Not too bad of a place and it's a good bang for the buck, good food. My wife saw their deserts on the way out too so we got some!!

Oh my! What a pleasant surprise to find such elegance in Sunnyside, WA They even heated up a cinnamon roll appetizer for me! Then came the Entree; Western Omelette. I mean, just marvelous. And the atmosphere was so perfect. I will be back on my next trip over Snoqualmie. read more

1st time here. It was 7:15, 40 minutes before closing. Walking it was like walking into a party. Class reunion for owner. They still accommodated us. Once inside and seated it wasn't quite so bad. We ordered fairly fast, but our food was very slow in coming. Don't know if this was normal or just the reunion party that had a buffet. The food. Excellent. I had fish tacos and they were fresh and flavorful with with a large piece of fish. I dove right in and didn't even think of taking a picture until I was halfway thru the 2nd taco. LAM ordered the sausage canzone and added pineapple, I know, don't start on the pineapple, we like the sweet with the spice. Anyway, they made it as a pizza rather than the canzone. The waitress came out when the mistake was made. The pizza was already made up so we said ok. But still not what we ordered. It was OK, but not what she really wanted. Anyway, the pizza was good, the sausage was also good. The House made crust was a little dense but ok. Be sure to check out the bakery case. We got 2 lemon blueberry scones. They were outstanding. I grew up in Sunnyside and have never been to Bon Vino's, but I did move away eons ago. My first visit and I was impressed with this cozy spot. Ordered the senior citizen breakfast (yikes l, I said it!) and it was priced just right, under $10. Impressed with the basic breakfast, and service was excellent. The food is always delicious and the staff is so friendly. Definitely check out the baked yummy goodies. I always get one or two to go.

Biscuits and gravy were really filling. The biscuits were buttery and not dry. I only had the half order and it was more than enough. The stuffed French toast was okay. The filling was a little bit of mascarpone. I expected some berries to be in the French toast instead of on top. The staff were nice and we got serviced pretty quickly. The food is amazing! I've never ever had a bad meal here. Very clean environment with a kind and attentive staff!

After waiting 40 minutes for the reuben sandwich and waffle fries, I received two thick slices of bread holding 1 slice of meat. My waffle fries were subbed without asking me with regular fries. And my colleague had to wait longer for his cold turkey sandwich. Expensive and incredibly over priced. Waste of time. Horrible service. All around poor place with a nice aesthetic. read more

Stopped in for breakfast after a lovely weekend in Wine Country, but unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of disappointing. The patio is being remodeled, so there was no outdoor dining. Not a problem, indoors was cute and had plenty of open seats. The restaurant was medium busy, so we understood the extra few minutes to take our order. Again, no big deal, we sipped coffee and chatted, while we waited for our breakfast. What was disheartening was watching a group of three arrive a full 15 minutes after us and get amazing service, including their order taken and their full breakfast served to them while we sat, ignored, still waiting for ours. When we asked for more coffee, we politely inquired about our meal. Our server confessed that the folks at the next table "were friends" and that the cook had "accidentally" prepared their order before ours. When our food finally arrived, my husband had nice, crispy hash browns, while mine were limp and white, so I pointed the difference out to our server. Rather than bringing me some properly cooked hash browns, she took my whole plate of food, leaving me with nothing while my husband ate breakfast. When she returned with my meal it was cold, and my hash browns, while brown, were now swimming in an unappetizing puddle of oil. I dined on cold eggs and toast while the cook came out from the kitchen to hug and chat with her friends, never acknowledging us or even making eye contact while we sat just a few feet away. My husband did enjoy his omelet, but we felt neglected, to say the least. We would have bought carrot cake and left a great tip if only we'd been treated a little better. Instead, we skipped the cake -- and for the first time in many, many years, we didn't tip. If you're a local, this place might treat you well, but if you're a traveler, I'd recommend driving on. read more

Best restaurant in Sunnyside and Yakima Valley! The owners are incredible and the food is amazing. Every time we eat at Bon Vino's we're treated with great service and leave happy. I ordered the Tuscan Chicken Alfredo and it was delicious. I didn't have wine during my visit, but they have a great selection to choose from. Also, they cater and do an amazing job at events. Super disappointed! We went here with hopes that we were going to have a great experience but unfortunately that was not the case. We got to the restaurant at 10:40 and sat in the back room. We didn't get menus until 11:04 to which she said we couldn't get breakfast and they stopped serving it at 11:00. After explaining how long we had been waiting she didn't care and just said "sorry" and walked away. There were people still getting their breakfast plates. So we stayed and ordered lunch. She finally came back at 11:20 to take our order. We ordered sandwiches and chicken strips and didn't even get our food until 12:05. The whole time we were waiting for our food our waitress disappeared. She didn't once come back and refill drinks or anything. Once we got our food she was gone again. Didn't once come check on us and see if we needed anything. Didn't refill drinks/waters anything. The food wasn't bad it was a little cold by the time we actually got it. It was decent for sandwiches but the service was unacceptable. The waitress was also not personable, not social and came off as unkind and unhappy. She had no answers to any questions we had. I hope it was a fluke but I'm also not sure if I want to spend the time and money to give it another chance. read more

Hosts were nice, they were training but we didn't seem to notice. My friends were good, but on the burger was good but I really didn't care for the toppings or the burger. The burger gave me frozen cheap 1/2 burger vibes. Even the frozen Walmart burgers are juicier than this. The peppers and avocado also tasted off. We have been coming here for lunch for years. Do not expect good service, even when it's slow. That is nothing new. The ambiance is nice inside, outdoors would be nice if the seating was more comfortable. We keep coming back because of the food and the baked goods. Favorites are the paninis, burgers, and onion rings. The waffle fries are great too. Very good fresh salads, sandwiches and baked goods. The food here is completely worth the wait if you aren't in a hurry! read more

Food and service were well below average. Outdoor patio furniture is made from pallets. Nails were cut off leaving sharp edges. Sharp corners and uncomfortable. Turkey sandwiches were made with old turkey, ready to spoil. Fish with fish-n-chips was way overcooked. Service was no better than the food. No reason to return. read more

Huge huge shout out to our local bistro @bonvinosbistrosandbakery for closing early to cater my sons birthday party at their bistro! Roger your the absolute best! My baby shower was a great success with the buffet breakfast and now again with the lunch for my sons 1st birthday! Y'all if you haven't been there to eat you must go it amazing food but best part is that the lunch was a hit along with all the desserts the entire staff (sweet heart Rey) at this location is truly amazing and friendly they make you feel at home and for that reason we will always go back there for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and their catering services! Seemed like there was only 3 employees with atleast 8 tables full. Need the menu to be handed to us when being seated. Took to long to order, we had to notified the server that we were ready, like 15-25 min or so. Egg needed some seasoning. Need to add salt and pepper to give taste. Personal Recommendation: Pancake could be 1/2 smaller and offer two pancakes instead of 1 and 4 instead of 2. But I like the area and has potential to be really great place to for regulars. Had a tire blow out as I was on the freeway so had to go to Les Schwab in Sunnyside. They had to drive to Tri Cities to get the tires my car needed, so it was going to be a very long wait. Looked on the map and found that Bon Vino's was only a mile away, so decided to walk over for breakfast. I was very impressed with the food and the service. Everything was quick and tasted great. Can't say I will ever be in Sunnyside again to eat, but definitely a nice little spot for a small town read more

Clealry they are trying, but trying doesn't translate to delivering a good service. 1. The capuchino (was not a cappuccino) it was just coffee mixed in with milk. 2. My food was not delivered until 30 mins after my girlfriends food was dropped off. 3. No sense of urgency, out coffee was served on to go cups, while other patrons received their in ceramics cups. (Either wash more or there is an issue) 4. Food was salty, beyond normal. 5. No apologies from the manager (too busy hugging his friends walking through the door). 6. Details matter, tables not being buzzed, sticky tables and sweeping the floor does go a long way. 7. This is my second time here and both times there were issues. 8. Drive-thru and table service doesn't always mix well if you don't have your house in order. Very disappointed read more

Delish lunch spot! We enjoyed our pasta, the chicken was perfectly cooked and the cookies were wonderful.

I have ate there two times in one week once for lunch and once for dinner both times it was great! Anthony just happened to be the server both times he was beyond nice and funny. Outdoor seating is a great bonus. Food tasted great and was prompt. Seating is spaced out to a proper distance. Wait staff were new, and could have been more knowledgeable about the menu items. Service was fast, with drinks refilled promptly, and food served quickly. The food was tasty, with large portions. I had a salad which was more than I could eat. My lunch partners had sandwiches with fries that filled their large plates. Roger and his team just pulled off a miracle for Wilbur Ellis today! A mis-communication I made led Roger to believe we were arriving at 1:30pm for a business lunch we scheduled in the back room. However, 30 people arrive at 11am for a lunch that Roger wasn't ready for. He and his team had a great meal ready for all of us by 11:15am. Everyone was fed by 11:30am with great food. Roger and his staff made it happen with smiles on their face in spite of my error. Great customer service is hard to find, however, you will find it here.
