini dog park, lots of green space, and shared community spaces are kept pretty well. Leasing staff is very friendly and maintenance requests are handled very well. Available EV changing station is a huge bonus. Cons - A few entrance gates aren't easy to find, not easy to turn into without curbing your car if you don't have a remote for the gate. Gates break quite often too. Older phases aren't as well developed as the newer units. HVAC units in older phases doesn't distribute hot/cold air evenly throughout the unit.
