The ladies will let you know when your food is ready. For instance, I am in love with the carnitas tacos here. When your tacos are ready, you go up to the condiment bar, where they have chopped up cabbage, cilantro, lime, radishes, and salsas to use as toppings. You can also get some chips and use the sauces to dip in while you wait. I have never waited more then five minutes or so for my food. Then, you enjoy every delicious bite! What if you get hungry and you need more tacos? You just walk right back up to the front and order a few more tacos, and do it all over again. When you are done with your food and your drink, you proceed back to the register and pay for your meal. If I can go somewhere, and the food tastes better than what I can make it home... I am beyond impressed. This little store is one of my best Discoveries in Grandview. There's a beautiful selection of meat behind the glass case. They have some of your shopping needs here... Even though it is not right next to the Interstate, it is fairly easy to get to and getting back on to the Interstate is easy enough. However, if you're like most road trippers and you like to combine your stops to fill up your tank with your stops to empty your bladder, I highly recommend you take a different exit. This bathroom was NASTY! Picture the stereotypical nasty gas station bathroom you've always feared. Well, the bathroom at Cottage Market Conoco is worse! I bet you're thinking, "Well Ira, you're talking about the men's room. The ladies' room is bound to be better." WRONG! At Cottage Market Conoco these is but one bathroom. It's unisex and it's NASTY!

However, they do offer a variety of beverages including smoothies (fruit or coffee), ice cream, and other little snacks and candy. I came here to try out their espresso, and I got a decent latte. They do have wifi separate from the mall, and small tables just outside of the shop so that I could camp out here to do some work and to write this review. This is a convenient location to do just this, since it's open until 8pm, whereas other coffee shops I have been to so far close earlier and I have to opt for somewhere more expensive to use wifi. I'd come here again on work days.

I walked in and started studying the menu, unsure of what I'd like. Guerra started assisting me immediately, asking me what I felt like eating and answering my questions about what was on the menu. I ended up getting the Seattle dog, which is decadent with bacon, cream cheese and onions. I expressed my interest in spice and he gave me a side of jalapenos and his home made red sauce. Very good. I also got an orange ice tea. It wasn't sugary, it was just the tea, so it was perfect. After that dog, I may feel like having a heart attack, but it was sure good. He chatted me up a bit, and he gave me ideas on events to go to because as a young person just here for the farming season who doesn't know anybody, there is not too much to do. He takes pride in this shop, it might be my favorite place in Sunnyside yet. I will be going back to try the tacos and the burgers before I head back home.

She asked if I'd ever been in Jade's and I said no and she warned me that if I started, I'd never stop. Turns out she owns a shop down the street and has been a regular ever since they opened up. How could I not go after a glowing review like that?! I definitely can see why she goes daily. Yum! I'm adding Jade's to my list of places I absolutely must go when I'm in Prosser. I still need to try the handmade ice cream. The girl behind the counter also said all of the pottery for sale was made onsite and they had lots of cute little crochet and knit items as well.

We showed up mid-day and I think that somewhat impacted our experience because they were sold out of a lot! I guess their cinnamon rolls are one of their best sellers but they go early! We had two of the last pasties they had warmed up for lunch. While they were delicious, whatever they used to warm them was a bit ineffective. By the middle, we hit cold cheese and meat which was less desirable. For dessert I opted for a toffee bar that didn't event make it out of the shop in its to-go container. It was so good! And again, the last one of the day. I wish we could've gone back one morning but they are closed on Sunday. They had a lot of buy one get one options that were quite tempting! Besides the ineffective microwave, the biggest disappointment of the day was their dinner rolls. We bought some for that night hoping to replicate some of the deliciousness we had had that day. My mom warmed them up and I was so excited but upon biting into them - it tasted like they were missing something - maybe salt? They were such a letdown but I'm hoping it was a fluke!
