Visited the Sharpsburg GA store to source a grout which had been used for our new construction in…read more2020. Whilst that particular grout and color is no longer available at Traditions, their Branch Manager Duaine Everett went out of his way to assist us. The new management / team at that branch is exceptional as is their revitalized showroom. We look forward to returning for both the product and the service.

Shane who runs the warehouse made it right- he immediately reordered our tile and adjusted our pricing to alleviate some of the unfortunate issues we had been dealing with. Review: We came here based off a recommendation to choose tile for an entire home renovation where we were using ceramic tile throughout plus more. Admittedly the selection is outstanding but that's where it stops... Salesperson was helpful only after being told we needed to come back at a set appointment to discuss options. A few visits later we finally were able to place the order. Keep in mind they do not visit site or provide any assistance in measuring. So, even after providing correct numbers salesperson called a few more times to ask for numbers again and at one point admitted to having misplaced them. And same salesperson continued having to consult with manager before moving forward... The whole process of just ordering was more complicated than expected, invoices so hard to read that we all had to ask for clarification, lunches being ate at desks while we waited for assistance, paying half up front ($7000+) and before even picking up the tile asked for full payment ($7000+ more) before my Construction supervisor could leave with a few items and finally after trusting the correct amount of underlay material was ordered after giving total square footage of home and then finding out we needed several more rolls because not enough was ordered costing us a few more thousand dollars .... As you can imagine this hurts our budget for house flooring at this point. We came here thinking we were coming to the experts but we are thoroughly disa My husband and I want to support small business in the area but unfortunately with unsatisfactory customer service and poor follow through and excuses after excuses it makes it difficult.

Love these "small box" hardware stores so much better than the "big boxes (BBs)"! Needed a simple…read moresink drain pop up rod. The BBs both listed some one-size-fits-all that reviews were very mixed on. Checked Miles Ace and looks like they had one (for about a $1 cheaper!) that had 2 sets of components for multiple fits. Walked in, immediately greeted by an offer to help, stated what I was looking for and got a personal escort right to the item I needed. In and out in about 5 minutes. Part worked exactly as a replacement for broken item. Miles is a bit further for me than another small box HW store I frequent, but Miles having an online search feature immediately tells me if they have what I need before driving out, which sways me over to them when looking for a unique item.

I have a single key to an old aftermarket Givi motorcycle trunk. These keys are notoriously hard…read moreto find/replicate. I finally found blanks, but even with the original and new blanks, I couldn't get it copied. I tried a half a dozen big box stores. It seems all the current machines require that the key matches a pre-defined blank number in the machine database (which mine does not). A perfect example of technology making things more difficult rather than easier. I saw this Ace Hardware on my way home yesterday and stopped in, hoping they could copy it. Well, they had an old key cutting machine - the kind that just duplicates whatever you put in it. The guy made me 2 copies, both of which work perfectly and charged me $0. That's right, $0. Way to go, Miles Ace Hardware - great customer service. You made a customer for life!
