At prior dentist's office, I found myself physically clenching as they cleaned my teeth. Last week, I went to Aqua Dental for a new client assessment and cleaning, and - dare I say it - I am ALMOST looking forward to my next appointment. My first impressions of Aqua Dental were how thorough and kind they were. They explained everything to me, and I learnt so many things. I came back home and found myself passing along my newfound knowledge to my husband. The biggest bonus of all, my teeth have never felt so clean! To this day, I'm still rubbing my tongue along my teeth in awe. The dentist who did my cleaning is a perfectionist in his trade. I wasn't shamed for any of my bad dental habits (not flossing, not wearing my retainer), which helps reduce my anxiety for future appointments. I'm SO glad that I switched to Aqua Dental! I hope to take advantage of their comfort menu during my next visit, which includes things such as massage chairs, heated towels, weighted blankets. Don't be deterred by their long wait. When I submitted my request last month to become a new client, my appointment couldn't be scheduled until August 2023(!!). Luckily I was able to snag a cancellation, and got appointments last week instead.

I'm not sure where to start. When I entered their office it was clean and the staff was polite. I…read morewas there for a basic check up and cleaning. They found that my upper left molar had a cavity and Dr. Bedrosyan stated that he wanted to remove my last wisdom tooth that he claimed to have a cavity as well. This wisdom tooth that I had had for over 20+ years that wasn't giving me issues and he could have just put in a filing and it would have been fine. These two procedures were scheduled for a later date, a few weeks later. I proceeded to have my teeth cleaned, she spent maybe 15 minutes with me, I had not had a cleaning in almost 8 years and she told me that my teeth were in great shape and needed little cleaning. I returned a few weeks later for my filling and tooth extraction, which now in hindsight I wish I had told him to leave it, the reason for that will become blindingly apparent. He tugged, pulled, yanked on my jaw for almost twenty minutes to remove a tooth that obviously didn't need to be removed, then put in a filling on my left side. He asked me if I had tylenol at home, I said yes so he gave me some extra gauze handed me a poorly written sheet of vague instructions and sent me on my way. No instructions on what not to do, or even what to do. The paper instructions were no better. Did you know that you shouldn't use a straw after a tooth extraction? and when I say shouldn't I mean DON'T. I didn't know that either, know how I found out? Google, after using the straw then having excruciating pain, pain so bad that no amount of tylenol would help. It ran the length of my jaw and it reduced me to tears. Know why? Because when drinking from a straw it can cause you to lose the much required blood clot in the extraction point. When the blood clot is lost you get what's called dry socket, which is basically your bone exposed like a raw nerve. Dr. Bedrosyan never explained this to me, nor did his flimsy sheet of instructions. I called them to tell them of the situation at which time he prescribed me tylenol 3 with codeine and antibiotics and the advice that I just need to be patient. Why wasn't this prescribed before I left the office after the extraction, not several days later? The pain never subsided, but now it was coupled with excruciating shooting pains that shot up from the new filling on the left side whenever I ate anything. When I say anything I mean anything that required me to chew. I told him about this new issue, he had me come in and he filed down the filling, again why wasn't this done on the initial visit? I went home. Still in pain from the tooth extraction and still having shooting pains on the left side of my mouth. A week later, as advised, I returned to his office with the same complaints. Now if you are keeping track it has now been three weeks from the date of the filling and extraction. He filed down the filling some more and again told me to be patient, everything was healing fine. I was in constant pain, I couldn't eat anything and could barely drink because of the shooting pains. He then prescribed me oxycodone. This barely killed the pain. Tired of this bull I went to a completely different dental office and the findings were shocking. I still had exposed bone on the tooth extraction, the tooth below the filling needed to be filed down slightly because it had a high edge that when connecting to the filling which was the cause of the pain. It took him five minutes and all the pain from closing my mouth on the left side was gone. However now I must go see a specialist, whatever Dr. Bedrosayan did to me I now have constant chronic pain. When chewing on the side where the tooth extraction is the adjacent molar feels like it is coming loose and it's painful to eat anything tough or hard, even some softer foods cause issues. The gaping hole is still there and there is still exposed bone. Although the shooting pain going through my tooth on the left hand side is gone, I now have a constant throbbing pain through my jaw and gums. My new dentist removed Dr. Bedrosayan's filling and replaced it which alleviated a great deal of the pain. But I am still in considerable pain when I eat and drink and on the worst days when I breath through my mouth. This is now been almost 6 months from my initial appointment. As well when my new dentist did his check up they found that a great deal of plaque was left behind, like nothing had been removed. I spent a good 25 minutes in the chair getting my teeth cleaned by the new dentist. Dr. Bedrosayan and his staff couldn't even get a teeth cleaning right!! Stay far far away from this dentist and all of 7 Dental clinics. If I could give them a negative rating I would!
