This small shop located in Leslieville serves up some great sandwiches in a space that is primarily take out only (although there are a few bar/counter spots if you'd like to eat there. They are also open daily from 11am to 9pm. Menu wise, there are 9-10 kinds of sandwiches to choose from. They are all served on a sesame kaiser roll and cut in half. You're also able to add on ingredients on top of the already selected ones in the sandwiches. Each of Lambo's Deli locations also have a special sandwich, where this time when I went, it was the crispy chicken club. They also have soft serve as well (rotating flavours!). I stopped by Lambo's Deli on a Monday morning before the lunch rush and opted to grab: - Italian trio sandwich (soppressata, mortadella, prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, picked red onion, arugula, pesto, Calabrian chili spread) - $18 - Soft serve (flavour was hojicha) -$5 Service was friendly and I received my soft serve while waiting for my sandwich to be prepared. It took about 5 min and it was nicely packed. Staff were great and handed me a handful of napkins as well. I ate my sandwich an hour later and before opening the packaging, the sandwich was pretty heavy! Looking at a cross section of the sandwich, it was packed with ingredients! The Italian Trio sandwich was delicious. The roasted red peppers, pickled red onion, arugula, and Calabrian chili spread added freshness to the sandwich which didn't make it feel so heavy with all the deli meats inside as well as the mozzarella cheese. The sandwiches are big and I could only finish half for lunch. Overall, a delicious sandwich shop in Leslieville. Lambo's Deli definitely packs a lot of ingredients in their sandwiches which make for a tasty meal. Be warned, the sandwiches are huge! Also...don't miss out on their soft serve too!

They're well packed with ingredients, and cut in 1/2 if you want to eat 1/2 and save the other for later. Cute deli decor. While it's mainly take out, there's a small counter to sit at if you can score a spot. Nice side options if you want to make it a meal (pop and chips). You won't go hungry here!

Stopped by for dinner and got the Step Brothers (beef patty, fried chicken tender) and Roomate (beef patty, fried calamari) burgers. While most quality wasn't gourmet burger level, it was pretty good for the price point and charred well. The calamari and chicken tenders were standard fried and had good portion sizes. Also got cheesy fries which were drowning in cheese (I love it). Place itself is simple but clean and spacious. Service is friendly and quick. Prices are super reasonable, especially for the size of the burgers. Great stop for a quick bite!

It reminded of squares boys home burger across the street. Bun was great. I like brioche. The only negative was the tomato and cheese were very very thin and the once slice of pickle didn't give much coverage. My husband likes some pickle in each bite so I gave him mine. Overall it's the best burger I've had in a long time. The fries are excellent and plentiful. The amount is the bag is deceiving. There was a large portion compared to other restaurants. Although the flavour was good, there were mostly short pieces and the colour was a little anemic, but definitely very tasty and crispy. Could have been hotter as at the time we were the only ones in the restaurant. Onion rings were good, served very hot, but out of a box from frozen. The large portion was very large and a good value. We had a sandwich to go. It was very messy and the sauce was everywhere. The beef was more like shawarma and I didn't like it, a little dry and tough. Good flavour even if the texture was off. Very clean dining area, but only 3 tables of 4. The service was good, you add on condiments to the burger and the young woman on the counter never asked and seemed confused by my request for ketchup and mustard, I gave up on the relish. Everything is made fresh and we told it would take about 15 to 20 minutes. Worth the wait.
