    St. Louis ribs

Stopped here on the way to a show at Blossom, coming from Columbus. Excellent bbq and sides. The St. Louis ribs were well spiced and a bit chewy, that's how I like them. No parboiled, fall off the bone here. Green beans sides was a generous portion and were great, a little charred with some charred white onion in them. Highly recommended!

Doesn't look like much from the outside but the food here is one of the beat bbq I've had in the area! This was my first time at Big Eu'es but it certainly won't be my last! I had the ribs, burnt ends, yams and mozzarella sticks. I feel like each of these dishes deserve their own recognition because it was all individually amazing. First off, the ribs! Smokey and juicy with a delicious sweet house sauce that I really enjoyed. I got my sauce on the side and was happy for that bc that smoke flavor really shines. The burnt ends were also great, the sauce seemed a little richer with them but I think it was just the meat itself, fantastic. The mozzarella sticks were perfect and the sauce tasted almost like they smoked their own tomatoes and made the sauce in house. I could be wrong but that's the best marinara I've ever had! Yams, also sweet and balanced. Loved them! Portions were huge also!! The only complaint I have is so minor it is barely worth mentioning but if you like your Kool aid at any level other than diabetes sweet I'd grab a different drink I'll definitely be back!!

Burnt ends, chicken, ribs, yams, and pigeons/rice! That's what I call dinner. So good!

It can be hard to find good BBQ, but Big Eu'es renewed my hope. If you're in the area, make sure to stop in.

I love Big Eu'es! Good bbq is so hard to find these days. Not like in the 70's and 80's in Cleveland when there were many amazing places to find it. My husband and I go here all the time. Great prices and friendly ppl . And the portions are HUGE! I always get the 5 rib dinner with potato salad and collards. They almost always give me more than 5 ribs! The ribs are meaty and delicious and not overly smoked . I don't like heavy smoke. They are just right and the meat comes right off the bone! Sauce is delicious as well. My husband always gets the fried chicken wing dinner with Cajun dry rub and OMG they are definitely delicious! Fried perfectly! He also gets the Mac with potato salad. You get your choice of can of pop with your order. The inside of the restaurant is always so clean and that's so important for me even tho I've never eaten inside. And the decor shows the history of the place. I just love it. And I also love how this is an amazing thriving black owned business in an area where you just don't see that. I will always support this place as long as it's there. Simply great food! Go and try it. You will love it.

Tony and I enjoyed late lunch, early dinner at Big Euie's in Cuyahoga Falls, OH on Frontage Street on Saturday June 22, 2019 after long morning and afternoon of hiking. Tony and I shared a Meat Trio Platter of pork, brisket and sliced Roast Beef. Along with 3 sides of Mac n' Cheese, Collard Greens and Baked Beans with sweet corn bread. Tony drank a can of Root Beer and I had a glass of Pineapple Kool-aid. There was two Kool-aid flavors to choose from : pineapple and orange...OMG it was so sweet. The corn bread muffins were very sweet too, which tasted good with the hot spicy BBQ Sauce. My favorite was the Brisket and the Collard Greens. I paid $20.23 for the ticket includes the taxes, the tip made the total $25. Good food and Good service and a Great Price.

The Turkey was good. I also loved the brisket. The jambalaya was too spicy for some to eat. The baked beans I'm told were average (I don't like them so can't compare). I really loved the fried corn. I'd get their food again.

Excellent home-made barbecue. It's great to have local businesses like this and first and foremost, the food is really good.

    Do they use charcoal?

They use charcoal in the large pit. And wood in the smoker.

It has been on my list for ages but it isn't close to my house and the wait is always long! But in March 2026, my bf and I braved the wait so I can finally check this place out! Overall, it is clear why Blue Door is always packed - the food, while overpriced, is delicious and made by a team of talented chef and bakers! I'll say this was a 4.5 star experience. We were quoted a wait for about 45 minutes but we were seated after 30. The case of baked goods were enticing me the entire time but I resisted! Our waiter, Steven, was funny, helpful, and had a great personality. The place, obviously, was packed, with little room in between tables. We saw quite a few patrons order the incredibly indulgent horchata French toast ($24) and I don't think I witnessed anyone finish it! To start, I got a coffee from local coffee roasters, Angel Falls, for $3.50 and my boyfriend treated himself to a fancy hot chai $6.50. It was pretty good local coffee! I wanted to try their famous croissants so I ordered the croque madame croissant sandwich with breakfast potatoes ($21). The croque madame was incredible! The breakfast potatoes could have benefited from an interesting seasoning. My boyfriend wanted everything on the menu but decided on getting the "special menu" loaded baked potato breakfast burger with salt+vinegar brined house chips (aka fries) for $24. The potato inside was a large potato latke. This heavenly creation kept him full for hours. In the end, our bill was pretty pricey for a brunch but we enjoyed every bite. I'm not sure if I will be able to come here again since we got lucky with our wait, but they keep changing their menu and something might entice me so much, I'll endure any wait!

The chicken and sauce part of the chicken and waffles were amazing the corn beef hash dish was great. The waffles lacked real flavor and tasted odd. The coffee was great. Service was awesome but slow (took us 40 minutes to get our food). The restaurant is really cute looking and the pastry's look amazing but we only had the croissant which was great. The food was pretty expensive. We spent 70 bucks as a party of two. They definitely had large portions which is nice for the price however after moving here from Columbus, we've just had better for less for brunch/breakfast so that's why I needed to knock off a star. Still a good place but now where that we'd go to regularly because of the wait times and the price not making it feasible.
