Many thanks to this great small bakery that was on my way to work and still had paczkis for sale on Fat Tuesday today! It's off the beaten path and the parking lot is small but it was well worth the trip! I bought four paczkis in three different flavors and had the Bavarian cream for myself. For only $1.75 a paczki, I think it was very tasty and definitely worth the price! The flavor selection is small but that's probably to keep costs down, especially since this is actually an Italian bakery! I intend to make this the bakery I go to for Italian holidays in the future so I can try their specialties! Kind and quick service too. read more

Bought their elephant ears with cherry, raspberry, and black raspberry filling. They are fantastic! The people waiting on you are friendly and willing to answer all your questions. Went there when I first moved to Ohio for First Thanksgiving shelves were empty, hardly any Cakes, Italian Pastry when asked if I could order and pay over phone rude woman manager said we don't do business like that! Rae made my fiancé and me feel completely stupid for asking basic questions about wedding cakes, and getting any kind of clear answer was like pulling teeth. When we grabbed waters from a fridge, she told us we should probably take reading classes before getting married because we didn't notice a small sign saying the door was for employees only. Was looking for a bakery last minute to buy some paczkis since I forgot to place an order in advance elsewhere. Called Vincent's up and to my luck they had a few left in stock. These paczkis were so good and filled with lots of filling! I tried the lemon, blueberry and Bavarian ones. Blueberry was by far my favorite because it had actual blueberries in it. Vincent's however is an Italian bakery so I have to stop but again to try out their Italian baked goods! read more

We ordered a tiramisu cake from Vincent's for an 18th birthday. What we got was definitely NOT tiramasu. There were no lady fingers, it had no coffee liqueur, and was incredibly dry. On top of that they misspelled the birthday girl's name on the cake! We called in to complain, and were told that we obviously didn't know what tiramasu was! And that we ordered the wrong cake. Tiramisu is one of my favorite desserts so I really resented the notion that I was somehow ignorant because the cake was bad! They said that I had never had tiramisu before and refused to give me a refund of the $40 I spent, but offered to give me a sample of some "italian cake" so I could order the right thing next time. Great bakery fare. Everything is good. I would strongly advise against prepaying for anything in cash. I know paying in cash helps them out. I am all for supporting small businesses struggling during COVID-19, but I've occasionally had to pay for items again when picked up as a reward for doing so. Customer service is not so hot, as they refuse to discuss it. (minus a star). I would recommend that everyone try their poppy seed strudel. It's been a favorite of the family for decades. read more

I grew up in Tallmadge, and was at my grandparent's house that is within walking distance of Vincent's very often. They have the best cream sticks out of any that I have ever had. I have yet to figure out their secret ingredient, but something they put in their cream makes them different from all the rest! I am actually not usually a fan of cream-filled donuts, but theirs are amazing. The texture of their donuts is also incomparable - they sort of melt in your mouth, and have this amazing freshness to them. It is still a tradition of mine to swing by and pick up some chocolate cream sticks when going to visit my grandma. In fact, while living in Pennsylvania, my mom brought me a bag of them when she came to visit and I may have hoarded then in my freezer for a while! :) They are THAT one of a kind! Not as good as getting them fresh obviously, but it got me through. I have also had a cake, and regularly bought the small colored cookies (the name escapes me) from Vincent's which have all been amazing as well. If you are in the area, give them a try - It is small, family owned, and everything is just amazing! Service is always great, and you will not be disappointed! I don't even know where to begin. We live in Arizona and wanted to have a Cake delivered last minute for a Friends Birthday in Stow Ohio. Then realizing if is Fathers Day on Sunday and this was the Saturday before. Frantic and on the web know one would that the delivery there in time. First called Stalh's bakery and not a chance but was kind enough to give us Vincent's Bakery. I almost did not call as the web said they did not deliver. Well desperate, I called a very Kind woman name Tina was not sure they could do it but said let me see what I can do. Well keeping calm headed Tina worked her magic and made my day. No only did she have a beautiful Italian cake it was lovely. She even said she would decorate the cake and deliver it as soon as she was done. Well keeping to her word she delivered and called me to confirm it was dropped off. In harsh times like this Human kindness can go along way. First time customer and received excellent service. Ordered cupcakes the day before I needed them for a birthday lunch and baker adjusted schedule to accomadate me so they'd be ready by noon. Ordered French eclairs that other reviews were outstanding and they weren't kidding. If you haven't tried them they are amazingly good. Flakey and a wonderful creamie custard like filling. Definitely going back for more. Got dog treats ( didn't want to leave them out) and got a cinnamon sugar elephant ear (not sure what they call them). Everyone broke pieces off to end a fabulous dessert extravaganza. The perfect end to our Italian lunch for mom. If you haven't tried this small local bakery go. It's too bad there isn't any local bakeries left in my home town in Pennsylvania. But this makes it an extra special treat and I'd probably gain way too much weight if I lived closer. Oh yeah.
