On our road trip through Ohio we found this gem of a brewery right on the river. It was a spectacular day sitting on the patio enjoying lunch. Our dog absolutely loved it as well. We ordered Cuban sandwiches which we enjoyed immensely. The portions were generous. We watched as others ordered salads and flatbread. They looked great as well. The beer was excellent. I'd love to give this place five stars, but the music holds it back. The 90s club playlist doesn't match the otherwise serene, beautiful atmosphere -- it feels more dance floor than riverside brewery. That said, everything else is spot on: the beer, the food, the views. The sandwiches are great, and it's clear a lot of thought went into designing Missing Mountain, from the scenic, tiered patio overlooking the Cuyahoga River to the multiple inviting indoor seating areas. Really glad we found this gem during our visit to Ohio. We just got off a kayaking trip on Cuyahoga River (also highly recommend). I always love a spot that offers a flight option, mainly because I can't commit to one full 16oz haha. I enjoyed all the beers we tried, and the slushy drink. The patio is a beautiful scenic view of the Cuyahoga. Food came out promptly and was very yummy. We got the pepperoni, sausage, bacon flat bread 10/10. You can tell it's a high quality meat, I particularly loved the thick cut bacon. Service was friendly, it is self seat. They bring the food out to your number, which I don't have any issues with. Missing mountain is one of my favorite spots to visit in Cuyahoga Falls, especially when the weather is nice. They have a wonderful water front patio and they are also dog friendly, which is definitely a plus in my book. Mead is one of my favorite beverages to order and I love that they have at least 3 to 4 different types of mead to choose from. They recently added an apple pie flavored mead, which is so yummy, and not too sweet. For food, I have ordered several things that I like here, including the brisket sandwich, but I always return back to the flatbread pizza. The sauce has a nice flavor and it is a perfect crust to cheese to sauce ratio and I like that you get to choose your own toppings. Excellent for a first date or a night out with friends. read more

Pretty good as I watched the Buckeyes win today over Penn St. no sign of the pride and bisexual flags that adorn so many breweries. I've reviewed Missing Mountain before after having a very delicious lunch here, but my wife kept insisting that the brunch menu was fabulous, so we finally made it there on St. Patrick's Day. Same great, friendly service and another really great meal! I got the breakfast burrito with and my wife got the lobster roll with homemade chips--SO fabulous! My burrito came nice and hot, grilled to perfection, just lightly golden brown. It was a decent-sized burrito, too, stuffed with eggs, chorizo, black beans and avocado. I found the seasoning just right--not too spicy or salty. My wife's lobster roll was nice and tender. This roll wasn't over buttered, so you got the lobster flavor and not just butter, like many we've had in the past. The seasoned homemade chips were very flavorful and hearty. Missing Mountain was offering a self-serve Bloody Mary bar with what might be the very best Bloody Mary I've ever had. The alcohol and mix were pre-made by the staff; you add the rest (pepper, sauce, olives, etc. to make it your own). It was nice and spicy and the couple dashes of Lea & Perrins Worcestershire sauce and ground pepper that my wife added gave that drink a perfect flavor. A little tip if you come for brunch: arrive as early as possible. Some of the brunch items, especially the lobster roll, will run out fairly quickly. We beat the rush by getting there around 10:30, which seemed the perfect time to get a table. When the place is busy, it can very noisy and you may have to wait. Amazing find on our Music Trip to Cleveland. The location is wonderful A+. Great view of the river if you can get once of the seats nearest. I had the Caprese Panini. This might be the second brewery we've visited in the area. We were headed to a concert and this place was on our way. Parking is tight, meaning limited parking is available. We were lucky to locate the final spot available. I did see people parking across the street in a residential area. When you walk in, you go to the front area and let them know what you're drinking, they will get it ready and you start a tab and or pay it off. I did 4 samples of different beers, 3 of them were Hazy IPA's which they were all good, but one I liked better than the rest. The backyard view is nice of the river that goes through the area behind the brewery. Inside the brewery isn't that large, where if it's the winter I can see this place filling up quickly. They may have a second floor that I didn't see. We liked the brewery and would come back when we are in the area again. read more

Wowwwwwww They had me wanting to visit with the names of their beers... but then when you see the patio and the view.. it's amazing! The chips and guac is so good, the chips alone are delicious. We actually came back a couple days later for a beer and the chips and guacamole again. The chicken nuggets were super good too! We also had their brisket sandwich which was good (I think compared to other places the price and the portion weren't 100 percent on par, but we didn't have any complaints!). We tried all of their IPA's and a couple of their fruit beers. The names had us laughing and the beer was really good. This place is a hidden gem! They were on it with having someone dedicated to cleaning tables and chairs.. they were busy and didn't miss anything that I saw. You are required to wear a mask unless you are sitting. All workers wore masks and they clearly had spaced areas for if it got busy people would be spaced out. They did an excellent job, it was organized and well thought out. You're missing out if you miss out on Missing Mountain Brewing! Our visit to Ohio took a turn toward Cuyahoga Falls where our hosts introduced to us to Missing Mountain. It is a really cool spot with a good sized bar area and a large dining room with plenty of tall and not tall tables. There are windows everywhere with great views of the river. Well, it was nighttime when we visited so we couldn't see shit through the darkness, but they tell me the views are great. Also they have a great patio overlooking the river. It was a butt-cold November night in Ohio so MMB didn't offer patio seating. It would've been cool to at least check it out, but the door was locked so we couldn't gain access. That was a bit of a disappointment. So we'll take their word for it that it is a killer patio. MMB is an order at the bar grab your beers and they'll bring your food to your table kinda' place. Nobody is coming to your table to take your order. So get in, claim your spot then head to the bar to place your order. The beers we sampled were very good. Unfortunately for Becky and our Ohio friend MMB is not yet on the hard seltzer train, so they had beer. They did enjoy them though. The Zwickel Trickle Pale Ale was very good. Refreshing and hoppy, but not too hoppy. The Kolsch was very good too. Light and crisp. We were hungry for a snack so we ordered the Ingmar's Bavarian Pretzel. It was $6 with a $2 upcharge for beer cheese dip and an additional $1 for beer mustard. Initially I was not a fan of the upcharge for the dippers, but both the beer cheese and the beer mustard were divine. Soooo good. Okay, worth the three bucks. The pretzel was very, very good. What is it about the pretzels in Northeast Ohio? They are everywhere and in all shapes and sizes! Pretzel loaves, pretzel bites, pretzel buns, pretzel pretzels, pretzel sticks and they are all great! The service at Missing Mountain was outstanding. I failed to get any of the girls' names who helped us, but they were all fabulous. Behind the bar, food server, and the girl who went out of her way to find the correct size t-shirt for me. All were friendly and cheerful. They knew their beers too. We came across this brewery when in the area and decided to stop in and give it a try. I have now been to Missing Mountain twice. I live in Pittsburgh so it's not close by. Both times we have brought crowlers home and shared them with friends. The brewery has a unique set up as there is a room to the left when you walk in and another to the right. When you go to the right you come to the bar. The bar itself is not that big but there are also several tables. There's a nice patio out back but both times I have been there it's been too cold to enjoy it. The service is always friendly. We also have chatted with the owner/brewer. The staff is happy to recommend a beer or give a sample to make sure you get something you like. I would say my one complaint really is wishing they had a few more taps. I'd just like to have a little more variety to choose from. Though I know they are more known for IPAs, which I am not usually a fan of. When we are back in the area we will probably look at the taplist to decide if we want to stop by. My favorite beer I have had it probably Mervielle which is a Belgian strong dark ale. We have also enjoyed a tripel and two different winter beers. If you are an in the area I definitely think it's worth stopping by to give them a shot. It's a very nice brewery and they make some good beers. Bonus points if it's nice out and you can enjoy the patio. read more

Great place with a beautiful patio. It looks like a second patio is being added, too, based on the construction we observed. Lots of dogs on the patio and delicious brunch. I had the avocado toast which was just perfect. Creamy avocado and crusty bread and a hint of sea salt and olive oil. My husband really enjoyed the chicken and waffles. He gave me a bite - the chicken was tender and juicy and the waffle had good flavor. My friend had the brisket sandwich which looked tasty. I've been recommended to stop here several times but due to various reasons haven't been able to stop until yesterday and now I'm upset it's taken this long to stop. They have 10 different beers rotating on tap, with various size pours from samplers to 64oz growlers to satiate any amount of thirst. They also have several food options from pizza to wraps to sandwiches to wings and more. My uncle and I got a 12" pizza and wrap to split. There is no table service so we had to go inside to order and bring our drinks back outside. Due to this, and not wanting to lose our table, we had to go in one at a time. A bit awkward but we managed. Only downfall was that once I ordered my food it came before he even got back with his drinks. This is both good and bad, amazing because the speed at which they prepared our food was incredible, but bad because you run risk of not getting food together and having to send 1 person in at a time to get drinks to not lose your table. However the speed and quality of drinks and food outweigh this odd system to still deserve 5 stars. Just wish there was a way to let people know you're at that table without having to leave your valuables there or go in one at a time. read more
