There was plenty of seating. The pool was not too crowded and the temperature of the water was perfect. I highly recommend this place but please don't all go there because we don't want it to get too crowded lol

They have a regular following of loyal seniors in the recreation room . Where coffee is provided at a suggested donation .a small selection of books are also available with a check out honor system . A few of the local homeless tend to flock here for various reasons , a meal , conversation or to see if anyone has left over pastries or cookies or food from pot lucks etc . One of them has the cutest well behaved little Dog named Jake ! You may hear some colorful language from the pool players once in a while hear the best places to fish and get political views mixed in with a few military war stories and trips and travels around the globe . Thoughts on marriage , the world today or a free SMILE from Dave that carries a cutout from a cheerio box in his pocket and will flash it at anyone being grumpy or negative ; it's all part of the charm . They have a choral group, yoga and line dancing and a variety of special events and drop in classes at affordable rates . You save 50 cents a class by purchasing a senior center card and pre paying for sessions . Lunch is served at a suggested donation, seems like a lot of fish is cooked by the smell , I have never tried it . The senior age is 55 and up although most of the visitors seem to be 70 plus It would be nice if they added more outdoor seating and tables as well as maybe a bench and at least one umbrella because it can get very Hot inside and they have no AC .

This is a review for the weekday LUNCH…read more I feel honored to be the first person to tell you about this 'locally-known' place. Every weekday is a different meal - and it's complete, wonderfully portioned, and worth every penny. But more than the food is the opportunity to meet a group of great people. Granted most are (well) over 65, but this made me feel so young! The staff are a group of 'grandmother' types who are the sweetest ladies around the lake. And, everyone who 'knows' says this is the best 'senior-center' kitchen around for miles. But, you don't have to be a 'senior' to enjoy the feast. Seniors pay $4 and younger folks pay $6. And for this extravagant price you get: Soup (which is amazing), salad bar with only 'healthy' choices, meat/chicken/fish, veggies, potato/rice, and desert. I'm going back this Friday for corned beef, and I'll add a couple pictures soon. After 13 years or so without a review, I don't think they need me to promote the place... I just thought you might like to try this 'old-school' place for lunch some day. It is amazing how at one moment a person can be carefully navigating on their own and within a year life begins to be a challenge. Tasi and those who work intimately with his team are amazing. Never once have I had to be suspicious of their care or their integrity. If my Mom could clearly come back and do it all over again she would have not changed a thing. They took the stress off my shoulders and their communication and awareness of her particular needs was over the top professional. They are well trained, have high standards and deal with crisis and problems that can and will arise. My background is in mental health and I have worked in 3 hospitals. I interviewed over 5 care agencies. Grace in home Care is not greedy. They are there working in a ministry to help those outside themselves; they are fair and can deal with challenging individuals, yet are willing to be humble to serve those who can be difficult to be served. I presently go to 3 to 7 homes where other agencies are involved. If you love your parents or if you are in need of someone who is not only accountable to the person who is being cared for, but also the one who is paying the bills..... consider them; they are lovely and happy to work with you concerning your schedules and special needs.
