Yelp to the rescue, as the massage place I was standing in front of didn't have good reviews and Ching's was only two blocks away, and I got a special rate for checking in on the app. I walked in without an appointment on a late Saturday afternoon and only waited 15 minutes until Pauline was ready to start my massage. She was great. Room was modest but clean and comfortable with a heat lamp to help keep you toasty. She worked the knots and tension out of my back and soldiers with a from but not sadistic touch. She paid special attention to my trouble-spots (she didn't have to ask--she could feel them) and made sure she was applying pressure that I was comfortable with. I was sorry when the hour was up, but felt very relaxed and like 10 pounds of stress had been melted off. Only thing she didn't massage was my feet, but that means I'll have to stop back for a foot massage later this week!

I had migraines all my life and dealt with them as well as I can. When I get them, boy, stop the world because they are debilitating and painful. I used to pop Excedrin Migraine Max strength to help me, but no longer do I need meds for them. Jennifer taught me that painkillers don't cure the root of the problem but instead, are like bandages for the cause. Once you get past 30 (and now 40), it becomes part of the active lifestyle routine which means I visit Eva monthly for acupuncture, cupping and a refill on herbs. She's knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. I generally provide a vague meandering description of what's hurting and she somehow knows exactly what to do next.
