Walking in, there's a lot going on: tastings, displays, truffles, souvenirs, etc. Music played over…read morethe speakers and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves. I was one of 6 in a group and had great conversation and larger than expected appetizers. I ordered a flight of reds, broadening my tastes to explore a Tempranillo. It was my favorite, actually, and paired well with the Shanghai Short Rib! I was pleasantly impressed. I did have the crab, shrimp and lobster bisque for my appetizer, the seasonal Shanghai Short rib for my entree and the peach butter cake to finish. Truthfully, I was finished long before the dessert, but had to taste each course. It was delectable! Personally, I would've appreciated more spice in the Shanghai sauce, but it was tasty for a more general palate and customer base. There's some risotto that called to me, so I will definitely return! Our service was kind, professional and attentive without being overly aggressive nor present. It was very appreciative.

Would've had a better experience if our party wasn't seated 30 minutes after the reservation time…read moreAFTER being told the table was ready 7 minutes before the actual reservation time. Our server Frenchie also made it very clear that she's only working for tips - but she wasn't working very hard for them. Not only did she belittle our party for our ages, but also made it our problem for taking our food/drink orders late. One person in our party asked a question regarding an entree on the menu and he was met with a smart remark and little to no detail explaining the entree. Later on in the night when the whole table is done eating - we all decide to help out and clean up the table as best as we can. Frenchie decided it was a good time to make yet another smart remark about stacking the plates on top of each other. She continued to say "Have you ever been a server before?" and before really answering she cut me off to say "well then you should know not to stack the plates because you don't know if the server can handle that many plates" ... as she continued to take the pile of dishes out of my hand. If she can't handle too many plates in her hands, then she should've just waited to clear the table or politely say "i'll come back for those plates in a minute" by the end of it all , the entire table felt very uncomfortable by her demeanor towards us - of course we still tipped because we understand what it's like to make a living off of tips but to have a sour attitude and continually reminding us that you're here for tips isn't a great way of having customers coming back.

**Great Experience & Excellent Service!**…read more As a Cooper's Hawk Wine Club member from Virginia, I always enjoy visiting different locations when I travel. This location is fairly new since my last visit to the Jacksonville area, as I usually visit the Southside Town Center location. Heidi welcomed me and got my tasting started. She was warm, friendly, and very cordial. She later handed me off to Isaac, and he absolutely made my visit. Once I shared that I was a Wine Club member who simply wanted to relax and enjoy my tasting, he understood the assignment! He was attentive without hovering, kept my pours coming, and gave me the space to just chill--that was exactly my vibe. Isaac's customer service was genuine, effortless, and memorable. I left feeling relaxed, appreciated, and simply...nice. He truly sealed my trip to the 904! I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the Jacksonville area. Thank you, Heidi and especially Isaac, for making my visit such an enjoyable one!

Her timing was perfect throughout the meal, and she made us feel well taken care of from start to finish. The food was spectacular. My filet mignon was cooked exactly how I like it, and the whipped mashed potatoes were an absolute dream. They paired perfectly with the steak and broccoli. We can't wait to come back!

Like me, if you don't read closely, you might miss the fact that their wine, all their wine, is…read moremade from blueberries. But that laziness might be a very good thing because this is one of the most surprising wine experiences I've ever had. I believe variety in life is a good thing...and this place provides a nice departure from mainstream wine. They have 4 wines. Just 4 wines. There is a dry option that truly is dry and definitely tastes a bit of blueberry. It is a pleasant wine for sipping and relaxing. The next in line is slightly sweet and again rather tasty. The next one is the best in my opinion. It's a "blend". Not in the sense that you normally think of wine blends (you know, multiple grapes) but in a way exactly the same because it's more than one berry. They blend blueberries and blackberries to create an amazing fruity and semisweet wine. This is more that a dessert wine. I could see it as an aperitif, or maybe a lunch wine on a lazy Saturday at home (thinking cold cut sandwich and chips). The final wine was sweet. They finally crossed over into the taste profile I expected for the whole lineup. Service was friendly and gracious. Somehow I expect this guy does a lot of defending his wine against the conventional. Our kindness, open-mindedness and acceptance of this alternative was well received. So in the end, if you're walking the streets of Brunswick and want a little mind-expansion on the wine front, stop in...I think you too will be surprised.
